Very overpriced. Nice atmosphere. Good food. 5 people 3 drinks $380 with tip! Won't go back.
overpriced meals for the portions. steaks were small and sharing sides small. The sushi was very good. Bottom line....for the overall value and price,...there are better restaurants in Providence!!!!
The food and drinks are great, but sometimes when your busy less a attention happens form the staff and missed opportunities to serve the gust happens. Now the bus staff is right on clearing tables, but the server staff needs to be on there game when busy.
As always the food and drinks were fantastic. However, the server was not attentive.
Took some clients here for dinner after a conference at the RICC. Nice atmosphere, lively but not too loud. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. A bit pricey for Providence, but certainly worth it. Seems to attracted a younger, sexier crowd, so great for people watching. They do have a bar and TVs, but not my first choice to catch a game - I'd go somewhere a little lower rent for that, perhaps in the Jewelry District. Great for a date though, or celebrating a special occasion.
Our waiter Eric was great on Saturday night! The food was so good! Definitely recommend for a date night/special occasion.
I haven't been to this place in a LONG time and was happy to see it was as good as I remember it - great sushi, good wine, and friendly/attentive service.
Very disappointing to say the least. We were frequent customers but thought it had dropped off in quality in the past few years. We gave it another try and this will be our last visit. It mainly appears to be just stuck in time, nothing new and now the food just isn't what it used to be. My daughter ordered a surf & turf and asked for her filet as rare as possible. It came back well done. Our waitress, who was great, thought maybe the kitchen sent out the wrong one. My son ordered his steak med-rare and it was med-well. He didn't send it back as we already sent one back. Guess maybe they plated two wrong steaks...my sushi was small and bland, the steamed asparagus was overdone...I could go on but that's enough. Too many other good choices to go there. We are done.
My food was fantastic. I had the “10 filet mignon” which was 47$ and a side of lobster Mac and cheese. My boyfriend had surf and turf type meal that was not on the menu but our waiter Justin was very accommodating. The lobster was baked and stuffed and delicious. I also had an off menu item as a starter- spicy salmon which was very tender. My boyfriend had oysters and little necks for his app. However, the oysters were not that great-about $3 each and they were rather small. For dessert I had the banana bread pudding which was also great. For alcohol I had a sangria which was just ok. My boyfriend had George Clooney brand tequila and that’s now his go to drink.
Great waitstaff and excellent sushi options. Great for those with gluten allergies and kid friendly as well. The "birthday" cake is a must have.
Great food and service! One of our favorite “go to’s”
Understaffed, long waits, greeted 20 min after our reservation by hostess. Took 25 minutes after being seated to be greeted by server.
Long waits for everything. Not an enjoyable evening.
Ordered a filet medium. I was served a butt end and it was well done. My party was finished when I was served another that was rare.
They gave me no consideration for their mess up.
Bill was 750$
Poor customer service
The service was just ok. The food was subpar. My wife’s steak was not cooked as ordered so we sent it back and it came back over done. The stuffed lobster was overpriced for what you get. The bread crumbs on top we awful and dry. The alcohol and food is way overpriced. Don’t know how they have stayed in business this long. The tables are right on top of each other and it’s hard to move around. Uncomfortable. Won’t be back
We went to Ten to celebrate our daughter's 14th birthday! Her choice.. we have been several times before and she loves it. The service was outstanding.. great menu suggestions. There was four of us for dinner .. everyone left very impressed. A great place to go if you would like a special night out! Pear martini is amazing!
Great food! Pricey but good.
Really enjoyed a quiet late lunch with a business acquaintance. The sushi was excellent. The hanger steak with frites were good. The waitress was attentive and gracious. Would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
Great spot for light lunch. Nice presentation on the sushi and appy selection. Fast friendly service.
Last minute reservations for Valentine's Day. We made a 6:45 reservation, arrived about 10 minutes early and were seated in 5 minutes. Excellent wine list, we had a great Pinot Noir. Great service, my filet was perfect , his scallops were excellent, and the dessert came with cotton candy!
I really enjoyed this restaurant! It was our first time visiting and we came in for Valentine's Day. The food was outstanding. My Porterhouse was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I loved the King Crab leg. The duck fat brussel sprouts were good also. The service was amazing and our waiter as well as many runners were attentive to us. The only complaint I would have is the host stuck us at a table in the back close to the kitchen. The tables in the front had candles and roses on the table, and we had wished we had been seated somewhere a bit more scenic since it was Valentine's Day and the tables were empty. The food was delicious however, I have to say it was a bit overpriced, especially for the steaks and toppings and 1 crab leg. The butter was unsalted, which is not a huge deal, but it was something that I noticed. All in all it was a nice place to dine and I would definitely come back!
Food and service always great. Valet parking very convenient when you have theatre tickets.
My wife and I dined at Prime this Saturday night. Our reservation was for 6:15pm and were seated promptly when we arrived. Our server Eric was knowledgeable, friendly, suggestive and very timely with each course. It was the best Providence dining experience I’ve had in years. Definitely try it yourself :]
It was a nice place for dinner.
