This place is out of business. Why is OpenTable still taking reservations for a non-existent restaurant? Would have been nice to have a heads-up before showing up to a shuttered store front, which apparently had been closed for about three weeks. We weren't the only diners standing in the rain wondering what to do next.
Ten Mercer closed December 31, 2017. Please remove Ten Mercer from Open Table. Thank you.
Ten Mercer CLOSED on 12/31/17 you morons!
10 Mercer is closed 🙀
Open table allowed us to make a reservation for January 2 here but the restaurant closed its doors on December 31!!! Bizarre and infuriating!
Service was friendly, timely and not rushed. NY Strip, mussels, and especially lobster bisque were amazing. Wine list is solid. Will visit again when in Seattle!!
Excellent service for our party of eight. They kept to our schedule beautifully. The meats were perfectly done but everything was overly spiced and salted. The interior surprised me by being quite rustic. Great location near Seattle Center.
Excellent food. Service was very good. Reasonable prices. Open a bit later than most places which was nice.
This is my 3rd time visiting... great food taste is amazing ...never disappointed.
Always reliable. There was a small holiday menu but I was able to get the Petrale Sole which was NOT on the holiday menu. Now that's what I call GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Took the adult kids to dinner before a show. The food was great - husband and son had steak which they raved over. Our server was friendly and accommodating. Had a fun, yummy dinner.
After the Ballet for dinner, it was a perfect ending and a loveley experience. The food
was wonderful with a glass of wine and Pelligrino. Highly recommend Ten Mercer.
Love coming back to 10 Mercer... have been for a long time and I love bringing new friends there so they can enjoy the food and the experience! Wonderful service, amazing menu options, great wines! Personal greetings by Brian, the Owner, when he's there!
This is my place to come before or after theatre, ballet, etc. Food and service are always wonderful! I love to bring friends who haven't been there before and see how much they enjoy the experience. Small but inventive menu and great wine list!
We celebrated our anniversary with a Performance of the nutcracker as well as a romantic dinner with just the two of us. The restaurant is walking distance from the McCall hall and the food was amazing with prices you can afford. The steak tenderloin was just as good as El gauchos, yet less expensive. The food was cooked to perfection. It was perfect!
We have loved coming to 10 Mercer for many years, before or after the theatre or ballet, etc. Our experiences have always been good... delicious food from a small but delightful menu, excellent service, great wines! I enjoy bringing new friends to 10 Mercer, too! They always want to come back.
Love this place. The ambiance is classy and the food is always first-class, fresh and sophisticated. Noise level low enough where you can actually have a conversation, and the surroundings are esthetically pleasing but not flashy. The tables are arranged on several levels around a central atrium with the bar at the bottom. Focus is on good food and conversation in a welcoming setting. Perfect if you like that. Wait staff always great, accommodating and flexible.
We chose this spot for dinner because of overall favorable reviews and its proximity to the Seattle Rep, where we were seeing a show. The menu had a wide variety of good choices; wife had grouper (which I never see in the Northwest), and I had sole. Both dishes were well-prepared and flavorful.
The restaurant is modern and attractive. Tables are pretty close together, so it was a little hard not to hear other conversations. However, the overall noise level was reasonable.
We made clear that we needed to finish dining in time to walk to a play, and our server kept on schedule. Service was polite and efficient.
The food and atmosphere were good, probably not outstanding. They were out of our my first choice of wine and my friend's first choice for dinner. The dessert was very good. We would probably go again for a casual evening out.
I underestimated 10 Mercer as a regular cocktail bar. I was surprised that the atmosphere and food was exceptional in a accessible neighborhood. I'll be back!
We liked good food choices for a range of tastes. Upstairs on a Sunday night was quiet and charming.
I won the football pool at work which included dinner for two. I also won a free night at the Mediterranean Hotel. I searched restaurants in the area and one of the employees at the hotel suggested Ten Mercer. My daughter and I made reservations and we were very impressed with the food, service and opportunity to have a conversation with quiet background music. The Mediterranean also features Ten Mercer in their guest directory and gave us tickets for free appetizers. I look forward to returning when I am in the area again.
It seemed promising at first, the server told us we needed to order by a certain time as everyone in the restaurant was also going to a 7:30 pm show. We ordered immediately. It took about 30-40" for the food to arrive, but we were fine time-wise. We were finished by 7 pm, which is when I had said we needed to leave by. Then it took the server 10+ minutes to bring the check, and then to return with the credit cards, no explanation for why it took so long. We ended up leaving closer to 7:15 than the requested 7 pm.
Food was only okay. We split a salad, which was very small - it said it had roasted pears, and that was two teeny slices of cold pear.
I ordered the steelhead on the server's recommendation, and it was gummy, not very flavorful - I think it had been frozen, or possibly pre-grilled then heated up again. Anyways, certainly not worth $30.
You can't beat the location if you're attending a performance at Seattle Center, but the food and service were not up to Seattle standards.
Felt rushed. food was only ok at best. Been here before. Was looking to come back but now trying to remember why.
Once our sever Realized we were seated in her section our service was impeccable. Her name is Maggie. We had a delicious meal and wonderful drinks.
Our waiter was excellent, gave us time and just nice guy. Food was very good. There were 4 of us and we could hear one another as we talked using our normal voices!
Went with my girlfriend prior to a show at McCaw. Seated quickly (with reservation) and our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She gave good wine recommendations for our dinners, and helped us sort out what dishes contained dairy ingredients, which my girlfriend cannot have. We both had fish, and our dishes were excellent, fresh, and contained a satisfying portion of food. I would definitely consider coming to this place again, and recommend it.
We go to 10 Mercer frequently because they serve very good dinners late, which means after the ballet and theater evenings this is a perfect place. We like having dinner after 9 or 10 in the evening.
Ten Mercer is a good place to go before an event at the Seattle Center. They are used to getting people out in time for the performance. And, the food is good as is the wine list.
Extremely good food and service. There is *no* foyer to speak of, but they are quick to get you through, if there is space.
