Food is usually pretty good but not "knock your socks off" amazing for the high prices charged. Service is typically good but not great; however, we got lucky this time and had a really good server, Wil Haynes. Atmosphere on the back patio is as good as you will find in Atlanta. The owners, Mohammed and David, are always extremely hospitable and appreciative for the business.
I go there with a date. Small bar is cozy and can be crazy busy. Dining seating in your choice of three different kinds of ambience. But please don’t go there—I wanna keep Terra to myself!
Favorite neighborhood go to! Chris is a great somolier and service was great!
My friend from out of town and I had not seen each other for a long time and did not feel rushed to leave our table. Our server was very pleasant and we enjoyed our lunch very much.
Great service, outstanding food
This was our first time at the restaurant....very impressive! Very nice staff. The menu is not extensive, but I’m sure everything is good since they can prefect it! The restaurant was VERY busy and our server was a little bit overloaded, but overall, the service was very good. We had the grilled artichoke, minestrone, sea bass, chicken AND creme brûlée...all were delicious. Next time, we would like to sit outside on the patio....very pretty....and they have it heated! The booths (which we sat in) were a little low and uncomfortable. Would prefer a table next time. We’ll be back!
Our waiter did a great job in spite of having to cover our table up front and tables on the patio. The great food will cause us to return.
Good food. Good service. Quiet enough to enjoy your conversation with friends—really good place for catching up with friends.
First time at Terra Terroir, but definitely not my last! The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating, attentive without being intrusive. The food was top-notch!
Terra Terroir was excellent. I went there for a date and I was struck with such a wonderful ambiance. Please don't let the front turn you away, once you go in its like going into another world. The steak was great and wine was tasty. The server was very knowledgeable. When I'm back in Atlanta, I definitely will go again.
Got there a little late. Went to sit in bar and have a cocktail before dinner. Not a single cocktail waitress. Sat for about 15 min and then we were seated. Seemed like easy bar money that they missed out on. Overall, seabass was excellent! Great time with friends.
We love Terra Terroir, go often and will continue to do so. That said, our last two reservations were for 4 people at 7:30 pm on two different Sat. evenings. Both times we have had to wait almost 15 min to be seated even though we arrived on time for our reservation. It is just a little frustrating.
Although it was a busy Sat. Evening, we were seated in a timely fashion. First time there for our friends, who joined us. Ordered the chicken Provencial, which was DELICIOUS... And with the rice and spinach on the side...quite ample. My husband loved his salmon dish, and our friends love his steak and her huge salad with chicken, which was enough for her to take home half of it. As an appetizer,,we shared the mushroom flatbread--yummy!
We were especially impressed with the service and the ambience. It will be one of our favorite place to which we will return...
We had a reservation but they had no table for us. We waited at the bar. We sat there for 20 minutes before the bartender bothered to ask for our drink orders. When we finally got a table, our waiter was extremely slow. The best thing about the evening was the bottle of Bordeaux we had. Hardly a ringing endorsement.
This was my first visit but my guest, who had suggested Terror Teroir, swears by it. She was right! Light, very tasty lunch, at a good price in a nice environment with lovely and interesting people to spoil us. What more can one ask for?
Always a nice place to dine. The service is very hospitable, the food exceptional, and the value is very good.
Went on a date with my boyfriend before heading to a show at the FOX. Waiter was very nice and very attentive at first, but it took longer to find him as the restaurant got busier. I ordered the AHI tuna which was phenomenal and the portion was quite generous. My bf ordered the salmon. Also delicious, but it seemed like a much smaller portion than my meal. Might have been an isolated incident to my benefit...but I did end up sharing some of my ample entree with my bf. The food was well prepared and really good. Apple bread pudding for Dessert was good...but not something overly memorable. I might try another dessert next time. Coffee is STRONG Americano...I will ask them to add about 8oz more water next time...I couldn't drink it. I would love to see a couple of VEGAN options here in addition to the pescetarian or vegetarian options. We eat fish occasionally, but a few creative Vegan menu items would be much appreciated.
Great experience! We will definitely be back again!!!
Four of us women had a delightful time. Food delicious. Great ambiance. Love TT!!
The restaurant was amazing!!! Me and my girlfriend first time there. The food was tasty! Also, there was a scotch name Johnnie Black and my name is Johnny Black!!! I felt at home, i would definitely recommend this place.
A wonderful environment to celebrate a special occasion.
I had a lovely dinner with a friend. We both started with a glass of rose wine. She ordered the tuna, and I ordered the sea bass. Ample, filling portions, and tasty. The gentleman who seated us and has been there for a long time, is lovely and accommodating as always. I noticed most of the guests opted for the patio seating so it was nice to have the quiet dining room to ourselves. I’m looking forward to my next visit.
