Just OK food. I wouldn’t resist at all to come back but I wouldn’t come expecting to find great or authentic plates.
Service was OK. My waitress was very nice but she forgot about us for a while.
A big win is that they didn’t rush me to leave the table, which I appreciated since my date was going well.
The food was good but I did not have anything that was a true show stopper and was a bit disappointed as the price point was just too high for what it was. I was a bit in shock that half the staff had masks on below their chin, even the hostess pulled hers down every time she spoke directly at people. My hope is everyone is vaccinated and following CDC guidelines. Outdoor dining was a lovely spot and enjoyed the tasty cocktails.
The rooftop terrace is delightful even the pouring rain. We were nice and dry under the covering.
Terra Plata is always a hit with my family! Rooftop dining was fantastic even in a downpour. We enjoyed some standards like shishito peppers, frites, and the cheese plate. Also enjoyed seasonal options like the brightly flavored Asian pear salad and a green salad with radishes, goat cheese and some delicious cured meat. The steak with asparagus was devoured & the vegetarians enjoyed the pasta.
Do explore the cocktail list. I was thrilled with the mezcal offering and the sweet tooth enjoyed the seattle raindrop. My kids liked the non-alcoholic offerings. The Pinot noir offered by the glass was top notch.
The pacing of a terra plata meal enjoyed with courses of small plates is our family favorite for celebratory nights.
Took about 10 minutes before anyone came over to take our order. Another group had a reservation for our table at 5:30pm so the delayed/slower service made it so we could only have one drink.
We had a early afternoon Sunday brunch on the rooftop under a rain cover protecting us from the pouring rain. Lovely meal with our newly 21 yr old sons and although we had mistakenly marked two guests when we were four the staff was able to accommodate us. Side by side tables were dividing by plexiglass glass ‘walls’. Exceptional food, wine (wonderful well-priced rioja), delicious cocktails.
Nice place at the triangle corner of the streets. Good ambience. The server missed getting spoons etc. but otherwise good service.
The service was outstanding, the staff was kind and accommodating. The breakfast sausage sandwich was delicious!
We were left waiting several for long times for simple requests like a house made soda. I timed it, and it took 20 minutes for that to come. French fries were over fried and oily. The attention of the staff was given to a group table and my wife and I had to get up to speak to a waitstaff to get their attention.
Food was average at best and not what we expected given other reviews.
Amazing, fresh food and awesome service!!
Disappointing experience here. We were not seated until 7 pm for our 6:30 reservation (along with multiple other parties with reservations who were kept waiting.) My husband ordered the only vegetarian option on the menu, and it was inedible - too much salt, too much garlic. So he had to go without dinner. My duck was overcooked and bland. Service was painfully slow. Will not be coming back.
Good food and service, downstairs had poor airflow so on a hot day it’s easy to sweat in your seat.
Great for casual dinning or formal. The food is incredible, the staff are amazing and it’s an all around wonderful experience.
I wouldn't come back here again. I came with a party of 7 for to celebrate my graduation. It took over 15 minutes for the waitress to greet us, and it took an extremely long time for everything from coffee to food to the check to come out. My mom's plate came last, almost after everyone else had finished eating! The menu was limited and over priced. I will not be coming back here again.
Good. Could have more food options especially for allergens and vegans.
Love this place, the food is always amazing and the staff is very friendly. The whole experience of dining at Terra plata is a 100% love for food, caring for the planet and a big sense of community. We love coming here ❤️
Steak was tough, salad was great. Cauliflower was decent but not exciting. Pork dish was overall salted. Clearly the $160.00 paid for the ambiance.
They personalized the menu for my birthday!! The meal and drinks were delicious, roof ambiance was very nice. It's covered, so when it rained we did not get wet at all. We stayed for several hours and they generously moved us to a high top table when our table became needed for another reservation. Had a great time!
The place was so so the service was a work in progress. I understand this is most likely due to COVID but I hope that in the future they can turn it around.
Once again an outstanding meal. Love the paella!
It was a birthday dinner and probably the best meal I have had in decades. The paella was divine.
Excellent food - loved the paella! Friendly servers. Lovely outdoor seating.
Love this restaurant in general. On most recent visit, paella and starters were fantastic, as was the atmosphere. Service was perfunctory bordering on rude, not to mention impatient. Didn't go out of her way *at all* to acknowledge the special occasion we mentioned multiple times. Also, online menu didn't match up to actual daily offering. We're regulars, so will be back, but our particular veteran waitstaffer needs a kick in the pants around customer service.
It was fabulous! This dinner to say So Long to my Dear Seattle Friends was wonderful, and I appreciate everyone’s hard work in making the whole experience a HUGE SUCCESS...SPECIAL SHOUT OUTS to Ryan and Edward Timothy! 😁😁😁
The staff were pleasant. The food was just okay. We got two egg dishes. I thought it was expensive, especially since the food was just ok. I won’t go back.
Went for a birthday celebration and a glass of Prosecco arrived at our table gratis. The plates were excellent and especially enjoyed the duck confit which was as beautifully tender as any I’ve had.
Great environment, nice staff. Menu sounds great but the taste didn't blow my mind for the price, drinks or food. Not enough crostinis for the grapes dish - that felt like a joke. The rooftop is the best part.
I enjoy brunch here but the dinner was not good. I brought an out of town guest and was embarrassed by the choice. The octopus salad was extremely tough, the fries were not crisp, and the boar entree was extremely salty. Service was ok but not great.
I’ve been to Terra Plata many times and it has never disappointed. This trip was as excellent as always
We recently had our anniversary dinner at Terra Plata. The service was amazing front to back, the food was incredible and diverse and fresh, and the restaurant really understands the little touches that elevate an experience.
Would highly recommend for any casual or special meal!
Food was not as good as I recall pre pandemic.
Came here to celebrate a friends birthday! The service was outstanding and they also gave the whole table complimentary drinks for the birthday girl! Would definitely recommend coming! The views were also really pretty:)
The menu was interesting with some unique choices - everything we had was good. Ambience was fine, except we were seated right beneath one of the speakers so the music was too loud at our table. Also, the service was friendly but slow - possibly they were short-staffed on the Memorial Day holiday? I had to go find our waiter to get my check. But overall it was a nice experience - a bit on the pricey side, but we would go back.
Great personalized service. Food was good but not what I’m used to getting from this restaurant.
I love coming here. The food was not as good as I remember this time around, but still a solid option and will continue to dine here.
I was turned off by the political statements in lobby.
Wonderful food, great service. Enjoyed eating one of our first post-pandemic meals out. Pricy but welcome to Seattle. Small menu but enough choices for the picky eater.
Alli was thee most delightful server. Food was delicious and served in a reasonable amount of time.
Bit expensive, but overall good value and very pleasant staff and ambiance.
