At Terra Mia Restaurant ("my land" in Italian) we carefully prepare our dishes using only the freshest ingredients. Our food is made from scratch, like the trattorias and ristorantes in the South of Italy. We make all efforts to purchase organic and locally grown produce and meats, to preserve the flavor and quality of our dishes. We strongly support the SLOW FOOD movement organization, which began in Italy in 1986. The nature of this group is to protect cultural identities linked to food and traditions. Also, for our customers to "slow down" and learn to enjoy meals while spending quality time with family and loved ones. We are located in the Chardonnay Shopping Center near downtown Livermore and popular wineries. Owned and operated by first generation Italians.

We have been going to Terra mia for years. They never disappoint. Classic Italian restaurant. I think maybe the best restaurant in Livermore.

We went in for dinner last night and were very disappointed! We talked this place up and brought our friends for his birthday and it was a total let down! Our server was not good, the food was just ok and they didn’t even acknowledge our friends birthday after we told the server that’s why we were there while others were being acknowledged. I would have complained but I didn’t want to further ruin the evening. Very disappointed in this.

I had not been to Terra Mia for a while but a light bulb went off and I decided to try it again. I had the MOST delicious spinach and ricotta ravioli and my friend pronounced his lasagna excellent. I appreciated our attentive waiter and gave a thumbs up to the old school waiter attire. All in all a very enjoyable experience and we will be back soon.

Three of us had the special three course prix fixe dinner on Sat, Feb 15. Several starters, entrees, and desserts to choose from. We chose three different salads and all were very good. For entrees we chose salmon and brazen, which were fresh and of excellent quality, beautifully prepared and presented, and very delicious. The tiramisu was, as always, excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive without intruding. My only quibble is that we would have liked some bread to soak up the last bits of sauce.

Best Restaurant in the Tri valley area. Food is unbelievable, such original Italian Food, with delicious authentic flavor of Italy. Service is impeccable. One the best food experience you will have.
