It was our last night in Vegas and I wanted my wife to eat there as I had been several times before. Great choice, she loved it. We both had steak and lobster with a nice Chardonnay. Dewey is the server you want when you go there, knows the menu well and makes sure you're taking care of.
Delicious food and fantastic service
The service helps Tender hold its on with the vast array of steak houses to choose from in Vegas.
After we were sat, it took 5 minutes to even be greeted by our server. We got water and waiting another 20 minutes to order and receive bread. All this time people were sat and served around us. Once we ordered, 3 tables were served, glasses refilled and taken care of before us, all of whom had been seated after us.
The food itself was ok. They steak and scallops were very good (though the steak could have used seasoning). It took about 5 minutes to get someone to even bring me salt and pepper. The sides were $9 a piece sold separately or $21 for three sides. We got 3 potato wedges, yes, three! For a side dish. Then the creamer spinach was flavorless and the Mac n Cheese tasted like a children’s meal. It was also a long time to get water refilled.
Overall, we all said it was ok because I had a comp amount of $160 (which I had NOT told the staff so no excuse on service), but if we had had to pay, we’d never go back. 2 steaks, scallops, three sides and water for $189 with horrible service and mediocre flavor.
Absolutely amazing food and the service was AWESOME...went Monday April 16th, 18 reservations at 6pm, got there earlier and we got sat down right away....
Birthday celebration and all they could bring out was a Creme Brûlée with a candle when the tan was over $500 😉
Very good, our first time here. Usually go to Circus steakhouse but now will come here.
Good service. Ridiculously overpriced for what you get. $50 steak? Didn’t taste like it. Definitely not one of the best steakhouses I’ve been to, despite being priced like one.
We ate here about 2 years ago and loved the food service and atmosphere. We went to Camelot steak house this time and after that decided we wanted to gp to Tenders again. Camelot was good but not as good as Tender.
Great Food. Very Reasonable Prices and over the top service.
Whenever we are in town we make a point to come here for an amazing steak dinner. Gary and Fernando and I think Oscar were attentive and informative this last visit. This is by far our favorite place in Vegas.
My entire family enjoyed our first night’s dinner in Las Vegas at this restaurant. It was the perfect location for an early dinner before seeing a show in Luxor. The lobster bisque and salads were all delicious. We all enjoyed our main courses which included center cut filet mignon, North Atlantic salmon, and steak burger sandwich. The complimentary bread with pesto oil and sides of mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes were all delicious as well. The dessert menu also looked good but decided to pass since we were all full. I also appreciate the restaurant seeing my request and delivering a perfect, semi-private room table. I look forward to my next visit soon!
Too noisy and to close to the gambling machines . Meat was very good and well cooked . Service was ok . However they push too much for additional items ... and they start to clean the table before the last ones are still eating . Don’t forget we spent 120
Dollars / person . For that price you expect more than a good steak .
Average .
If you like steak, including bison, this is a great place to dine. I had an 8oz filet that was melt in your mouth. Three others at our table enjoyed the scallops, creatively prepared, which they raved about. The appetizers and salads were also very good. All of us enjoyed dessert as well.
The atmosphere is wood decor with moderate lighting. What you expect in a fine steak/seafood restaurant.
From a service standpoint, they use a team approach to ensure prompt service, i.e. two servers and one bus person.
Us girls wanted a date night together before our departure home. The place is very very pricey but it’s Vegas everything cost money! The steak was awesome but the Alaskan King Crab was out of this world and cut and prepped for easy eating. The oysters were good along with the lobster bisque soup. I would definitely return here next trip.
We have eaten at Tender a number of times - and make it a point to go there as a 'special' evening with friends. This time however, my wife and I were disappointed in the quality of the tomahawk steak for 2 (3/4 of which was left with no inquisition from our server as to why) and the placement of our table of 6 next to a kitchen door when the restaurant was not full. No followup after our food was served. Wine glasses remained empty even though we had ordered bottles for the table. Our server had an issue with us splitting up the bill (simply) and charging to our room which took and extraordinary amount of time and several attempts and clear initial instructions. All 6 of us commented afterward that had this been our first experience at Tender, we would not be back.
