   mother-in-law said the basil ice cream dessert was the best she had ever had. Staff was very accommodating and swapped us in for an earlier slot when the opportunity arose.

    Ten Tables is a neighborhood gem a few short blocks from my house. But it's worth the drive into JP for a delicious, unpretentious dinner. My farm salad was large and lovely, with preserved Asian pear slices and a delicate dressing. My companions had warm praise for the crab dip and the tuna crudo. Two of us had the pasta, with a bright green spinach sauce, small florets of cauliflower and shaved Parmesan. The devoted carnivore had the hangar steak and proclaimed it delicious. The servings are generous and we had no space for dessert. Our service was very friendly and professional. We will return soon.

    The salmon and the two salads were excellent~ perfectly cooked. Bartender was alternately attentive and then busy socializing with staff and not quite on the mark for a quiet night.

    The food and service were exceptional from start to finish. The only negative was the noise level. We were seated in the room with the kitchen and all the tables were full so it was quite loud. Even with the noise, i would still highly recommend this restaurant.

    This was a nice place to take myself for a solo Sunday date night. I had the heirloom tomato salad which was delicious. Juicy, fresh, delicious tomatoes, with really nice mozzarella and fragrant basil. The red wine vinaigrette could have been from a bottle, but the ingredients were so good, I didn't care. For my main I ate the housemade gnocchi with short rib, swiss chard, and rainbow carrots. Genius flavor combinations. The Gnocchi were cooked perfectly, so doughy and almost dumpling-y. The short rib was outstanding and paired so nicely with the veggies and gnocchi. I will say that this was served in a boat-like dish, which did have a little bit too much watery sauce on the bottom of the dish. It seemed like an accident. I ordered a mocktail. The waiter asked "sweet or tart", I answered tart. It was still kind of sweet, but was a nice virgin margarita-esque drink. Major points for not batting an eye at the word "mocktail" and having a plan of action though. Service was incredible, very friendly and the perfect amount of conversational. I am curious to see what this restaurant feels like at a different time other than Sunday at 5:30. I was one of 3 parties, and so would love to see what this looks like on a busy Friday or Saturday night. I would definitely come back here to try more menu items, and would be excited to bring my friends! I have already told my gnocchi lovers to come check out ten tables!

    We went at 5pm because we had later plans, so we were the only people in the restaurant. Our server seemed confused by our drink orders - he was clearly not a bartender. My husband ordered a vodka martini with olives and I ordered a vodka martini with a twist. The server came back and asked me if I wanted olive juice in mine. I said no, that I just wanted a lemon twist. I don't know who would get olive juice and lemon, but maybe that person exists out there! My drink was fine, although heavy on the vermouth, but my husband's martini came with olive juice in it, which he did not ask for. The drinks took a long time to come even though we were the only people in the restaurant. We got the Mexican Street Corn appetizer, which was very good, but I wish it was off-the-cob as it was very messy to eat in public! When we ordered our food, my husband ordered the Steak Frites but asked if he could just have double-vegetables instead of the fries. The server said yes. When it arrived, it was with fries. We decided not to make a big deal about it. I got the Gnocchi with short rib and asparagus, which was delicious although a bit too salty. I liked that we were seated near an open window as the day was nice outside. There is outdoor seating available but we chose not to use it as the street traffic is noisy. We had a gift certificate, so this meal only cost us about $25, but if I had paid full price (about $150 for two people who each got 2 drinks + one appetizer + 2 entrees) I might have been a little more upset with the service.

    I made the reservation for July 7, 4+ weeks in advance, for a friend's birthday. I did so through their online reservation system. They electronically confirmed the reservation a few days prior. I took a one-way $30 Lyft from downtown Boston to their restaurant on the day of the reservation. When I arrived there was a paper note stuck to the inside of their door which read, "We will be closed for a summer break beginning Friday July 1st, 2022 and we will re-open on Friday July 15, 2022." No one even bothered to call me, much less acknowledge or offer a rescheduling.

    Food was really delicious, but we were a bit disappointed that some items listed on the website menu were not available on the night we were there. Probably a good idea to call ahead and check if you are interested in a specific menu item. The Moroccan chicken was a stand-out. Staff are attentive and very pleasant. We sat at an outdoor table on a warm evening. There were only 4 outdoor tables, so we felt lucky that one freed up just as we arrived for our reservation.

    Our first time in this Restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendly service. Every dish was well presented and delicious. The server was very friendly and able to communicate in English and Spanish fluently. In all honesty, we did not expect the food to be so original and so tasteful, it was incredible. We will definitely return whenever possible and would recommend the place to our friends.

    I hadn’t been since before the pandemic when I had one of the best burgers I’ve had in Boston - it was off the menu last night. I ordered the chick pea fritters which were tasty but the dish was also a bit gloppy. My wife ordered the steak which she thought was chewy but I thought was pretty good. The desserts - chocolate mousse and crème brûlée were excellent, as was the service. But the wine - the house red and a Malbec were mediocre.
