Homemade potato dumplings served in imported gorgonzola cheese sauce
Romaine salad heart with homemade Caesar dressing (made with raw eggs)
Sliced tomato, fresh mozzarella, e.v. olive oil and fresh basil
Great service and delicious food! We ate outside and it was perfect!
Great food ... but very noisy! The Veal was superb and the sauce was fantastic. one of the best I've ever had!
We have been going to Terra mia for years. They never disappoint. Classic Italian restaurant. I think maybe the best restaurant in Livermore.
My wife and I totally enjoyed the food, the service and ambiance. Great evening.

Had a wonderful time with friends. The food was delicious and the perk was having Giacomo as our waiter. Enjoyed speaking Italian with him!
We went in for dinner last night and were very disappointed! We talked this place up and brought our friends for his birthday and it was a total let down! Our server was not good, the food was just ok and they didn’t even acknowledge our friends birthday after we told the server that’s why we were there while others were being acknowledged. I would have complained but I didn’t want to further ruin the evening. Very disappointed in this.
I had not been to Terra Mia for a while but a light bulb went off and I decided to try it again. I had the MOST delicious spinach and ricotta ravioli and my friend pronounced his lasagna excellent. I appreciated our attentive waiter and gave a thumbs up to the old school waiter attire. All in all a very enjoyable experience and we will be back soon.
Three of us had the special three course prix fixe dinner on Sat, Feb 15. Several starters, entrees, and desserts to choose from. We chose three different salads and all were very good. For entrees we chose salmon and brazen, which were fresh and of excellent quality, beautifully prepared and presented, and very delicious. The tiramisu was, as always, excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive without intruding. My only quibble is that we would have liked some bread to soak up the last bits of sauce.
We love to come here. One of the better places, good food, good service. Also good cocktails.
Best Restaurant in the Tri valley area. Food is unbelievable, such original Italian Food, with delicious authentic flavor of Italy. Service is impeccable. One the best food experience you will have.
Unfortunately, my pesto pasta was inedible. Dessert was ok though.
Great atmosphere and food was exceptional! Highly recommend this place for any occasion.
Valentine’s Day is a busy evening at restaurants and terra Mia handled it beautifully, they had plenty of staff on hand with a parred down menu (8-10 choices of each) for 55.00 for an appetizer, entrée and a dessert and a long stemmed red rose for the ladies. It was a wonderful evening.
Great price fixe menu with good variety. Great service even on Valentine’s Day!
Time and time again, Terra Mia is the best restaurant in Livermore!!!
I had a business lunch at Terra Mia. I chose Terra Mia because I was there before and it was very good. This time was also very good. My server David was wonderful. He was attentive but not obtrusive. He was also knowledgeable and informative on what was available that day. The food was excellent and the next time I am in Livermore I will dine at Terra Mia. I would recommend this restaurant.
Being seated in the back room enhanced our dining experience. It is so much easier to converse during dinner when you can hear each other talk. Especially appreciated for those who don’t hear well.
Dinner and service were excellent!
Lovely restaurant, but deafeningly loud at dinner, mostly due to its very high ceilings. We 3 had trouble hearing one another. The food was good and our waitress did a fabulous job getting us out under a time constraint, but I wouldn't return due to the noise.
We go to Terra Mia at least once a month for “date night”
We enjoy the ambiance, service and delicious food choices.
Service is always top notch!!!!
Would highly recommended.
We visited from Kansas City and felt like Italian food. As a gal born and raised in an Italian family I can say that Terra Mia is very authentic. The marinara sauce was perfect , not to sweet. The gnocchi gorgonzola was to die for. When the say the gnocchi is home made they really mean it. Excellent meal!
Met friends from Brentwood here for lunch, they loved it and said they will definitely be back.
One of the few nice restaurants in town that is NOT a chain. So over chain restaurants!
All I can say is we LOVE Terra Mia! Been going there for years! Everyone we take there/tell about it loves it too.
Food is so fresh and made to order. Delicious too. I pretty much ALWAYS order the Gnocchi Gorgonzola. My Italian friend says it’s better than her nonni’s! Gnocchi is the perfect texture-not gummy-and the Gorgonzola sauce is deliciouso! Salads are so fresh, great deserts too. Great wine list and specialty cocktails.
