Chef was very good, he made the experience fun. Food was so so. Maybe do fried rice instead and include ice cream.
So much fun always and food was delicious!
Service was quick and entertaining. We were able to get a reservation in the same day. Food was amazing too! Lots of variety to choose from.
Food has gone downhill. Steak is of lower quality, tough and chewy. Teppan village has been a go to destination for special occasion but this recent visit has been disappointing with the quality of food .
Was a great place to bring my daughter for her 8th birthday celebration!!! Ambiance was very friendly. Had a great interactive meal and at the end of it they brought her a special dessert and the whole restaurant joined in a rendition of Happy Birthday to her, made her feel super special.
Expensive for smaller cuts of meat but filling nonetheless
Very loud but expected for this kind of dining- makes it more fun!
Entertaining and delicious. Fun for the kids to watch. Loud but expected.
Fun place to eat. Our cook needed to engage us a little more! Would make a big difference for the experience.
Friendly service. Great show. Awesome food. Atmosphere is cheery.
Amazing experience, great sakè list. Try the Hakutsuru Junmai Ginjo 😎
Staff was friendly. Always fun to see your food being cooked in front of you. The Moscow mule was delicious!
One word - amazing! Everything was incredible. So beautiful to watch and be apart of. Thank you!
Really fun for family. Good kids menu. A bit pricey for the amount of food but the ambience and entertainment make it worth it.
Our reservation was late evening so restaurant was essentially empty so not much ambiance. Our server was not overly friendly and seemed annoyed with my gluten questions (I'm celiac). Food was disappointing and not very flavourful and doesn't compare to Kobe in vancouver. The chef was really kind and entertaining and was the best part of our experience.
Service was good but was not told about up charges to get friend rice instead of steamed$5.00
They do not cook the rice in front of you like at other places- it just gets dropped off so not worth the 5$ They also up charged for extra vegetables instead of rice. Overall a good experience but found it to be overpriced for what you get
Great value for money, food was awesome, and it's a fun dining experience.
A bit overpriced for the food you get
Great Restaurant, felt safe with safety protocols in place including seeing the manager wiping down menus…
Food was ok, cook was entertaining and engaged. Unfortunately we got the feeling that our server didn’t want to be there and her level of service was poor at best. Very over priced for what you get, likely won’t be back.
It a lot of food for price you pay. I suppose you’re paying to watch the chef entertain you with his cooking skills.
Steak was tough, cook forgot my chicken and my wifes shrimps. Menu was overpriced. Waitress was good
Portions are really small for the price
Watching the chefs is good, food tasteless and overpriced
Great food and experience
Fun experience and great food! Definitely check it out if you’re in Whistler
Way overpriced for the very small portion received. Last time we came the rice was cooked deliciously on the flat too with egg and veggies, this time we were simply given a bowl of plain steamed rice. Basically left hungry and paid 200$ for steamed rice 1/8 an onion with 1/4 cup of shoots and some meat.
Also at the end she asks for a tip the minimum option was 18% then 20, 25, 30?... No. It should be min. 15 then 18 then 20. Get over yourself. Your in and out of here in less than an hour.
I think if it wasn’t for having just come out of Covid restrictions it may have been better. I didn’t notice a table just over from us complaining about some liquid dripping from the ceiling onto their table. Although it wasn’t our table it bothered me to think they could get sick from whatever it was splashing onto their food. The bucket method to
Me wasn’t acceptable. I hope their dinner was free.
Very fun every time we go there. Friendly service.
A bit expensive but worth the experience.
Our meal was fantastic at Teppan! The food was fresh and full of flavour and it was very enjoyable watching the chef prepare the meal in front of us. The chef was fun and made the experience exciting! Our server was really friendly and attentive. I would say it’s a little on the pricey side, but it’s also located in the Whistler village so it’s fitting.
Love it! Super great experience with my boyfriend!! Will def come again!!
They gave my table away despite the fact I called and they said it was okay to be 10 minutes late. Then they BC like the seat us at all. Very disappointed
Great fun, especially for the kids.
We had a great time kids really enjoyed it
Excellent experience! The whole team (short handed during Covid) were working together to make sure every guest had the best experience possible. The staff were energetic, positive and very attentive. Highly recommend this to everyone. Very entertaining to watch the skill and charisma of the talented chefs! Keep up the great work everyone!! Thank you all for the wonderful dinner and excellent service!
I came down to whistler for my birthday, this was a great restaurant to go to if your down at the whistler village. Such a great experience, Taylor our server was awesome. A server to remember! The flames while cooking was awesome. I recommend everyone to go especially if it's a special occasion !
Great place , food very underwhelming but great entertainment
Family of four with two teenagers, they loved it! Filmed the whole thing and are currently sharing it with all their friends 😁 Yui was our chef and he was absolutely wonderful ❤️
This was our kids’ first experience at Teppan. Our kids loved the onion volcano (can’t stop talking about it!), but a child at the opposite table (probably about 5?) was petrified. Both kids enjoyed their food (daughter only ate rice, son had the steak). It’s been probably about 15 years since we have been there, but I hadn’t remembered the dinner being quite so quick... could perhaps be related to COVID? That was my only complaint, but no one else in my party seemed bothered.
Mauvais service , nourriture très ordinaire , pas vraiment de show , pas d’air climatisé il faisait très chaud et très très cher
The food was so delicious. Much better than any other Japanese Steakhouse I have ever been too. The only downfall is that we didn't check the receipt till we got back home to Vancouver and realized we were charged $19 for Wine. We didn't get any wine, so it must've been the table next to us. Check your receipts before you pay!
