We went here for our anniversary dinner. Michael was our server and he was FANTASTIC! He helped me choose a wine and selected a great one that fit my taste, and found a great local beer for my husband to try. He also made some great recommendations, as far as food is concerned. I had the Ricotta Gnocchi with truffle pea purée and my husband had the Bouillabaisse, both of which were devoured, they were sooo good! Michael knew we were celebrating our anniversary and brought out a dessert plate for us, with a congrats message scrolled across the plate, along with a glass of rose champagne! Overall it was a great experience!
Yvonne our server was beyond accommodating. Best mezze plate I've had anywhere -- not just Florida. Excellent place for Mother's Day and any day!
We were disappointed about the cost. The buffet is not worth $115 + tip & gratuity = $145. Initially told cost $42 + tax & gratuity, not worth it. We felt cheated for Mother's Day brunch, won't go back.
Service. The assistant manager extremely accommodating. Buyabese and whole fish both very good
The wait staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. The ambiance wasn't bad either - sat on patio overlooking pool and beach.
Took us about 3 hours eat a simple first course and main course and that's only because I kept going up to ask for water- menus--plates to be cleared-bill. The choices were limited. Screaming children in a nice expensive restaurant.
Superb! I had a great time. Can't wait to visit again.
Easter brunch very expensive and disappointing.
Who does not have French toast and waffles for a brunch?
Cost close to The Breakers brunch. Should have gone there.
Won't be back
We were married the afternoon of our dinner and invited another couple to accompany us. Friday nights the restaurant has a seafood buffet. Two of us ordered the grouper and we both agreed it was overcooked. The raw oysters were small and tasteless. The rest of the food was all right, but felt , at $65.00 per person, it was overpriced. We would have liked tablecloths on the tables and felt the room was very noisy.
We wouldn't recommend the restaurant.
The service is very good, good setting but the food was not that great.
Nice Sunday buffet with ocean view. Everything was very tasty. Special to eat outside, unless you have more than 4 people
Great afternoon spent having a delicious lunch.
Would go back again when the Donald is not entertaining there.
Excellent choice for any occasion. Amazing food, deserts, sevice and views. Quaint, spacious, casual and elegant at the same time. You will absolutely love it and want to stay for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a few drinks too.
What a pleasant surprise this was! We chose Temple Orange because of its convenient location near our condo and will definitely return. My husband and I shared the mezze plate (a delicious variety of Mediterranean dips and olives) then followed that up with the shrimp scampi (my choice) and the bouillabaisse (my husband's selection). The only negative was that the bouillabaisse didn't have a lot of seafood or broth. Terrific wait staff and beautiful view overlooking the hotel's terrace, fire pit and the ocean.
Visited this restaurant for the breakfast buffet and dinner. I would recommend trying the breakfast buffet but would avoid dinner.
The breakfast buffet has a large selection of items and is worth the price.
Dinner menu is small and nothing stood out. Members of our party tried steak, seafood, raw bar, and multiple desserts. All the food was fine but nothing was spectacular and definitely not worth the price.
Service at all Eau restaurants and bars is very good.
It was seafood night. Best endless fresh selection of everything seafood. Great attention to detail and everything was well stocked.
Not as good as other meals there
Wagyu beef overcooked
Hostess seated us promptly. Had asked to be near the window and we had a great table.
Jerzy, our waiter, was attentive and even managed to get us peach juice so we could enjoy the Veuve Rich as bellinis. The "bottomless bar" option included Veuve Rich with fresh adds (cucumbers, orange zest were our favorites), and the always appreciated Bloody Mary. The woman barmaid (forgot her name - darn) was very helpful and pleasant.
The food was EXCELLENT, with many options, ranging from shrimp and smoked salmon to freshly made omelettes, fruits, quiches, muffins, Mediterranean sides, quinoa, salads, and excellent small desserts. This is definitely a foodie haven/heaven!
The restaurant is within the well-appointed resort hotel and we wandered the grounds a bit after brunch, champagne in hand. ON the water, there is a beautiful beach, large well-maintained pool and grounds.
We took a peek at the spa and a room. I will be BACK for a romantic getaway with my husband. :)
Absolutely wonderful expirience! Had the market special Pompano and the watermelon salad to start... cocktails were spectacular! Planning the next date.
Ask for Phillips to be your server. Fantastic!
Very enjoyable lunch!the burgers were the best in Palm Beach!
Wonderful service and the Portebella burger was awesome!
