It was great but the waiter pretty much refused to refill my lemonade lol. Not verbally but he came and went the whole meal with my glass sitting empty. We took bets on whether he’d ever offer to refill it (obviously I wasn’t too Thirsty/concerned) he never did. The font have bread and butter but only these cauliflower crackers and chickpea spread. My dining partner wasn’t a fan AT ALL. The food/appetizer/entree was Absolutely delicious. Perfect 10.
My desert, the blueberry cornbread cake, was super dry and tasteless. So that was a bummer. But my girlfriends desert was fantastic. So all in all, not a bad meal at all for $118.
This is a top 5 restaurant I have eaten at any where in the world I have been. I have been here twice now and the food was impeccable each time. Everything, from the appetizer to the main course to the side items to the dessert are to die for. This place is a hidden gem!
Outstanding experience. My entire party was gluten free and it was awesome to be pointed at the two or three things on the menu that were NOT gluten free, meaning the rest of the menu was fair game! I highly recommend this place to anyone going to Vail.
Wonderful early evening dining experience. We celebrated the 50th anniversary of our wedding engagement. The real 50th will be next April. Food and service was excellent. We will be back before then....!
Great service. Amazing food.
This is a wonderful place. The server was engaging, knowledgeable and very helpful. The food was awesome, creative and tastefully presented and prepared. Would strongly recommend it
Tuna poke - great.
Mahi-mahi - amazing
Salmon - a little dry
My husband and I enjoyed our visit to Terra Bistro. We dined there during Restaurant Week, and found it to be an incredible value with their special pricing. We found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, relaxed ambiance, and food tasty. My only suggestion would be to add a little culinary flair to both taste and appearance of the mashed potatoes. All in all, we both thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Terra Bistro.
Terrific place - excellent food! However, we had a 7:15 reservation and by that time two of the steak dishes were no longer available. Very disappointing, and it happened to be 20.19 week. Hmmm
Terra Bistro used to be one of our favorite restaurants until a year ago when a waiter wanted to charge us extra for an item included in the price of our dinner. He was very unpleasant when we disagreed with him. We decided to return last Saturday evening because the menu was inviting. All went well until we received the check only to discover we were being charged extra for the olives in our martinis!!! We are glad we checked the bill before submitting our credit card. We have never been charged extra for olives in a martini anywhere in the world. We complained and the extra charge was removed, but the ambiance of the evening was spoiled.
Best meal I’ve had in a very long time! Outstanding service (waiter Rylee), very accommodating with our toddler, and fantastic food
Service was excellent. It was restaurant week so entrees were priced economically, so that was a nice surprise. The food was ok.
We went to Terra Bistro during restaurant week, so they were offering great deals. Had an early dinner which helped keep the noise down. Our favorite part was the appetizer, Baked Ricotta.
Excellent food and excellent service. A benchmark in Vail.
Always love eating here when in town visiting our family. The food is delicious, excellent service and best of all the noise level is low enough that you can hear everyone in your party talk without having to raise your voice.
A true hidden gem in Vail! Took my mom there for her birthday during restaurant week and everything was wonderful, from the food to service and overall experience! Highly recommended!!
Very good food the restaurant itself was very calming n our waiter was outstanding
We love to come back to Terra Bistro every time we are in the area. Great food and alcohol selection. Kind of kid-friendly considering that the 15-month old was playing around all over the place.
Wonderful food, great service, and attention to detail!! Highly recommend eating here!!
Food was unfortunately not good
Hard to recommend this restaurant only for the fact that it's really overpriced. I expect to pay more in Vail but considering the small amount of food we got and the overpriced bill, I'd have to say I wouldn't return. The food was very good but I need to feel that I got some value which I did not.
In Vail for a week - wedding anniversary - and a friend who has owned a condo for many years highly recommended Terra Bistro. Wonderful dining experiences. Anniversary celebrated one evening and returned the next day to gorge on several appetizers and a couple of special cocktails. Staff was knowledgable and offered good suggestions (something other than “this is popular” which means nothing to me). It’s all about the taste and pleasant knowledgable staff. Terra Bistro scores big.
Great experience and a wonderful meal. Went for our anniversary and it was fantastic!
Our favorite place in Vail! Always great service and food!!
GREAT. we had an early reservation and noticed that the restaurant was getting pretty noisy when we left.
Food wasn’t as good as in the past. The tofu curry bowl was super garlicky!
For the price not too bad but wasn’t really overly impressed with the food. Everything was dry. Just not much flavor. Great service. Dinning area was blah compared to the bar area.
Terra Bistro lived up to its longtime reputation for excellent food, service and ambiance. We recommended it to our out of town friends who treated us to a delicious dinner and all of us thoroughly enjoyed it!
The food was fantastic but we had a very weird encounter with a wedding party gone wrong and one of the worst screams I’ve ever heard.
Our server dropped the ball big time and forgot to ring in our soup and two of our drinks. No manager ever came by to check on things.
Would go back for the food for sure but throughly disappointed in the service...
Food outstanding...service was excellent...worth visiting everytime here in Vail
It was great
We laughed after dinner because the entire dinning experience was so awkward! After being ushered to our table and being told numerous times that it had been reserved and saved just for us by the hostess and we owe the table to the hostess...our waiter tells me I’m a spitting image of his mother. I’m 35! And this guy had to be around my age. I thought it was a joke and then we all quickly realized he was very serious. Was brought up numerous times! The fried oysters were completely tasteless...we barely ate them and the waiter never asked why we hadn’t touched the plate. They were eventually comped which was nice. Drinks were great. Food was okay. Atmosphere was sparse yet stuffy. No mountain vibe at all. We got a good laugh...and can say we tried it.
Outstanding!! Our waitress was so enthusiastic about everything on the menu, it made me want to order it all!!
Lobster dish was amazing, Don’t waste your time on the Mac N Cheese
The food and the waiter were brilliant. We were seated in the smaller, back room, however, where another party was extremely loud and boisterous. Our efforts to speak with the hostess proved furtive, as she was focused entirely on making sure that we understood that there was nothing that she could do about the situation, rather than make any effort to address the situation in a graceful. An offer of a complimentary drink or dessert or maybe even a simple acknowledgement that this was an unfortunate situation were among her options. But, this "hostess" would have none of it, making her irritation at our expression of concern quite apparent. Without her, this would have been our best meal in Vail this year. With her, we are uncertain that we will return to the restaurant on our next visit, the fabulous food notwithstanding.
The appetizers, entrees and sides were absolutely outstanding. The desserts were just ok.
Our waiter Ilya was great. Very good good and cocktails.
Our party had a variety of dishes and they were all excellent, as was the service!
This was our second year in a row to celebrate our anniversary there. It was a perfect evening.
