What a great find! My co-worker and I were here on business. You can't beat their Happy Hour prices. My co-worker and I shared the Terra Salad - absolutely scrumptious! So fresh and served with a beautiful vinaigrette ! The Mushroom Pizza was a delight to the palette! The flavor combination was delightfully delicious and the crust was perfect! Our server, Rachel , expertly guided us through the menu! Would definitely return when in the area!
The kale caesar is outstanding!
As is the pizza - love this place.
We've only come to Grand Rapids twice and have eaten here both times. When we find a place that has gluten free bread, pasta and pizza we love it. They even made a gf pizza for us with only goat cheese. The crust seems homemade and my kid ate the entire thing! Plus good grown up food, fun cocktails and outdoor seating.
Overall experience was wonderful. It took a while to get our first round of drinks at the beginning but otherwise the pace of the meal was great. Will definitely come back
We had a great meal except for the whitefish. It was dry and fishy. They were very kind and took it off the bill. If you go, get anything but that! It was otherwise delicious!
I really enjoy Terra, food is wonderful, menu is somewhat limited but usually something for everyone. Appreciate the farm to table done with flair. Great atmosphere.
Dined here three times and really enjoyed it. Weekly burger specials are fun and unusual. If you score a table near the chefs it's intriguing to watch them work. The whitefish was excellent.
We had a bigger party, and they accommodated us well. the food was great and our server was awesome.
LOVE CORY. best waiter there!
Asked for outdoor seating when I made reservations. Didn't get it.
Terra never disappoints! Wonderful selection of wine, cocktails & beers. I appreciate smaller menu options - everyone chose different meals & all were happy with their selections. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our women’s group enjoyed our gathering!
Awesome service from Erin, great creative drinks and food.
The food was great and our waiter Corey did a nice job of not being overbearing but still available. The only issue I had was I made a reservation days in advanced and when we arrived, the front staff tried to put us at a table in the corner next to the kitchen. I understand there is a flow of table setting, however, because I made a reservation, I felt it would have been nice to be sat initially at a nicer table. There were more table one table available as well, so it was just strange that she sat us at that table. Again, we had a great time with amazing food, just a small note for future reservation guests.
Food and service was okay, as expected. Menu somewhat limited. Some dishes too creative with unusual
combinations of ingredients. Overall, a good dinner; certainly not exceptional.
Service was very prompt with ambience of the venue perfect for a family night out.
too loud...we were at a round table and could not have a conversation with 5 people
We have been patrons for years and have enjoyed many menu items. However, the last visit was disappointing. Two of us asked server for wine sample to share. No joke- it was a tablespoon pour. Strange. Kale salads were sooo bland.
I eat gluten and dairy free and the two meals that my friend and I split were incredible!! I would definitely recommend this place.
I came into Terra for a business meeting with five co-workers and everything was perfect. Our server Christina Fox was attentive without hovering, very friendly and kept our waters and coffees full. She was pleasant and professional. The manager, Renee, was great and made sure everything was perfect. Overall, it was a great place to have a lunch meeting! Thank you to the entire staff!
Always amazing at Terra. The Chefs are charismatic, creative and good looking!!
Sunday brunch - Food was great. Service a little slow, but was very busy. Noise level made it a lot less enjoyable. We sat at the quietest corner table and still had too talk very loudly to hear each other.
Brunch with friends before volunteering.
Great food. We made a reservation and they were ready well before our scheduled time. Service was great. Most of our food was outstanding. Highly recommend!
Great restaurant. Food and service were amazing. It was a little loud, but it was a busy Saturday night so that's understandable. Highly recommend.
We had high hopes coming here. 3 in our party of 4 got the steak. 1 got the whitefish. Though the dishes tasted fine, I wouldn't say anything blew our socks off. I got the Gazelle salad. I know we as Americans typically douse our salads in dressing. While I wasn't expecting a bath of it, I did expect to at least taste the lemongrass dressing. Our service and servers were great; no complaints about that at all. The ambiance is great as well. I just expected the food to be more top notch.
It was kind of a celebratory event meeting my mentor in the film world at your fantastic restaurant. The quality of food and service was spot on. Looking forward to getting back to the GR area to check this place out again. Thanks for the time.
Bland food, okay wine, not knowledgeable staff, and plates that did not match even on the same dish. This place felt like someone from Michigan went to a nice new american restaurant in a major city and tried unsuccessfully to copy it.
Our waiter was very helpful...we all enjoyed our entrees...the mushroom pizza we shared as an appetizer was out of this world! We would definitely come back!
Terra is my favorite Grand Rapids brunch spot. The hair of the dog bowl and the grits are my current favorite menu items. The vibe is nice but casual, very welcoming. And if you catch a nice day, sit on the patio!
Double date on the patio! It was great
Great as always. Friendly and helpful service. Knowledgeable and safe handling of dishes for my gluten-free Celiac wife. Welcoming and friendly to my young children. Delicious food and drinks. Great happy hour specials. What more could you ask for? This continues to be my favorite restaurant in Grand Rapids for any and all occasions.
There was some confusion on the Mother's Day Brunch and the regular brunch/dinner menu. The menu was not at all what we expected. We arrived 20 minutes early for our reservation but ended up waiting a total of 45 minutes to be seated. The overall service was good and so was the food. A little pricy for breakfast food.
Everything was absolutely wonderful!!! The brunch menu at Terra is written where dreams are made and the preparations are perfect. My favorite restaurant in all of Grand Rapids, since the day it opened its doors at Trillium Haven!!
We have been to Terra a few times over the years and it does not disappoint. We had a great server who recommended the right things -- and was very friendly + efficient. The food was delicious and the cocktail of the night/week/month (whatever it was) was amazing.
The ambiance was great as well.
Will go back there again soon!
Celebrating Mother's Day a day early. Our server Cory was great! The wait for our drinks was a little long. Our salads and pizzas were excellent, as were the desserts! We will be back 😋
We waited 45minutes for our food (breakfast). Is this typical? We have been there for lunch and dinner and did not have that kind of wait time however we have been there one other time for breakfast and we also waited a very long time. It seems to be just with breakfast. Not sure what the issue is.?
Went here before a concert . Service was great, and kept our timing in mind. The food and cocktails were unique and delicious. Would definitely recommend!
Ok food, terrible cocktails, nice place. 50 characters needed.
