Ten22 Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I had a great evening at Ten22. We went for the dine downtown menu and everything was very good! The only thing that we thought was a bit off, and we actually had a good laugh, was the butternut squash ravioli. Although it was very tasty, my husband ordered it as his main course and he only received 5 small raviolis. Not nearly enough for a meal. I got the steak which was delicious and more than I can eat, so I shared half my meal with him. It all worked out, but wish that we would have gotten a few more raviolis for the price. The service was fantastic!
We have been to Ten22 several times and decided to pick this restaurant (out of all the others) for your special Dine Downtown restaurant week menu. We arrived a few minutes early and the hostess and manager were very friendly and accommodated our booth request. We arrived at our table and the experience went downhill from there. The booth seat was ripped up on one side, our waiter took a long time to arrive and was not very friendly and extremely stressed out. He never once made eye contact with us. The food was delicious as always and the busser was also very efficient and friendly. The wine took forever to arrive at our table actually arriving after we received our appetizer. The waiter seemed like he didn’t really want to be bothered by much. It wasn’t just our table as we watched his frenzied service at his other tables as well. The manager stopped by to ask us how our meal tasted which was very nice. The waiter forgot to take our dessert order (3 course meal) and we had to ask him to order it. When we received our bill, he had charged us for 2 glasses of wine instead of the one that we ordered. We asked him to remove the charge and he agreed that he had made a mistake. It truly was a shame that the waiter was so unengaged because the rest of our experience was good.
I work in the service industry so I have certain expectations when it comes to service... the hostess was really nice, but our server was the worst waitress I’ve come across in a while. Diners who were seated and had their orders taken after us got their meals and dessert before us. The only time our waitress came to our table was to take our order, drop our food, and give us the check. She never once came to see if we were doing okay or needed anything. I was really disappointed b/c my sister was visiting from out of town for my daughter’s baptism, so we wanted to take her to a nice restaurant and it ended up being a bad experience for all of us. I probably will never dine there again. She left a bad taste in all our mouths.
Had dinner during restaurant week with friends here. I ordered prim fixe menu...best choice among us. Grilled Brussel sprouts were delicious served with crispy crostini, my grilled sirloin steak was also very good with nice sauce, green beans and fingerling potatoes. Hubby had pizza with brussel sprouts, pork belly, etc. Ingredients were good but lacking in cheese or any noticeable sauce which would have made it so much better! Chocolate lava cake was good, not outstanding. 3* rating based on our friends dinners which were not so great. One 3-course dinner was sea bass...fish okay but she didn’t like the choice of cheese and risotto that came with it. Other friend had regular dinner of meatloaf...very strange taste and seemed seriously undercooked. They did prepare another meatloaf which they took home so nice touch. Would recommend based on our meals; our friends probably wouldn’t!
Although I've eaten there several times, I wanted my partner to try it. So we used 'Dine Downtown' as an opportunity. The restaurant is beautiful - open and modern - my type of restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We enjoyed all three courses. I've made a convert!
This was our first visit to Ten 22. We enjoyed the Dine Downtown menu. The Sprout Bruchetta was amazing. I had the Butternut Squash ravioli and the only complaint I had was there was a serious lack of sauce. They were pretty dry. Overall good experience and we will definitely go back to try more from the regular menu.
Excellent appetizer and dessert. Molten chocolate cake and apple cobbler was excellent. Had both deserts since I got comp for a birthday. Entrees were passable, I will go back for dessert and appetizers. Very relaxing atmosphere, not too noisy. First visit to Ten22. Valet parking is suggested on weekends
Service was poor. Food at times was memorable but other item not edible. The restaurant needs training in Service. They fly around the restaurant while b-lining for a specific table. No one sees you, even with your hand up. They didnt return to the table at all. I ordered steak that was quoted at medium to medium rare, which actually turned out very rare, with 3/4 of the meat raw. The filet was poorly trimmed as it had sinew that could not be cut through. The knife offered would not cut the steak. The second knife given would not cut the steak, until finally the 3rd knife, a proper steak knife was offered. 3 knifes until the steak could be cut through. Why not offer a steak knife with a filet mignon? They didnt even realize that the problem with cutting the steak was as much a meat quality problem as a "which knife" problem. It is most certainly a training issue because the staff tried hard (flying through the restaurant like bees), even though the restaurant only had 25% of the table filled.
Food was cold and tasteless
Waitress never came back for about 30/45 minutes
Needed refills on drinks
Needed food reheated
We finally asked about a dessert menu, waitress said kitchen was closed that they may not cook us dessert.
Waitress did apologize for not coming back. How ever the price off the food for what we got was not worth it.
Well it was New Years Eve and they were offering a limited menu, but the choices were good. Although, they did put 6 adults in a booth, which I found a tad crowded, but not awful. Service seemed kinda rushed, but it was New Years Eve. Overall the food and atmosphere were wonderful. I definitely will go back to have a better selection. Oh- and what ever you do-Try the chocolate cake. Its was OUTSTANDING!
Had another festive and fun Christmas eve dinner. Holly( our sever) was perfect for us. The only thing amiss from the other wise delicious dinner was the entrees were just barely warm so unusual for this restaurant. I know they won't disappoint in the future. Thanks