It’s in an unusual location—a little strip mall—but once you’re inside you’re totally transported. A big, cozy fireplace, intimate seating and large, private rooms for special occasions.
Try it, you won’t be disappointed. You’ll come away satisfied and happy.
When I arrived my guests were already seated. there had been a mix-up on the meeting time. However the staff had already started my guests which was great. I really liked how discrete the staff was in getting my order and how they served me without disturbing our conversation. The food was also very good.
This was our first time here, we pick the location because the rating. Overall we were please with everything but we didn’t not like being pressured to leave, it was a ladies night out and wanted to have a nice dinner without rushing to catch up after the holidays. The waiter gave us our bill without asking, as soon as we gave him the credit card he took it run it and never came back to see if we need it anything else. We had to ask a helper to serve us some water. I can maybe understand that if there were people waiting for a table or if they were closing but neither one was the case. Otherwise I would have given them a 5 star.
Our server was Christine - she was excellent. No complaints there.
My husband and I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and the special, which was a thick noodle pasta with loads of mushrooms and a cream sauce. I’m not kidding when I say that the Chicken Parmesan tasted like a chicken nugget with ketchup on top. It was served with ‘seasonal vegetables’ instead of the traditional pasta (no biggie) but the vegetables were all limp and just super sad looking/tasting. I wouldn’t have expected this as it was on their specials menu. The mushroom pasta was fine - the mushrooms all turned black upon cooking and it just looked super unappetizing. I ate as much of it as I could but it just wasn’t my favorite.
We also ordered the strawberry gelato and tiramisu for dessert, and both were delicious.
We will go back for sure, just won’t be ordering these dishes ever again.
High quality cuisine, attentive service most of the evening, high corkage charge for non-Livermore wines, very busy and annoyingly noisy off and on during the evening.
Food was excellent. Tortellini,Pesto Pasta Primavera, Chicken Saltimbocca,Garlic Bread. Service a bit slow as others have commented on. Garlic Bread came out after our entrees. Chocolate cake desert was sooo wonderful.
The food was ok. I thought it was way over priced for the quality. Service was good, but like I said very expensive and the food was average at best
New Year’s Eve. Always great service Crab spaghetti , kinda boring ... I’m Italian , I like my pasta with a bit more wow factor , I almost asked for a side of garlic . ( But my friend loved it ) Overall it’s a nice restaurant and nice choices.
Calamari was rubbery. Have tried it a few times over the years. It’s consistently meh. Spaghetti didn’t taste homemade. Kind of a bummer. Salmon and black rice was really great though. Overall it was a “just ok” $200 meal for two adults and a 7-year old.
I have mixed feelings, granted it was New Years Eve, my issue is mainly with not the food it was good, I ordered Pork Ossobuco, I ate half and saved half of it for New Years day, meaning that I ate one and expected to have one for New Years day. When I opened the take out box, there were non, just left over Polenta. I would like to think this was a mistake, but it was an very expensive meal for just one pork shank. I will see if I get a re ponce, or maybe even call, but it still leaves a distrust feeling within me.
Great place, quiet atmosphere, fabulous food!
This is my 2nd time here. And overall I liked everything, I just found that my pizza was not as crispy as I would have liked it to be or had last time I was at Terra Mia. I'm a pizza snob, having grown up in New York but it was still good. I loved our waitress. She was so personable and very attentive to our party.
Two people, who both regularly have the lasagna, thought it was quite salty that night.
Poor service very slow appetizer order took forever, still the same slow service when they just opened
My daughter and I have been coming here for the last 4 years before every Nutcracker performance. We generally have a good experience and really enjoyed the food. However, tonight was disappointing. The spaghetti bolognese was very salty. My son's rigatoni was very salty as well and the past was too hard. Our waiter seemed a lot happier assisting other customers than us. LOL. I dont think we will be going there again.
Lovely quaint place, only misstep was we had to ask for bread, other than that the food was good and very lively, little hard to have conversation. Desert was eh ok, for frozen cheesecake.
Our favorite spot in Livermore!!! Lamb chops and the Pinot noir is to die for!!!
