Took a friend there for lunch for her birthday. The surroundings And service was excellent however other than the desert the main meal was not up to expectations. My guest could not eat her meal. Half of mine was good the rest of it I couldn’t even eat. They accommodated us with a reduction in our bill which was very nice on their part however I don’t think I’ll be going there again very soon

We had a fabulous evening at Temple Orange last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food and level of service was phenomenal, and the pastry chef surprised us with a scrumptious dessert that was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. I highly recommend Temple Orange for any occasion. You won’t be disappointed.

My friend and I always celebrate our birthday with a lunch at Temple Orange at the Eau . As usual it was lovely and delicious. The staff always give us a birthday treat, candle and a serenade!

Service was horrible and I will not be returning. I have never seen so much staff looking busy and not tending to patrons. You expect at a buffet at an establishment on this caliber the following 1) offer you something to drink when they bring you water and tell you to help yourself to the buffet 2) clear your plate when done and 3) check on you within 10 minutes of bringing you your check...none of this happened and frankly I received better service at casual dining restaurant. It was a manager that cleared our plates and whom I needed to ask for a glass of wine and then had to ask a different manager for my second glass. My expectations are not off base, we regularly dine at both casual and fine dining restaurants and this was just BAD.

Greek salad was just a salad with some olives thrown in nothing special. If you want a piece of bread with dinner it’s $7. Drinks are tiny. Just expensive mediocre food

Very nice restaurant in this elegant hotel. Not the most expensive restaurant in the hotel, but expensive enough. Dinner for four was over $200 with moderate alcohol intake. Food was very well prepared but not innovative. Absolutely beautiful setting with opportunity for outdoor dining if the weather cooperates (was very warm, humid and windy when we were there, so ate indoors.

We were celebrating my birthday. When one of us received a meal that did not appear to be as described and had too much heavy tomato sauce for her to eat, the restaurant was more than willing to make a change and did so very quickly. The three meals we had were very very good. The service was excellent. The view from their patio of the ocean and pool was lovely. All in all a very lovely experience.

Food just wasn't good. It looked nice, but tasteless. Both of us agreed. We
would not return unless new chef. Lovely view, quiet because no one else
was there for lunch. (2 tables only occupied the entire time we were there. That's
a clue.)

Had a very enjoyable dinner. The service was excellent, a manager came by a few times to ask
about our meal and was very friendly. The menu was
very interesting and prepared to perfection. We sat outside on the terrace and the overall mood and vibe was absolutely perfect. We will go again.. every time we visit Eau Palm Beach we enjoy all their restaurants.. great job!

Worst ever, items offered on the menu, then ordered. Only to be told they don’t serve it on Mondays, a resort no less.
Who doesn’t offer bread (of any kind) at lunch with a salad?
Great environment, ruined by lax service and terrible communication.

The ambience and service are first class. Unfortunately , the food is not well prepared and overpriced for food quality, but not service. The pappardelle with half lobster featured a pea pesto that was tepid , unflavorful and lacked spices. The tiny half lobster was broiled a bit too long. No bread is served, but a very good fooccio is available for a price. The risotto was fine, the ragu of short rib ok, but not as flavorful as the ones I have had.The pasta was very heavy and I believe homemade , but lacked the quality of others. Seafood sampler was very good, as was the seafood salad. The greek salad was a travesty--no feta , a few olives, mini half tomato, and mostly lettuce. So Temple Orange restaurant needs a new master chef.

Great seafood mezza followed by the charred octopus. Really amazing and creative. My husband had the bronzino which was the best he’s ever had. I had an awesome filet that was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Desert was sweet but not overwhelming. Service was impeccable and friendly.

