Pricilla was our server - very good!! - nice ambience!
A little pricey, but lots of thoughtful touches, food was great
We were greeted warmly, seated right away. The staff were gracious, the atmosphere perfect for conversation and the food spectacular! We could not have been more pleased.
I took some girlfriends for my birthday, and our waitress was spectacular. She helped us make good selections for appetizers and the main course. The ahi tuna, filet mignon, and special were great.
Great meal with very nice service.
My wife, daughter and I went out for a special night and we picked Ten. We had the best treat ever. My wife and daughter split the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and also had the Cobb salad. I had the seared albacore tuna with vegetables . We topped it off with the tall dark and stout cake for dessert. It was all off the chart. Our waitress was very personable and professional.
Appetizer (fish tacos)and main meals were very good. Desserts-not so much, with the creme brulee being curdled and the sorbet being grainy and under flavored. Staff was great from the start right through the entire meal service. Very nice overall experience for an anniversary.
Very poor treatment of whay might have been "kobe" ribeye. -salt bomb. Good crab cake. Salads were only average. Braised rib with Udon lacked any special character. Preparation falls very short of price and embiance.
The ambiance was wonderful! My wife and I eat out quit a bit and enjoy seeing new places and trying new food. The food was good but wasn't great. Our biggest concern was the price. We have eaten many places in the country and paid a lot for our meals. At times the food was well worth the price. We didn't feel $160.00 for food, dessert and an appetizer was appropriate. We do not drink alcohol so this price was for our food only. Not only do you pay for the meat (ours was $48) but also pay separately for the salad or soup and side dishes. If the TEN restaurant wants to remain relevant in their community, they need to consider readdressing their menu and pricing. Thanks
Company Christmas dinner
The service was a little slow, even for a night that wasn't that busy. We were also the only table that did not receive complimentary bread. Other than that, the food was great, as was the dessert. Will go back in the future!
Wasn't happy with my 1st martini; they redid it..... It was perfect! Great French Onion soup. Scallop entre was unique and delicious.
We had a girls Christmas party; great booth.... 3 hours later! So much fun
Went to TEN for a business meeting. Was seated next to a very loud group and was very difficult to hold a conversation because of the loud boisterous group that they sat us next to. Ordered a steak rare, it came out medium, sent back, came back as medium rare, was not satisfied but ate it anyway. Was told that they were short handed in the kitchen. Have eaten there before and had a great experience. Would think twice before I return.
TEN Restaurant’s chef had just unveiled his new menu three days before and our server said items were being well received. We were intrigued by her recommendation of the chicken confit with creole sauce, which was delightful. Tender and flavorful. Another of our party ordered the pork shoulder which was equally delicious and tender. We would recommend either dish.
We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary there , the food was phenomenal and the service was five plus stars. We will definitely be returning!! Thank you for making our night special!
I came to the restaurant with my daughter and two granddaughters, one of whom has severe food allergies and has to take her own food. She could only order a soda!! The waitress was very attentive to all of us, but especially the little allergy-prone one! We appreciate that always! She offered to bring her a plate to put her food on and was very pleasant. I was treating them to dinner before going to the Alberta Bair for the Nut Cracker Ballet. It was very nice! Thank you!!
Glad the Northern is restored!
Overall it was a very nice dining experience. Our waiter was very sweet and attentive. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant, but we had a relatively early reservation of 6:45 p.m. The traffic started picking up towards the end of our dinner. The bar, however, was pretty full and a band was starting to set up as we left. We did have a cocktail in the bar both before our dinner and after. It has a great atmosphere.
As for dinner, the menu is small, which is refreshing, but at the same time can be frustrating if you are a bit of a picky eater. Luckily I am not, but I do like a few more options than were available. In particular, all of the steak options were absolutely huge cuts and if I'm remembering correctly, not one option under $42, which, as a minimum price, is a little high for Billings. I went with the halibut option ($36) and my boyfriend had the roasted chicken ($20-something). He also started with the soup ($8), which was very good.
