Lunch and dinner include oversized salads, sandwiches, fish, pastas and contemporary American bistro style entrees that are sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates. And for those who’ve played late into the evening, Terrace Café is the place to kick back with a post-party midnight snack.
We made out reservations several days in advance but when we got their at the appointed time they had gone into first come first served mode. Had to endure about a 45 minute wait with no seating provided
My wife and I like to get away to Biloxi - especially the Beau Rivage! Outstanding property. There are many restaurants with the Beau Rivage offering a variety of foods and tastes at several costs depending on your time and preferences.
We decided to eat lunch at the Terrace Cafe inside the Beau Rivage and we made reservations through Open Table - 15 minutes before we wanted to go eat - super easy! We enjoy trying different items while here. We were promptly seated and the staff was great. Our server offered several items, but we knew what we wanted to try - Chicken and Waffles and the heart stopping country fried steak.
Both dishes were large portions so make sure you are hungry when you get there. The Country Fried Steak was surrounded by green beans and mashed potatoes. The Chicken and Waffles were NOT nuggets, but real fried chicken that was great. This took a little long, but remember to be patient as they are making the fried chicken to order!
Great meal, great server and reasonably priced.
Birthday: Steaks over cooked, had a charred flavor and tough; requested new one which didn’t appear until all sides were already eaten. Management finally arrived and took care of the meals and provided deserts. That was generous but hope to have a better meal next time instead. Recommend not charring, it doesn’t add to the flavor (burnt taste) and is likely the cause for over cooking.
Ate there 3 times over the weekend was excellent all 3 times
Terrace does not honor reservations even though I told them it was thr the Beau Rivage website that I was directed to open table to make the reservation.
The problem we experienced is the lack of service at the check in process. The two women had attitude when we mentioned we would prefer to not sit in a back corner, especially since there were so many available tables that just needed to be cleaned.
the host at the restaurant was VERY COOPERATIVE in seating us in a timely manner, considering the fact that he had no reservation from OPEN TABLE on our behalf. This is the second time OPEN TABLE has completely let us down, but this time we were lucky enough that the host was able to find a place to seat us!
As far as the restaurant goes, it was a fine experience and the food was good. Big portions but medium service. Not to happy with the waitress.
I am terribly disappointed with OPEN TABLE. There is no excuse for this, especially TWO TIMES!
Need to let the Hostess and Mgmt team know that reservations can be made from the Open Table app. Hostess and Asst. Mgr. acted like they were doing us a favor by seating us for our 10:30am reservation. The Asst. Mgr. had the audacity to tell me that you cannot make a reservation for the Terrace Cafe on Open Table App. This did not make for a pleasant dining experience when trying to celebrate my dad on Father’s Day.
This place does not use open table! We have booked it twice & it was at least a 30 minute wait. Don’t know why it is on Open Table?
When we arrived, we were informed that this restaurant does not take reservations and we would have to wait. We did not stay to eat.
I visited the Terrace Cafe during brunch/lunch hours with friends. Made reservations & were seated quickly. I ordered the lunch special (Salisbury steak) but wasn’t satisfied with the way the meat was cooked (it was too undercooked for my liking) & they tried correcting it but it still wasn’t as cooked as I’d like. The meal looked delicious. The manager & staff were very nice in trying to correct things but I ended up ordering something else as I didn’t want to wait any longer for the same meal. I’d go back as I do enjoy the food & setting. The music was a bit loud but overall it was a nice place to enjoy lunch & time with my family & friends.
The ambience is always tasteful and extravagant but the menu of sandwiches is suffering from lack of taste. The Reuben was tough and hard... the fries were cold. Ugh!
We went to the Terrace for Valentine's dinner with another couple. There were many choices on the menu. A couple of items were not available because they had run out. There was grouper on the menu and the waitress suggested that to us because we wanted fish. Another in our party had the fried chopped steak. The fish came out in a large portion with delicious mashed potatoes and a very leafy salad, which wasn't our choice but it came with the meal. The dressing was delicious. The grouper was excellent and we were able to use our comps towards the meal. We were too full for dessert. It is a very nice restaurant. Our friends had gone for breakfast as well and were very pleased.
Great food & service. Kelly was our waitress, she was excellent as she always is! We will return when in Biloxi.
Our waiter was Lee, the manager. Service was great and food was delicious! We will definitely go back when staying there.
Both my friend and I ordered soup - different kinds - they were both not hot enough. I had the gumbo and it was fine. We shared the steak sandwich. It was really tasteless. I picked at it and ate my fries.
We had breakfast at the Terrace on Saturday. The eggs had no flavor. The potatoes are actually too spicy. They taste like pepper. The coffee at the Terrace is terrible, tastes like hot water. Yuk.
The French toast is very good.
Was told when checking in that we would have to wait, since they didn't do OT and we would be put on a wait list. We went twice while there, Saturday we had good service & food, Sunday was not as good...waitress never came back for drink refills or to check on us after food arrived. Had to flag waitress down to get check.
Asked for waffle to be cooked extra crispy, came out undercooked, sent it back, took a while to get it cooked rest of party were through eating by the time I got it.
The chicken pot pie was recommended! It was terrible!
Love the French Onion soup. The only problem is the wait staff. They are pushy and always act like it is a problem to wait on you... and forget a refill. But the soups good. 😏
Food was very good, service was slow. We were looking forward to a quiet breakfast, but the couple at the table next to us had another couple they knew come to talk to them and they stood by them talking the entire time we were there! Annoying!!!
They do not take reservations through Open Table so while it may say it does do NOT count on having a table at the time you reserve. Management is aware so hopefully Terrace will be removed from Open Table. Other than that, our breakfast was yummy and the servers were great!!
The hostess was not aware that they took reservations from Open Table
Great French onion soup! Server Charmaine was fantastic!
Good food late night. Service is questionable sometimes as the staff is a bit snooty. French Onion soup is wonderful. 😉
We really enjoyed the Terrace Café. The service was good, especially from our server Thomas. Those attending him also were great. The food portions were quite large. And very tasty. I would recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A nice find inside the Beau Rivage.
Great portions! Very consistent over all these years. Food and service great value and tastes great.
Been eating here for many years. The food is good and there is very good value. Great portion size. Nice friendly service. So glad it is now on Open Table.
Since this was our second visit to the Beau Rivage, we knew exactly where to get a good meal after arriving late in the day. Food is consistently good, as is the service. Our late supper of soup and fried oysters more than satisfied. We returned for breakfast and again, good food and good service. The Terrace Café has never failed us.
I have enjoyed every meal I've had at the Terrace! It's tucked away nicely from the bustle of the Casino and the new chef is wonderful. The tomato basil soup is delicious as is everything I've had on the menu.