We always have a great meal here. Wait staff are always friendly.
Three of us went for Sunday Brunch on New Year's Day. It was WONDERFUL! We've never been to Temple Orange before, but we will be back! First of all, $42 (+tax&tip extra) per person is a BARGAIN for the lavish, sophisticated (and tasty) buffet that was offered, the gorgeous setting (indoors is beautiful; outdoors is even better because it's right on the beach), and the highly professional, courteously attentive service. For an extra $22 (plus more tax & tip), you can get unlimited beverages (this can be dangerous!), and the mixology (some of it do-it-yourself) is somewhere between intriguing and fantastic. Two of us had bottomless Veuve Cliquot (Extra-Dry, not Brut, but the slight sweetness worked well with the brunch offerings). We chose not to try any of the myriad items offered for "infusion" but as I noted above they were intriguing.
You feel like you are on vacation when eating at the restaurant.
We are vegetarian and with this limitation, still had plenty to choose from the menu. Our server was a very pleasant person. I would recommend this place anytime.
We dined here on Christmas Day; the ambiance was just beautiful; the food was mostly breakfast and a few lunch items. Many of the food items seemed healthier than other brunches, beautifully presented. Only criticism was trying to get an ordinary spoon several times because the bean counters have done away with them in restaurants. We loved the Greek items, in addition to the best omelet I have ever had. The prime rib was a great treat!
Jeremy, Hunter, n specialty chef were outstanding. A bit noisy, but to be expected with the holidays. I would have liked to have seen more salads n fruit choices like their standard brunches.
Pleasantly surprised by rich flavorful salads and really enjoyed the Meze board. Cant wait to return! Best kept secret...
Very fresh and good seasonings
The food was not as good as the online reviews I had read. The pancakes were cold like just out of the refrigerator. The mimosas took asking for 3 times before I received one. Then the charge online and in person was supposed to be $18 but they charged me $22. The shrimp was only one shrimp per cup and deserts were also limited to very small portions which limits how much you could put on your plate.
We stay at the hotel often and eat Breakfast at Temple Orange everyday and it is Great. For fine Dining at this Hotel we dine at their High End and very good restaurant, Angle.
The problem is Temple Orange has a hard time trying to be a high end restaurant for dinner- it is just not working!
Tried it again on this trip and was worse than last trip. Order of calamari tempora came out as over fried "stuff". The waiter agreed that plate was filled with fried stuff. Then tried the special Whole Fish - Pompano. It looked great on the grilled outside but could not be eaten because it was raw inside and meat could not be separated from the bone! Chef came out and apologized and offered free desert. Not equal to the $49 fish.
Couple next to us also had "problem" and had to send food back.
Would suggest Temple Orange go to Tapas and Small Plate Menu in a casual atmosphere for dinner, an expansion of Stir, which had more customers!
Love the Hotel and everything else but not Temple Orange for Dinner.
We were shocked to see that this dining room, Temple Orange, is also used for the late breakfast of the hotel guests. Very noisy, children running around, relatively small room, tiny tables and a very limited menu. I ordered wine - instead of bringing the bottle to table and offering a taste, two glasses were brought. The waiter only offered a smile when I asked about it. Even though we were only two, the check came with 18% service added.
Choices are always exceptional at Temple Orange. The burger is one of the best anywhere. And the lunch buffet is incredible. Two soups, mini sandwiches, cold cuts, eggs, multiple salad options with 5 different kinds of greens and 6 dressings. Every possible vegetable was also available. A very sumptuous buffet.
food from the buffet table was not hot. The scrambed eggs and hash browns were too cold to enjoy.
Nice setting in hotel. Somewhat limited menu but a bit of each choice (one chicken, a few fish, a few veggie). Well prepared, nice flavoring, considering top tier hotel, ok value. Overall enjoyed and nice if staying as guest on property.
We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They went above board with everything from the champagne, dessert and special attention throughout the night. It was clear that the staff, particularly our server Michael, was completely focused on making our night as special as possible. It was a memorable evening.
This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. We ate outdoors and the view and the service was top notch. We can't wait to go back.
We went there for our anniversary dinner and liked the ambiance and location. Our server was very attentive and gracious though our food was delayed. My husbands steak had to be sent back as wasn't cooked as per the order. To compensate they took off the drinks off the tab and brought a decorated dessert plate with anniversary wishes. The manager came out to apologize and everyone was very gracious. Lovely experience overall. Beautiful ocean view, should be great for lunch due to the view.
