The ambience was outdoors with street and sidewalk energy. The service was both friendly and professional and the food was good.
Music was a little loud. Everything else great.
Lovely and solidly good meal. Still with a pandemic ambience but grateful for the opportunity to have a nice meal out.
Our first time to this hidden gem. I have been in this industry for over 20 years and I cannot rave enough about the service and the outstanding food. Every single detail beyond my expectations.
Randy, the gentlemen photographed on the menu with his credentials, along with photos of the owner and sous chef. As I turn around to look around the restaurant, I see RANDY, preparing me the most amazing halibut I’ve had in my life! (The chef is in view of the guest) He stopped by our table to check to see if everything tasted good. And that in itself made my experience, the best ever! Thank you for the amazing food Randy!
With that being said, I hope this helps you to not hesitate to give it a try! You won’t be disappointed!
Jessica, our server was amazing. She told us about the specials, she is very sweet, professional and attentive!
Table was so close to kitchen got home smelling oil
But the worst was. The tasteless noise coming from radio in the kitchen it almost. Ruined the whole experience
Horrible cheesy 90s romantic hits it was torture
Service food very good though
Great service, friendly and accommodating. Good wine recommendation. The food menu is small but everything on it we tried (zucchini corn fritters, swordfish, steak, and chocolate souffle) was exquisite. This was our first time at Ten Tables in awhile but we will be back hopefully sooner!
We love the food here it is always good! The staff is super friendly and we always come back to visit now that we moved.
Food was incredible although slower to be served! Highly recommend the swordfish
It was for our 49th anniversary and we had the whole place to ourselves at five o'clock. Our dinner was wonderful- great swordfish and hanger meals with an appetizer of brie.
Our desserts were perfect- chocolate souffle and key lime pie. Service was perfect and we even got to meet the chef. It was a nice evening out with my dear husband. Thank you.
The back of the house is definitely the strongest part of this restaurant. The food that came out was FANTASTIC, everything was well prepared and plated nicely. We were a little disappointed that the menu was as limited as it was, but as patrons we understand in order to survive this post Covid world it’s essential.
Ten Tables used to be a favorite for us but the ambiance has completely changed. The music that was played and the staff that worked there just gave off a completely different vibe. The menu wasn’t accurate (the items that we selected from the menu weren’t available). And there was no tasting menu option anymore. I don’t think we will be going back.
Wonderful food, very fresh and nicely served. Large portions.
Loved the size and the concept. Perfect evening out. Food was good and cocktails were great.
Excellent food. Was surprised it is limited menu on Sunday but there were good choices.
First time dining here and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Although at first glance it seemed to be a scaled down limited menu with only 4 choices for entrees, what we ordered was delicious, beautifully presented and very flavorful. We loved the cocktails too. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Would highly recommend a visit here and plan to come back soon!
It was our first time trying Ten Tables, and my fiancé and I absolutely loved it! The Sunday Dinner option was an incredible value and the food was to die for. I can’t recommend Ten Tables enough!
So happy to be back at this lovely spot! Sunday supper was terrific.
Food was excellent as well as service. Thought the music was too loud (was it for the kitchen staff?) and playing 1980 hits didn't fit the vibe. Still will return.
Amazingly scrumptious and original
Good dining experience . Awesome drinks. Excellent value
It was nice food but inside was so smoo
This was the best meal I’ve had in quite some time! The food was sooo flavorful. The cocktails were amazing! I definitely recommend ten tables to everyone!
Love this place. Everything has been delicious, and creative choices.
We just had a great dinner at Ten Tables. I hadn't been in many years. I loved the menu-- there were many things I would have enjoyed on it. The food was excellent. Great, casual, attentive service.
Friendly, relaxed, wonderful food. Wish it were in my neighborhood.
My only regret is that I waited so long to try this place!
In our first visit to Ten Tables in their new configuration, it is great that they have retained the attributes that made them so good in the past: a welcoming staff and an expert kitchen. The menu and drink list is much shorter than before but everything was well prepared. I imagine that they will add to the menu as they get a bit more re-established. The setting was reflective of the distance between tables that is now the norm. A diner can eat in complete confidence about safety. They deserve our business.
The octopus was excelente and so was the Lamb lollipops
Really cute and charming restaurant in Jamaica Plains. It was quiet when we went and so it made for a really nice evening out. All of the food was phenomenal. We got the braised lamb lollipops and now rate this as one of the best dishes we have had in Boston! Would absolutely come back for a special occasion.
Quick friendly service and delicious food. Felt very Covid safe! Will be back
We invited a couple we're just getting to know and the conversation flowed throughout the dinner thanks to the excellent wait staff and delicious food.
Great food and service. I love the open kitchen and being able to see everything going on. I'll definitely return.
It was perfect!
It's been awhile since I visited, but I must say the experience was disappointing. The portions were generous, but the flavors didn't pop- needed a bit more salt and acid.
Food, Service was great. The noise level was too high and might make me think twice before I go back. I expect it to be happening but they do need to figure how to moderate the noise. The woman at one table cackled throughout her meal and it went straight to the ceiling and bounced out.
Lovely and cozy. Good food and drink. Only negative is the menu is limited which makes sense given the size of the kitchen.
While the service was just a bit slow, all of the staff were very agreeable and capable. It would be great if the music could be even lower, but they were kind in accommodating us and lowering it a bit. Bringing bread a bit earlier, or just as a pro forma matter (or probably best, asking at the outset if we wanted some) would be a nice way to start.
The meal was delicious.
Loved Ten Tables! The tasting menu with wine pairings was decadent and not too expensive at all.
