Tequila Ranch is a cozy restaurant and bar that specializes in Mexican cuisine and a wide range of specialty cocktails. The restaurant is conveniently located in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel. Tequila Ranch features a few different dining areas, a large bar, a dance floor for live music nights and a mechanical bull for entertainment. The dining areas are casual and decorated with bright colors and unique chandelier lighting.
Start off with an appetizer like homemade salsa with warm tortilla chips, tableside guacamole, Yucatan-style seafood salad, red snapper ceviche or tostadas de spicy tinga. For the main course at Tequila Ranch choose from a variety of enchiladas, fajitas, tacos and entrées. Entrée dishes include dishes like diablo shrimp, pollo con mole verde, Merida-style cochinita pibil, pork carnitas and the Manchego burger served with seasoned fries.
T he yellow rice was not good at all. Had no flavor and was too soft. for the quality of the food, I think that you charge way too much. i would think twice before coming here again. not on the top of my list as TO GO TOU PLACES
This place used to be s lot better. The quality of food has declined. The menu is extremely limited and a bit pricey for what you get. There is a $3 charge for chips and salsa where pretty much every Mexican restaurant gives them for free. Our food came out cold and we sent it back. They did make it fresh, but it still was not the best. We ate very little and paid a lot.
Terribly greasy food, slow service, overpriced (even for the hard rock).
The Menu we were given at the restaurant was not the same as the one posted on their website. The manager said that they have been asking Open Table to update it, without results.
Either way, we went expecting a dinner menu but were offered only a very limited bar type menu.
Food was basic taco and burritos fare. Not sure who is at fault for this 'bait and switch, but we are not happy. We won't go back.
Experience was good. Just be aware that the house made guacamole is NOT included with the chips & salsa that is brought out to the table. There is a separate $15 charge for the "House-Made Guacamole". They way it was presented to us was, "would you like house made guacamole? It comes with the chips & salsa." And yes, they are not lying. They restaurant does bring out all the ingredients to make the guacamole in front of your table at the same time the chips & salsa are brought out to the table as well. Therefore they are not lying to you by saying the guacamole comes with the chips & salsa. They are just forgetting to mention one important detail, that you will be charged separately for it. Take into consideration though, if you do like guacamole enough to eat an entire bowl of it, then you should maybe consider ordering it. It did have a very good taste to it.
Best guac ever! Service is beyond amazing!
They were out of everything. Food was so so. I would not eat here again.
Food was average for mexican food. Service was horrbile. Hardly saw our waitress, had to go to the bar to get my own drinks.
No points no feedback .............@#########@#@###@@@@@@@###########÷.................
It was too noisy to hold a conversation, the service was poor -- and slow -- and the food was mediocre at best -- meat was tough and over-cooked, and not well-flavored. Prices are high.
Limited menú when concerts are in town. So, do not expect anything from menu posted on open table .
We were going to a show at Hard Rock live so this restaurant was very convenient. The food was very good. We had the fajitas. The atmosphere is nothing special
I felt compelled to write a review after reading some really critical reviews on this site. First, I have to remind those who say it's not authentic Mexican that we are at the Hard Rock! If you want authentic Mexican there are plenty of places to go to get it, but a tourist mecca like Hard Rock probably aint where you want to go! With that being said, the soft tacos I had with the skirt steak were awesome, and tasted as Mexican as I could have hoped for. The guacamole was made fresh at the table, and while it is a simple dish, it's hard to argue that any other Mexican restaurant would make it any differently. As far as price, again this restaurant is in the Hard Rock. If you are looking for value, go down the road just a few miles and you will find lots of cheap authentic Mexican restaurants. I went to Tequila Ranch on Valentine's day before the Andrea Bocelli concert, and I specifically went there because a few years ago that's where my GF and I first ate on our first date. The food and service was good then and it was just as I remembered this time around too! So if you want some good food and are willing to pay a little more for the ambiance and atmosphere, then ignore the bad reviews and try Tequila Ranch. Some people are just hard to please!
I have been to your restaurant at least six other times--it has always been the restaurant that my girlfriend and I enjoyed whenever we went to the Hard Rock Cafe for a concert. No longer! this time (we were at the Hard Rock for Andrea Bocelli on Saturday, the 13th) we were sorely disappointed. The quality of the food has gone down--especially when you pose as a "Mexican" restaurant and then use baked beans instead of refried beans. My girlfriend ordered chicken fajitas--I ordered "carnitas" which were good and plentiful, but they came with a very little amount of rice--and--baked beans. We were both very disappointed and I told my girlfriend that the next time that we are at a concert at the Hard Rock Cafe we will find a different restaurant to eat at before the show.