Had a great dinner, sushi was awesome as were our steaks. Less impressed with the Brussels sprouts- they were deep fried??? Why would you do that? Also thought the portions for the side dishes has shrunk... had sriracha cauliflower which was good, but not generous. Bacon Mac & cheese was delicious.
the food and service was exceptional! I would highly recommend this restaurant and request to be seated in John’s section.
We had lunch for restaurant week and it was very good. The only problem was that our food took so long that we were very late back to the office. We had to flag the waiter down for our desserts (that we had to take to go) and our bill.
That was really the only issue, but it's important in the city.
This restaurant has great food and great service. However, the prices of their steaks, sushi and side dishes are very expensive. The remaining food items are about 25% more than you can find elsewhere. The bar is great. Tables in the dining room are hit or miss. The tables for two are too small in my opinion given the price of the food and quality of service. Try and get a "4 seater" if available.
The servers were lovely, however the food (or lack there of) was nothing more from an amateur kitchen. The price was astounding and bread not even included on the table which was needed when I couldn’t tolerate the salty stuffing (dry, uncooked breadcrumbs on my stuffed lobster). No sides on my husbands 65.00 surf and turf. We will not be visiting again.
We arrived within 5 minutes of our reservation time and the line for valet parking was at least 5 deep, but valet man got to us immediately and we were in the door immediately.once inside the hostess was fantastic getting our coats checked and to our table in timely fashion. We were seated in the back room which was ok but, we would have rather been out in main dining, bar area where things were much more lively, and probably where the rest of our servers tables were. The room we were seated appears to be perfect for a small party, etc. My girlfriend and I don't drink alcohol but, that doesn't mean we don't like to have fun, (or leave a good tip). It seemed to me ( & could definitely just be me) that when we both ordered Cokes we kind of got put on the "pay no mind" list of our server. It was nothing major but, we felt a bit neglected a couple of times but, overall he was a good, attentive server. We had calamari, sushi, and lamb chops, everything was absolutely PERFECT! Every bite of all food was enjoyable and delicious, hats off Chef! Overall it was a very nice dinner and night out with my girlfriend! We will definitely return (and ask to be seated in main area), and would recommend to anyone who likes top notch food.
Started off fine, but I should have asked if the steak was prime or choice (I think it was the latter.) Also, the chocolate souffle came out deflated, and would have sent it back but we had been waiting so long we just wanted to get things over with by that time. Our waiter, John, was clearly over-worked, or not organized, not sure. They were also out of the wine I ordered, really? Please take it off the menu then please. Overall, fine, but not really compelling to return.
It was our first night out after having our first child so we were very excited to try 10 Prime out. It took about 12 minutes to even get a drink and the tables were in top of each other, literally rubbing elbows with the patrons next to us. Food was excellent, not sure if I would return
Ten Prime is our favorite restaurant before PPAC shows. The food is consistently very good (we love the sushi) with top notch attentive service without being over the top. They always make sure we have enough time to get to the show! The experience here is always positive!
First time....Appetizers to Dinner was excellent. Service was excellent. We found it very small and too close to other diners where we can hear everyone's conversation.
It was the perfect dinner place for new years. Very happy with the service and the food was very tasty
Quaint place tucked in that is worth the drive. The steak is incredible. I wish there were more options for the specials though. Overall, my experience was excellent and I will be returning.
This place was awesome. My husband and I spent our 10th anniversary here and it was delicious. I had the goat cheese salad and prime 10 filet mignon w/ Gorgonzola sauce and my husband had the rainbow sushi dish and veal porterhouse w/ duck fat brussel sprouts. It was all amazing. Our table was intimate and we were able to take our time because it wasn't busy.
I can't wait to go back!
My party of 4 enjoyed the food at 10 Prime very much - both the Steaks and the Sushi - but the service left much to be desired. The sauces for your Party of Skewers arrived so late that we'd already eaten the skewers by the time they arrived - same thing with the coffees designed to accompany the desserts. In addition, we were seated at a table where we got a gust of cold wind every time the door opened, even though there were ample empty table in more protected places - though they did move us when we requested it. The bar scene looked fun - we were there on a Saturday early evening and there were 20-30 young people enjoying drinks. If you go for the food - which was excellent - you may want to remind your waiter to bring all the parts of each course of the meal at the same time.
Nice ambiance and although we had what should have been a good table in that it was a private booth with curtains to the side, the view we had was of the work station where dishes and glasses were stacked and coffee made, including the noise of banging out old coffee grounds. The food was very good . The butternut squash gratin would have been good had we been able to eat it. It came cold. We sent it back and by the time it came back, it was still just warm and the rest of the meal had been eaten. The server, Johnnie, was initially at our table constantly almost to the point of being annoying. As it got busier, we barely saw him and had to wait for quite some time. Also annoying....
Not only was the food exceptional, but the manager went out of his way to make sure that our Valet Parking was correct. It allowed us to enjoy our meal and PPAC without stress. Thank you!
