Ambience, Service and Food was excellent
Did not feel rushed even on Valentines Day inspire of the fact the restaurant was overflowing with guests
My reservation was at 7:45pm. When we arrived we were told they overbooked and did get seated until 8:15pm. There were s number of couples that had earlier reservations but were still waiting. I suggested to the receptionist that they offer appetizers to all the waiting couples. She said she would check with her Manager but no follow through?
I had a 7:15 reservation as we were not seated until 8. The guests were very rude and loud to everyone including the staff around us which disturbed the overall ambiance. The kitchen forgot about our food and we were barely eating at 9:30, the food was okay but not worth the price. By the time we left the restaurant it was nearly 10:15. When I found out that we had to order from a Valentine’s menu that cost $69 a person, I tried to cancel and was told no due to it being lazy minute. I understood that, but having to wait 45 minutes to finally be seated and not to get any type of discount or free beverages seemed unreasonable. We have been to Tera Mia before and really enjoyed it and thought the food was delicious, but do not plan on coming back for a Valentines dinner.
Was crowded but it was valentines day. They were running a little behind but they were so polite and professional that we didn't mind. And the food. My goodness the food was amazing
The food is great but it is abit pricey on Valentine’s Day
A really nice neighborhood find away from the Livermore Main st parking grind.
Solid classic Italian meal choices. Close tables but still not too loud for intimate conversations. We'll be back.
Over-priced for quality of food. One of the worst dishes of pesto pasta I have ever eaten.
Have been to the rest. five times and have never been disappointed. Always good!
The restaurant was larger than we expected and nice ambiance. However, we found it to be a little dark and quite loud. Service was very good and staff was friendly. Text on the menu was small and hard to read, especially with the low lighting. Food was okay - nothing special. The prices weren't horrible, but given the overall value for us, we will not be back.
Terra Mia's cuisine was excellent on our first visit and continues to improve with each successive dinner we enjoy there. Even old standards reveal particular attention. For example, gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce were surprising because the gorgonzola does not dominate but instead lets other flavors come through as well. The caponata Siciliana is as robust and authentic as you could hope for. The veal saltimbocca balances the many components more gracefully than in other Italian restaurants
The service is friendly and attentive. Everyone is part of a team that focuses on your comfort and pleasure. Most special requests are cheerfully accommodated.
Terra Mia is not nearby for us, but the dining experience assures us that it is always worth the drive.