Food was terrible and the service was non-existent. Taco Bell is much better.
Amazing.. Highly Recommended and wait staff on point and awesome!!
Stopped in for a pre-show meal after reviewing their online menu that looked good. Found that they substitute a vastly reduced menu (presented on a single sheet of copy paper) on show nights. Basically quick bites. We did not stay.
If you consider this restaurant on show nights remember, limited menu.
We ordered steak fajitas, which were really good. Service was great!
Made reservations, didn't need them, perhaps 3 other dining tables occupied. Expected at least Spanish music, loud American pop-rock. Food and service was excellent. Thought the ambience would be authentic - it was not. We had a great time anyway.
We were a party of five. We enjoyed the table side made guacamole and ceviche for appetizers. BotH were excellent!! Margaritas were delicious Don and Golden! I had the fish special with salsa and grilled veggies! My husband loved his skirt steak. Everyone loved their meAls
My family went on on off-night - the place was dead (only 3-4 other tables occupied). The service was good, our server was attentive and the food was ok. We had various items, including chips and salsa (which you are charged $3 for - never seen that before at a Tex-Mex place). Margaritas were good, but $50 a pitcher really adds up. Ceviche was the highlight app. At the end of the night, I could have spent $300 for dinner elsewhere and had a very good experience, rather than an ok meal.
Located outside the Hard Rock Casino, this Mexican restaurant serves decent food, but the service is slow as it appears there are too many tables for the servers. Better to dine outside when the the weather permits, as there is good people watching. Not worthy as a destination for a mexican meal, but OK if your there for other entertainment.
Great food and drinks! Loved the Ruby Rita and the fajitas so much we came back the next night and were so glad we got the same server!!!!!
Subpar food and service.
Our waitress was nice but the food was gross. We started with the guacamole that is prepared table side but they must have kept the avocados in the fridge because they were cold which made the guacamole not very tasty. The main meal was even grosser. We still tipped the waitress well because it's not her fault but we will not be going back.
My friend and I got 2 drinks a piece and a platter of nachos that were 19.00. Our bill was over 60.00. I think that is ridiculous for what we ordered. The drinks were ok but very pricey. The nachos were no better than what you could get at Moe's Southwest grill. Save your money and eat somewhere else before going to the Hard Rock Casino.
We could not see the fight. However, we had a pleasant time.
We had a good time. Great food vert accommodating to groups. Fast service good drinks overall a great time.
We chose this place to go out for my friend's birthday, mainly because it is located at the Hard Rock. The food took FOREVER to come out and it wasn't that great, certainly overpriced for what you get. I'll not return to this place
Always a good time at the Hard Rock scene. This eatery is right in the middle of all the action and ample outdoor seating is always a good time. The menu is very limited but the food is good. It is my got to place when I am at the Hard Rock for an event. Probably would not go out of my way to go there otherwise. Nothing exceptional.
I can't rate the food, we never got served! We made a 5:30 reservation and arrived early. We told the hostess we would be at the bar waiting. We went back to her after 15 minutes and were seated. She apologized saying they had just gotten a large group of people in and it may be a few minutes. Tables were seated in front of us, in back of us, and along side of us, and ALL were served. We stopped a server and asked her who was taking care of our table and she informed us she would find out. After sitting there a full 30 minutes we got up, told the hostess what had happened and left!
We will NEVER go back there again!
The service was great, very vibrant atmosphere. Our waitress Ember was very efficient and a pleasure to be served by.
This restaurant needs an update. The food was average at best and the service was OK. If you want to 9vercharge for food because you are associated with the Hard Rock at least make it memorable.
Our waitress was great! Food was awesome, fast and quality! Thanks for a great evening on Halloween!
The ambiance definitely had a Mexican flavor and the fresh guacamole was delicious!
I went here for my bachelorette party dinner and it was so much fun. The waiter David was awesome, very friendly and his service was amazing! I would definitely go back there even if I wasn't in a big group.
After describing how to prepare nachos with shredded cheese 3x and quest on side it still was delivered the 2nd time incorrectly. It ended up not being a positive experience but had to get to a show
I made a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday. I could tell he was disappointed by his facial expression. We ended up having drinks and walking over to Bongos. This restaurant is okay if you're doing something with friends. I don't recommend this restaurant for romantic dinners.
Friday night date night with my wife. Atmosphere was good, service was ok and food was good. If we are craving Mexican food again we will return.
