Logan was our waiter. He is the epitome of a professional, attentive, kind, fun, knowledgeable, and interested in his customers.
Saturday before Mothers Dsy was very quiet. Lou made our dining experience very nice. We did not feel rushed. His timing was great. The food was well prepared and plated. A fine dining treasure in an historic hotel.
Great downtown location and superb service. You owe it to yourself to try the Tomahawk Ribeye, but be sure to share it with your significant other because it is a meal!
TEN should be renamed "2." We went for a nice dinner at what we thought was an upscale restaurant. It was anything but.
The restaurant shares a space with an extremely noisy bar. The clientele of the bar is obviously spillover from the Crystal Lounge across the street. Certainly not conducive to a nice quiet dinner.
I had the duck. It was a bit over cooked, and the endive salad was too salty to eat. The vegetable consisted of about 7 limp green beans.
My wife had a strip steak. It was supposed to be medium cooked, but was cold raw in the middle. The potatoes and vegetables were drenched in olive oil. The only edible part of the meal was the bread.
This isn't the first time we've been disappointed by this restaurant. We won't be back.
The staff was attentive, apologetic and undertrained.
And, while we were there for 45 minutes (7:30 pm to 8:45 pm on a Friday night) we were the only diners in the place. That should have been a hint.
Nice livw music in bar area.
Items on the menu were not available for dinner.
The Alaskan scallops and risotto came to our table lea than hot.
Most Tomahawk steaks are not a great value (meat to bone ratio), but this one was a delicious deal. Fingerlings were a little oily, but tasty and asparagus was not over cooked. Everything could of had a little more seasoning/flavor.
I had the filet mignon, and my partner had the pork chop. Both had so much pepper on them that it was difficult to eat. When mentioning the problem to the waitress, her response was “Oh.”
We didn’t stay for dessert.
I can’t say enough about TEN! I was in Montana with my Mother and my husband flew in from Portland to drive home with me. I surprised him with a beautiful room at the Northern and dinner at TEN. It was one of the best dining experiences ever. Being from Portland we have a plethora of amazing dining options. I was blown away by the service and food in this Billings gem. We loved it so much that we waited for the lounge to open on Monday so that we could eat there again on our way home!
the meal was good, the wine was good, the atmosphere was good, and the wait staff was excellent. It was a great evening.
Great ambience! Good service! Medicore food. TEN has a wonderful atmosphere with quality service. Unfortunately I felt the food was lackluster for the price. I felt my girlfriend's pasta could have used more a snazzier presentation for $27 dollars.
Had a great dinner with business associates. Brussels sprouts were amazing and the salmon was the best ever. Could not have asked for a better server than Peyton. He knows the menu, he’s prompt, very attentive and does not hover
We had the Valentines Day dinner specials. The steak cut advertised wasn’t available and the halibut was over cooked and dry. The waiter was very professional and personable.
Amazing food and service! Heather wa so friendly, we LOVED her!!
No finer dining in Billings. We always have fabulous service, fantastic seasonal foods, in a very quiet environment. Bravo.
i genuinely enjoyed the food. in no way did it taste pre made or boxed. the service was great, we had time to enjoy our appetizers before the main course. it was quiet enough to have a conversation without leaning into each other ears. the salmon was phenomenal, i can definitely tell the difference between fresh, and frozen. the wifes pasta was incredible. lots of awesome steak house in billings but this was a real treat and we will be back.
wonderful service excellent food friendly attentive staff clean dining area
I ordered the Kansas City strip. It was the best steak I have had in a very long time
We have been wanting to try The Ten for a long time. It was worth the wait. Both our steaks were excellent and cooked medium rare as asked. The atmosphere is what you expect for an upscale dining experience. Our drinks before hand were custom ordered and terrific! Beautiful lounge area and very sophisticated. We will be going back. Very nice wine list as well and nicely priced.
Excited about our dinner plans and we were the only people in restaurant
Many in bar eating and drinking
My halibut cooked in parchment was over cooked dry and tasteless sent it back
My husbands $48 filet was over cooked and dry
Replaced my fish with a salad the waiter at first said they weren’t serving because of romaine scare and that is what they brought with a mediocre steak added to top
Overall not worth the time or money
One of the best places we have ever eaten! The food was outstanding, yes the price is high but with the quality of food you get it is amazing. Staff is super friendly as well and for our anaversarie we got a hand written card from the whole staff.just over all best food, environment and expierience I have ever had at a resturaunt we will definatly be coming back.
