Always great food and great service! Always a joy to eat there for dinner. Will keep coming back.
Exceptional service - could not have been more attentive. Lamp chops were sublime. Steak au pointe also delicious. Highly recommended for a night out in the Vail Valley.
Love this restaurant, never disappoints! Delicious food and nice ambiance!
The menu is full of things that blend traditional elements with unusual spices. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
What a breath of fresh air! Excellent food, creative preparations, great service and they make it clear they are grateful for your patronage. From a typically-picky diner come only high praises for Terra. Not to be missed when in Vail.
Very good service with a NYC date that can be demanding. Food was also excellent. Lamb chop cooked perfectly. Date had trout and really like it. I thought my bite was more fishy than I like but I'm not a trout person. I had not been for dinner in several years and it was a good as I remember. It's a pricey but then again it is in Vail.
Wonderful, warm feeling, friendly, great food.
Tony at the host stand is awesome. He is consistently friendly and positive. This was the second time in a row after dining over several years here that we could not say the same about the wait staff. Also, like our previous experience, the food was not that warm and the portion size of the flatiron chicken was very slight. Finally, we were very turned off by the note in the menu and the line on credit card receipt for tipping the kitchen. We tip our wait staff generously unless not treated reasonably well. Asking for people to tip on top of the dinner cost and the server seems like all the restaurant cares about is getting every single dollar out of the customer they can. This creates an uncomfortable evening. We will not be back for some time.
Food was good, but I wouldn't order the very expensive wagyu steak: too chewy.
One of our favorite restaurants in vail. From Tony from Philly at the front desk, to the succulent meal and great service. We typically hit it twice a vacation.
Was very nice tourist there but they gave us an amazing table.
Fabulous food , excellent wine list , friendly staff , very pretty setting , attentive service
Really wonderful food - our group of seven had a lot of different entrees, salads, etc - they all were delicious. Several mentioned that it could have been a best meal ever.
It’s always hot so just don’t wear turtleneck cashmere sweaters!!
Always come here when in town, for my B-day. Service usually quick, unless very busy. Could be loud. Food always great. Highly recommend.
We wanted a special night out in Vail and accomplished with our dinner at TB. Food was wonderful and so was the service. Highly recommend.
Outstanding from start to finish
We always have happy people attending to us, a pleasure to dine there!
Fantastic dining experience. I wouldn’t do a filet again but would stay in the wheel well of healthy choices. Scallops!
Nos recibieron excelente y la atención durante toda la cena fue excelente
Sirvieron la comida rápido y deliciosa!!
Great food and staff!!! Thank you for a memorable dining experience.
Terrible Bistro. Was the chef incapacitated the night we were there and the dishwasher stepped in? They murdered a simple dish of shishito peppers by drowning them in a cloying sauce that had to be scraped off. The sashimi/tartare dish was bland and uninspired. The worst may have been their warm kale salad which was inedible - did anyone in the kitchen actually taste it? Was it even kale? How can a kitchen mess up sautéed broccolini?! I mean really... I might have thought this was an isolated bad night but, after sharing our experience, many friends and family reported the same. Some friends, eh? They should have warned us!
Terra Bistro is slipping. What was creative small plates and reasonable prices is now ordinary and pricey. Forget the trout unrecognizable beneath mediocre crust. My lunch trout at Simple in Buena Vista was a ten, tonight’s trout barely four.
We had an early reservation and were catching up with some old friends. We have been many times to this restaurant over the years, but were a little let down by the food this time. It seems to be slipping. I had the trout which was bland and unexciting. My wife had the lamb which was good but not memorable. We expected more from Terra Bistro, but were feeling a little underwhelmed. The service was cheerful, helpful and timely, but it didn't make up for the food.
Amazing customer service! The food was crazy delicious!
It was good. Overpriced.
We ate here twice in one week in Vail. The service was exquisite and the food fantastic. This is a great restaurant.
Seems to be slipping. Better experience in prior years. Seated in back room with great fireplace but atmosphere ruined by large group with obnoxiously loud, probably inebriated, member of same group who kept shouting throughout evening. Many great wine choices but food lacked usual quality.
Will probably skip return - sadly after many prior enjoyable experiences. Waitress, Katie, was a highlight.
Have been eating there for years. Always great !!
Great dinner at Terra Bistro with an excellent server. We have been coming to the Vail Valley for years and had never eaten at Terra. Will certainly be back!
Excellent service and food. Cannot go wrong.
Underwhelming. Service was inattentive and food was very bland. So many better places to go in Vail.
Vacation dining with 3 children; excellent food & service but with a high price tag
El servicio es muy lento. No te llevan pan para botanea y tarda mucho en traer los platos de comida
Very slow service. It took the waiter 15 minutes just to take our drink order. No heads-up, no recognition of a delay or apology... a little acknowledgement can go a long way.
Winderful service and imaginative dishes. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options and everything was delicious! Especially liked the mushroom curry and trout.
Bad service, poor recommendations on entres...food pooly prepared...not what I expected and surely will not return
Seemed like a little too much/many Asian inspired dishes/accompaniments, not enough variety, but flavors are delicious and rich without being too heavy, as you would expect from a bistro style place. Great wine list. I would go back.
we were there for our 40th anniversary . We ask to be placed not close to kids. The table they gave us was next to a couple with a long girl. Our waiter took our order, and I asked for a desert menu, which he brought. He told us one item took approximately 15 minutes to prepare. Another server brought our meals. which required a steak knife. That arrived 5 minutes later. The waiter asked us once how our meal was and never came back until I asked the server for the waiter. We then order our desert, I felt since I asked for desert menu he should have asked if we wanted the desert that took long to prepare before we were done we our meal. I did tell the waiter I felt he was ignoring us, and to his credit he did tell his manager. She came to our table to find out what was wrong and did add a second waiter to our table for the desert that did come out in only 10 minutes. For the price and reputation I expected better service.
