Tequila Factory Ratings and Reviews
Great Tequila selection, something like 60 different brand/types. I was a little disappointed that there were not more non-enchilada/taco/burrito selections. I ordered the Carne Asada which is supposed to be, and is described as, thin-sliced steak; it was about 1.5 inches thick. My wife's beef fajitas had large chunks of steak that were too large to be wrapped in a tortilla so she ate it as a regular dish.
We made a reservation, figuring that with 6,500 people coming for a Toby Keith concert, they would be booked tight. Should have suspected something when we got the time we wanted and the place was virtually empty when we got there. We ordered margaritas, which were un-drinkable. I chose the taco/salad bar (without looking beforehand) and it was inedible. My date ordered something that I can't remember and it was so awful we had to call the host. He was very pleasant and apologetic and did not charge us anything (we had consumed one bite each and one sip each). Don't waste your time.
I showed up 5 minutes before my reservation time and they told me they overbooked even though I made the reservation 5 days prior. We did not get to sit with our whole party, walk-ins got seated before us, service was awful, food was cold, and just an overall bad time.
Food is not bad but service was really bad. We had a table for 12. Every time we ordered even a drink it took forever to get it, and food took at least 45 minutes to show up from the time we ordered. Nice place and location but has a lot of room for improvement.
It took forever for a waiter to take our order. They neglected to give us a drink menu. Food came fairly quickly and was good. Then it took forever to pay. Apparently they were having trouble with credit card machine so we ended up paying cash just so we could leave and get to our event on time.
If serve staff is busy they should at least come by and say they will be right with you or something, not just ignore you. If they are having problems with something they should come tell you right away, not ignore you and leave you wondering what is going on with your credit card. Better communication would have helped tremendously.
Service was bad...waitress got order wrong, drinks took 20 minutes, had 4 different servers including manager, check out was a nightmare and made us run late to a show we were attending. The cashier did not know how to charge the bill to two different cards. Waiters, bussers, hostess & manager was running around restaurant in total chaos. At one point the manager asked around whose rice bowl he was holding and I had to shout it was mine. Total mess. Never again!!!
The Tequila Factory is our go to place whenever we go to Casino Del Sol. They have a special where you buy a Patron' item and get a free taco. There taco's are incredible, and the staff couldn't be nicer. We have been here many times and have never been disappointed.
Most of the time we order the taco bar. This time it wasnt very good. No tortillas for soft tacos, the food was cold, looked like they pulled some hard tacos shells out of the box. The red and green chili was the best it has been lately but it wasnt warm either. We usually love the Tequila Factory but they missed the mark this time. We will continue to go back.
There were three in our party for a 5:15 PM reservation. The restaurant wasn't crowded and we all knew what we wanted to order so we did so immediately. Our dinners were not served until 5:45. That was the only negative to our dining experience. When our meals did arrive they were all hot and delicious and plentiful enough to require a take home container.
Unfortunately our dinner experience was not good. Asked for private area for dinner for 8, were put at first bench area next to reception. Restaurant wasn't overly busy. Food on taco bar was cold. Ordered dinners took an hour to get to table and most were cold. Staff was nice but the dining experience was not good.
Service was TERRIBLE. We made reservation for 5:45pm- were seated on time - but didn't receive our food until 6:50. And on top of that, one of our orders was "burned" so it took an additional 20 minutes to remake.
The excuse was that there was a concert event taking place and the kitchen got backed up; however there were open tables all over the restaurant!
Thankfully our server was sweet and comp'ed us the burned meal as well as 20% off for the excessive wait time, but I won't be returning back to that restaurant!
Casino restaurant. We were there before a big concert at that venue. So, they were very crowded, noisy, and service was a little slow because of that. But otherwise a 5 star review. Our food was quite good and our server when she freed up, took great care of us. We'll go back there for sure. It wouldn't hurt for management to bring in a couple of extra servers on concert nights.
The service was beyond poor. We waited almost 30 minutes for drinks and then were told that the food wait would be over 45 minutes. We ended up eating at the taco bar (which very much had the ambience of hospital food although tasted fine) just so we could make the concert time. Very disappointing because we had reservations and it was a birthday dinner.
Dine with you several times. I love your atmosphere and the food. But went last weekend my mother and daughter and her friend , requested a certain waitress and thru told me couldn't get her, would have the place was busy her, but it wasn't. Considering worked in the restaurant business , I understand you can make that request. But other than that always a good place to dine.
We had been to Tequila Factory before and had a positive experience -- but our last visit was, as Casino del Sol likes to say, legendary. The service was superb and the food was out of this world. (Maybe due to the new chef at CDS?) We especially enjoyed the dessert: freshly made churros with chocolate dipping sauce. We absolutely will go back again.
First off, when I called to let the restaurant know we were about 5 minutes off schedule - no one answered the phone. Then when we got there, the hostesses were unaware of our reservation and told us that we would "have to wait" and they "weren't taking any big parties right now". The 6 of us stood awkwardly in the front of the restaurant for about 15 minutes and then when we finally got to the table - they were not pushed together for us. The waitress clearly did not want to be working that night and made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. The food was decent but not explained clearly by the staff. I won't be going back.
Love this place! The brisket quesadillas melt in your mouth and are flavored perfectly. The menu has great options. Both visits the food has been GREAT! The pomegranate margarita is delicious, the prickly pear is refreshing and very southwest. I will be back and highly recommend this delicious place!
This restaurant is located in the Casino Del Sol Resort. We were there during the week, so it was not crowded. I had a chicken taco with rice and my husband had a spicy brisket taco with rice and beans. Everything is al la carte so you can order as much or as little as you want. The tacos had good flavor so we would order them again. We also had an order of sopapillas for dessert. The Sopappillas were great but a large order that could easily serve 4 or more. We will eat here again while visiting the Casino Del Sol Resort.