I have dined at this restaurant, or its predecessors when the Eau was a Ritz Carlton, for at least 20yrs. I believe that they very recently put in place a new menu. It appears that the restaurant’s objective was some sort of nouveau-like cafe with foods from Greece, Italy, and Spain (open table menu is incorrect but hotel/restaurant website menu is correct). The food is universally heavy and laden with being over thought. The soup- a kale and bean soup - is so heavily salted that it seems like salt with small amount of soup added. It was indelible. The vegetables are cooked fine but the cauliflower was tasteless. The selections are narrow and generally obscure. As an entrepreneur and former restaurant owner, I would strongly advise that Temple Orange would be prudent to cut its losses and revert to their old menu that worked well across generations of patrons with different eating sensibilities.
What a shame!

Well I have to say we were disappointed. Temple Orange is one of our favorite places to dine. We probably go every couple of weeks. Now, the menu has changed and it is not great. Imagine a Restaurant on the ocean with only 2 fish choices; Mackerel and Bronzini. No local snapper, no local Grouper, no local anything. The menu was an odd mix of Greek, Italian and Spanish foods. Of course the staff and the location are still outstanding. Hopefully the chef will think local and ocean and change the menu. 5 stars for staff and location. 3 for food.

I had eaten there in low season and it was awesome. However, this last visit was entirely different. The watermelon salad was not what the menu described or what I had eaten before. It was sent back to the kitchen for a replacement. By the time the replacement arrived, my partner was finished with his entree. I asked that it be boxed for take home and now it exists in the refrigerator. I doubt if I will eat it...ruined my dining experience and for that reason, I will not be back. BTW...I paid full price for it.

The Eau has a wonderful reputation and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. It was an accumulations of lots of little things. We decided to sit outdoors because the interior was too cold...really cold. Outside, our seats felt damp. (the shades were pulled as it had been raining) We changed chairs but then the seat cushions was badly stained - flipped it , all resolved. The waiter came while I had walked inside to look at the buffet and explained things to my husband rather than waiting for us both to be there. Did not get the "welcome" that would have been expected. We went to the champagne bar - the bartender was very nice. The seafood bar next to it was fine. It included shrimp, crab claws and oysters. The shrimp were good, crab claws not so much - had been frozen and were soggy/falling apart. I did not have the oysters. With a plate in one hand and a glass in the other, we had to go through doors to the outside. With three people at the hostess stand only a couple feet away, none opened the door for us on several occasions until I politely asked for assistance. Items on the buffet were mismarked (no mozzarella balls on skewers) or not marked..what was the soup?? Overall, the food on the buffet was medium. Nothing stood out except for the omelette and prime rib station and dessert table. The chef doing omelettes and prime rib was professional and did a great job. Wait staff when removing dishes always forgot the napkin, straw or even the empty glasses. I guess it all surprised me a little from the Eau where I expected more attentive service and a little higher end Sunday buffet brunch.

Hugely overpriced buffet brunch . $65 per person for an average at best selection and a $25 add on for mimosas and blood Mary’s. One of the most ridiculously priced buffets I’ve ever seen , was tempted to walk out when I heard the pricing and should have. Would never go back. Others were also complaining about the pricing to management.

We were four locals celebrating my husband’s birthday... though we do live in the area, this was all of our first time there, and what a wonderful discovery. We had a delicious dinner, after drinks and nibbles in the hotel lounge where there was a trio playing, and nothing was ever rushed or too much of a special request. The entire evening, the food, the ambience outside, dining near the fire-pit, with a crisp breeze coming in off of the sea all made for a very enjoyable get together. The Meze plate with Mediterranean appetizers, the filet mignon, the chicken and fish dishes ordered, service, ambience - all of it made for an exceptional yet still low key celebration, just as we like it., we will be returning, and often!

This is the third year in a row that my husband and I have had our New Year’s dinner at Temple Orange (located in the Eau Resort). Apart from the convenience (the resort is just down the street from where we stay), the ambience and the service can’t be beat. Request an outside table and you’ll be overlooking the resort’s gorgeous property (fire pit, pool with a waterfall, the ocean...). While we found this year’s menu to a bit more limited than in previous years, the food was still perfect and our waiter was attentive and helpful (even offering us hats and horns despite our telling him that we weren’t guests of the resort).