The food was OK. One of the guests had food that was too oily and didn't come with a mixed vegetables. My lasagna didn't have enough sauce. It dried out a little by the end of the meal. The cost of my coffee was higher than I expected.
There was a problem with the computer at the end of the meal. We waited and waited. Then the manager came to our table and told us that the computer was not working, and if it didn't get fixed in 5 more minutes he would be back. He came back in 10 minutes and said that the problem had not been resolved, so we put the charges on our guests hotel bill.
Excellent service and lovely ambience. The menu is seasonal and limited. A group of four can expect to spend at least $150 plus additional for beverages.
Enjoyed date night here with the wife. Creative menu. Great food and drinks
Great menu options for all meal courses. The Weathervane scallops were the best I ever had. The salad was not notable, but the main course compensated for it.
Halibut was done perfectly which is not easy to do - great job!
I had the tamohawk steak special. Delicious and huge. Ahi tuna appetizer was good also.
The experience did not go as we had anticipated. We did enjoy our service and the overall feel of the restaurant but were left hungry after only eating partials of the meals served to us. The food was not cooked to our liking, flavors seemed to be missing from both of our seafood dinners. My scallops were over cooked and the halibut was cooked well but lacked much of any flavor. The one bright spot of the food was the soup and the bread. Our waitress was excellent, she came by quite often to make sure we were enjoying our night and answering any questions we had. I’m not not one to complain about food to whom is serving us because they did not cook it. So I left that to myself and my date. I’d like to say I’d come back because I do enjoy your bar and lounge. The drinks have always been excellent, but the food had me questioning the quality of what we were served and especially for the price. Anywho, thank you for reading this and I hope you take my thoughts into account.
Our dinner at Ten exceeded our expectations! It was my Mom's birthday and they pulled out all the stops. The restaurant had a very nice card for my mom. The service was awesome!! And We loved the food. Crab cakes, yum! Halibut, yum! tiramisu, Yum!! We will be back.
Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was terrific.
Ten should have one of the best experience in Billings, but falls short. The dining room has the potential, but the food does not match other options downtown. We have been hoping the restaurant would become something special, unfortunately it hasn’t made the menu or meals which make the evening memorable.
The scallops and halibut dishes were a mix of confusing flavors. The cheesecake was done well and service adequate.
This is all in contrast to Bernie’s for breakfast which was very good, so the institution can put out good food. It just seems the fine dining has remained elusive for the several times we have tried this establishment. Too bad for Downtown Billings which needs some consistent fine options.
One of the best meals! We had a fantastic evening! Great service and amazing food. They brought my finace and Birthday card signed by the staff. Such a personal touch!! The cocktails were some of the best!! We will go back again!!
The food and wine was delicious. For the price, the service was slow (in all fairness, we had a trainee) and the setting was louder than expected due to the connection to the bar. I enjoyed my experience, but the cost is high. I would say it’s worth a try for something a little different.
The Wagyu ribeye steak I ordered was mediocre and, my wife ordered the special of the night; ribeye steak with a mushroom sauce. My steak was done the way I ordered but, was rather tough for a Wagyu ribeye (costly). My wife's steak was very thin and, overcooked but, the sauce was excellent. The squash side that came with the special was not appealing in any way; it looked bad and, tasted the same.
The waitress said there was a brand new chef. Hopefully he gets he feet on the ground better and things improve...
Otherwise, the ambiance was nice...
I was disappointed with the food and service. It used to be that TEN was a treat and a fun place to take company. It had been a year or so since I've dined there and won't be back unless I hear somethings have changed. Our waitress was unprofessional, the food was mediocre and we waited 80 minutes to be served our dinners from the time we were seated.
Food and drinks were way over priced for what was offered and was only “good”. Server was ok, not very attentive. Lots of food options were sold out. Despite their menu listing, they do not serve actual Kobe beef.
Food was very good. The bar crowd was a little loud.
Pricilla was our server - very good!! - nice ambience!
A little pricey, but lots of thoughtful touches, food was great
We were greeted warmly, seated right away. The staff were gracious, the atmosphere perfect for conversation and the food spectacular! We could not have been more pleased.
I took some girlfriends for my birthday, and our waitress was spectacular. She helped us make good selections for appetizers and the main course. The ahi tuna, filet mignon, and special were great.