Great Atmosphere on the back patio. Service and food was great. Recommending to friends. Definitely going to visit again
This was our 3rd visit and each time the service is great, foot is spectacular and the ambiance is awesome. Four us it is a very short drive and has that neighborhood look and feel
I have eaten here twice, and think the food is great. However, two complaints. The music is loud and annoying. I asked for it to be turned down, but it stayed too loud throughout the meal. And two of the party of four were still eating lunch when the waiter plopped down our bills and two take home boxes. Barely enough room on the table for us to sign our checks, since no dishes had been removed. There were still plenty of empty tables, so we weren't taking up space that was needed. But once again, the food is really good.
Overall it was pretty good--however, had reservations at 7 and did not get seated until 7:25--why have a reservation anyway? Server did not know there were 4 of us seated at a table for 7, so it took us another 10 minutes before we were able to get his attention and begin our dinner.
Not sure when I will go back
We love the patio, and the ambiance and service is always great. The Brussel Sprouts App is amazing!
Great food, excellent service. Chris was wonderful with recommendations and party suggestions. A couple of nearby guests were obnoxious but the restaurant is still one of our faves.
Had lunch here for a friend's birthday and ate on the patio. This is a great little place and the food is always good. We really love the outside patio area and look forward to enjoying it later this year. Had a little trouble hearing our friend who is softly spoken due to an enthusiastic girl's group nearby.
This is first time we have had a bad experience here. We had a reservation for only 3 people, arrived on time and were told a 10 minute wait which was acceptable. Unfortunately we watched as others who came in after us were seated and after about 30
Minutes we went to the bar and kept being told "just 10 more minutes. We finally ended up eating at the small high top in the bar after waiting an hour
Absolutely the worst experience we’ve had in years. We arrived for our 7:30 reservation and were immediately told there was a wait (not even a “good evening” or welcome - that was his very first statement). When we said we actually had a reservation the host could not have been more condescending when he told us “all these people do. Everyone has a wait” - as if it was somehow prestigious that they had all these folks waiting to be seated. He suggested we wait at the bar - where the service got even worse. The bartender literally would not acknowledge us (yes it was busy - but we would have been happy with “good evening I will be with you just as soon as I can”. ) Nothing. Another patron flagged him down for us and We ordered cocktails that were awful. I had to go back to the host at 8:15 - 45 minutes after our reservation - to check in on if we were ever getting seated. Went back to the bar, our bartender we had not seen again. I asked the other bartender for our check and I quote “when I can get to it”. Every person there made us feel they were incredibly put out they had to deal with us. My take is that this place only wants to cater to their regulars. There seemed to be many of them and they don’t want anything to do with someone dining there for the first (and last) time. We were finally seated at 8:30 - an hour after our reservation. Our waiter was nice - but also incredibly rushed. The food is good, and we finally started to unwind with a nice bottle of wine and enjoy our appetizers - when our food: salads and entrees came out all at once....while we were still eating the apps. Once again, the woman who brought all the food was unapologetic and basically said - “we’re busy so just take it”. At that point - it was comical how rude everyone was. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. I’ve dined all over this city and never in my life felt compelled to write a poor review. But this was such miserable evening I could let someone else think this was a good find.
Stumbled upon Terra Terrior by accident, and sure glad I did. Been there 3 times now. Sad to say they removed the filet from their menu and substituted it with a NY sirloin. Not the same. Too bad, as this was the best choice on the menu; but I'll be back - maybe next time some cool chicken dish. Bar and garden area is great. One would never know this was a great find in the middle of a strip mall next to Rite Aid. Note to the guys who designed the joint: The front door should open the other way!
This place is alright, nothing special. Food is good but I think overall dinner ends up more expensive than what it’s worth. Definitely worth trying once.
The crispy Brussel sprouts were great. The candied bacon deviled eggs were unique . Really enjoyed the special Jumbo Scallops Risotto. And even though we were stuffed we weren't disappointed with the Cinnamon bread pudding.
This restaurant would benefit from a menu update for lunch.
Wonderfully delicious as always. Service and atmosphere match the amazing food.
Went to Terra Terroir after a movie. I’ve been several times and remain convinced it’s one one of the most underrated places in ATL. The food is consistently very good. Quiet, nice patio.
Neat place. We were having dinner before a show at The Fox. Food was good, and we enjoyed the dinner. We will go back again.
Great date place! The food was excellent, the service terrific and the patio was surprisingly beautiful and warm even in January!
Great food and great experience