We hosted 6 tables of 10. Everyone was very accomodating, our customers had a great time and all said the meal was excellent.
Waiter could have been a little more “seasoned” for a upscale steakhouse. Also, no waiting of tables around the bar prior to dinner. You had to visit the bar.
Amazing venue to celebrate! My frat brothers and I had a private enclosed dining area! Top notch service!
Bison steak was subpar at best. Quality of the meat was poor and was over cooked
Wonderful food, atmosphere and wait staff. First class experience.
Tomahawk was excellent, potatoes gratin also outstanding. Service was fantastic. Great way to open our trip to Vegas!
Main server Joe was ok, but Thom was a delight. Loved the soup options and banana bread pudding. Great atmosphere for a date.
Great food we had the bison ribeye and it was very good!
The food was fine. I wouldn’t return based on the price of what we paid and what we got. To be fair, I didn’t have a steak, so that might have been my error.
Not a fan of the pushy photographer. She didn’t seem pleased that we didn’t want a photo.
Excellent salmon, steak was also great. Would definitely recommend the Bison. One of the best wedge salads I have ever had. Service was also great.
Every year for our wedding anniversary we eat at Tender like the athmospher and like that they have a photographer that way we have our picture taken every year
Awesome food and everyone is friendly
Amazing experience for sure I invited 3 friends who are locals, myself and my 40 y o son! We ordered family-style so there was
An amazing selection of meat & lobster risotto, a potato casserole dish, Caesar salad, delicious assortment of breads.
Awesome cocktails and beverages!
I’ll be back in 3 months!
Our server was awesome!
Been to Tender 7 or 8 prior times: Hostess was great, asked for fresh ground pepper on our salad and were handed the salt and pepper grinders, had to reuse our appetizer forks for salad.
Ordered a fillet medium and it came rare and tough. The poorest dinner we've ever had at Tender and prices have gone up substantially. Not sure we'll ever go back
Wonderful and peaceful hide-a-way, totally removed from the casino in which it is located.
Excellent choices for meat and seafood. An excellent place to enjoy a delicious meal and quiet conversation with friends.
The service and meal were very good. I️ was very pleased and would dine there again.
Our waiter Joseph was great and food was excellent!
Good as usual. Changed their ribeye from boneless to bone-in. I actually prefer the boneless. Too much work for negilable better flavour. Will likely be back. A bit loud on this occasion.
Food was great, after they corrected our order. Service was terribly slow and took over 3 hours to complete our meal for a table of 6.
The food was amazing waygu beef and prawns. Ez was one of the best servers we have ever had. The price is a little much, but you are in Vegas and you only live once.
2nd time dining here and would happily do so again. We had the $75 myvegas voucher which made this meal a bargain. One of the nicest steaks i've ever had. Great wine too. I like sitting in the booths.
For a Vegas restaurant, the atmosphere is relatively quiet. Great for a business meeting/dinner because you can actually hear across the table. The tuna appetizer is outstanding. I tried the lamb sampler and it was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Also try the Cobb salad. Instead of bacon bits, it has two slabs of bacon on it. Nice touch! Service was OK, not outstanding, but nothing to complain about. All in all, a great dinner.
Great food, great service
Terrible...food was absolutely terrible. Would rather go to Outback Steakhouse. Server tried to argue with us
We reserved a table for 8 and then realized we had 9. They were able to arrange a new table with no problem. When we were seated we received notice that 2 of our party would not be joining us and one was running late. We advised the hostess and she moved us to a smaller table with no problem. Then our waiter, Ralph, came.
Ralph acted like he did not want to serve us. He was very pushy and rushed us through the ordering process. He got our drink order wrong. Two of our party ordered steak medium plus. One came out fine. The other one was butterflied and was inedible. It had to be sent back for a new one. Ralph did not come back and check to see if everything was ok. The food runners and manager were more concerned.
As soon as we finished eating, Ralph picked up everything, even the bread. He offered a dessert menu but we felt he did not want us there any longer and opted not to have any.
The food was not worth going back and the service was horrible. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