We both enjoyed our meals and opted for two desserts to finish off the meal since we were out for a special occasion (and we had a gift card!). We had the seasonal crème brûlée, which was brandy apple and very tasty. We also had the cherry tart. It was the seasonal special dessert. The tart was very good, but was topped with a chocolate mousse that seemed out of place on this particular dessert. It was just a weird combination and unnecessary. Also, the mousse was overly chocolatey and just not our favorite, although honestly we're not big chocolate eaters. If I were to order it again, I would ask them to substitute with some whipped cream or perhaps some vanilla ice cream. I will say the French press coffee I had with dessert was excellent!
Presilla was an excellent server that gave us outstanding service. Every detail was perfect!
The entire experience was lovely from the perfectly made martinis and delicious appetizers to our entres, which were unique creations. We were given plenty of time to enjoy every stage of the meal and best of all, our waiter, who was extremely personable, made our evening exceptional. Positively top-notch!
Fabulous evening. Food, service, atmosphere...perfection!
Pace of the meal was too slow
Fabulous! Wonderful food and service.
Not the fanciest decor - - - - but, it's principally about food and service, correct?
The food was superb and the service by Lou, our server, and the entire staff was first rate.
The service was exceptional. Our food was fantastic with one exception, scallops could have been cooked just a bit longer. The manager visited our table and made us feel welcome and took pictures for my birthday. Our only complaint is that there was a large group seated in the middle of the room and they were loud, which really was not your fault. I guess the people at that table didn't notice others were dining as well. They interrupted our evening. It would have been nice if there was a place where they could have been seated so everyone could have been more comfortable. Overall a very good experience and we will be back.
Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. We were there on a Monday night and it was just busy enough to be fun. Waiter Lou was perfect and the entire team gave us a signed card. Very sweet touch. Also, brought us a great slice of chocolate cake. Hope to travel through Billings again soon!
Love the rounded booths and the best pasta
Absolutely perfect, will drive out of my way to dine here again
Wonderful intimate setting with good food and dessert. Cocktails were amazing.
My wife and I were going to see Bonnie Raitt at 7 p.m. We'd made reservations for 5 p.m. because we were staying in the hotel and wanted to relax before the concert.
The serving staff in TEN were inattentive, at best. After half an hour in our seats we had to ask for a bread basket, and it took at least 10 minutes to arrive. Also had to ask for refills on our water and Iced tea throughout the meal.
My wife's tenderloin and chips were delicious - the meat cooked to her desires and the chips fresh and crispy. My appetizer of crab cake was good. The corn and parsnip soup, however, tasted like warm milk. Very bland.
Work on your service procedures and make a better soup.
This was our first experience at TEN and it was amazing. Our wait staff did a spectacular job of explaining specials, explaining some great cocktails and really made the event that much special. Thank you to everyone at TEN. We will be back for sure!!!!
Everything was so good. I had the porterhouse and my date had the waugu steak. Both best ever.
As usual, our food was wonderful! I've never been disappointed by Ten Restaurant or The Northern Hotel. Together they have an amazing weekend get-away. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful in explaining the menu and making suggestions for our dinner. The wine list is incredible! The waitress, Maddie (I think) even boxed our leftovers and saved them in the kitchen's refrigerator as we were there for a long weekend. I highly recommend the 'Ten Experience'!
Good and service were both excellent. Thomas was our server. He was attentive and professional.
Excellent locally sourced food and wonderful service!
Food was great, unfortunately not all food items listed were available.
As soon as you walk through the doors, the staff was ready to great you and get you seated. Everyone was friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The chef even came out to greet us and asked if he could answer any questions we may have had. After we finished eating, he came back out and asked about our meal. I love that! Thank you for the great experience TEN!
TEN is truly first-class dining in Billings--or anywhere!
Excellent service all around. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves @ TEN & we felt very welcomed.
Ten is one of our regular restaurants. Great food and great service. They were out of the wine we selected, and gave us a higher value wine at the price of our original selection. The manager apologized for not having our original choice.
Lou was a great waiter and we really appreciate the dessert and card for our anniversary! Thanks for everything!
