We went to Temazcal for the first time before a concert at the Blue Hills Pavillion. We were fortunate to sit outside on a beautiful summer evening.

Overall, I liked it. It's a fun place and the service was friendly. The portions are big and we ordered too much food. The entrees are on the expensive side for a Mexican restaurant. I really liked the tuna lettuce wrap tacos. Next time I might just order that and an appetizer or salad, and of course a margarita.

I would definitely recommend it!

Great modern take on Mexican food and drink. Very popular place on the waterfront near Blue Hills Bank Pavilion concert venue.

Took at least 5 minutes to be given water or chips but I didn’t mind because I was catching up with my friend. They realized themselves and apologized right when they realized. Food was excellent. My order of chicken tacos was put in as nachos, so I had to wait for my tacos while my friend ate her fajitas, but I didn’t really care. The food was good, the service was otherwise good, the drinks were strong. I would return. Enjoyed sitting on the water.

Ordered the Guac app to start - always delicious. We both ordered tacos as the entree - skirt steak for me, salmon for him. Both were disappointing. The steak was bland and the corn tortillas added nothing. The salmon tacos tasted good but were wrapped in lettuce and dell apart almost immediately. The table for 2 was also very cramped considering we ordered a normal amount of food. View made up for most of it.

We arrived early and were seated right away at a nice outside table as requested. great Harbor view for a Preshow dinner. Lively bar scene inside but we were able to enjoy our meal and talk quite easily. Our Waiter was fast and friendly. The lobster guacamole was a nice change of pace and our meals were delicious. my wife had the Swordfish and I had the mixed grill. For desert I tried the Flan which was rich and delicious. My wife had the brownie with ice cream and she approved with 2 thumbs up!

It was nice to arrive at a restaurant where having a reservation actually means something. Immediately seated at window table in lounge area. Only drawback was the traffic through the bar area made us feel like we'd have other patrons joining us at our table. Manager did address the issue quietly and professionally. Much appreciated!

On vacation and we wanted a good Mexican restaurant. We ordered the quack mole which was delicious, very fresh. Also had the sangria blanco, per waiter’s suggestion. We ordered calamari which was excellent as well. My husband ordered the scallops which he said were on the sweet side but he said they were cooked really well. I got the chicken enchiladas and they were really good.

Overall very good! We got drinks, appetizers and an entree here! The service was great, the drinks were amazing, and the portions were good sizes. My only criticism would be that it is very loud in this restaurant.

Had a reservation we made weeks in advance for a pre-concert dinner out with my husband. Was sat int eh busy bar area, where bar patrons were hovering near us the entire meal. Bas was so packed, you couldn't hold a conversation. Given that we had the reservation, outside seating should have been offered. Asked for no rajas in the quesadilla, and it had rajas in it that appeared to be partially scraped out. Wasn't impressed

The food at Temazcal is excellent but we found the service a bit spotty. A Tuesday night on a gorgeous evening and the place was bustling, but it took the server 20-25 minutes to appear and take our drink order. After that she was more attentive and once ordered, everything arrived quickly. If you have a group, try the lobster guacamole. The meat of an entire lobster over a bowl of homemade guac that is a meal in itself. Mole and shrimp fajitas were delicious. Come for the harbor views, stay for the food and drink.

The drinks and food were great! It's a little pricey, but honestly that's every restaurant in the Seaport district. Unless you're stopping in for lunch on a weekday, a reservation is a must. The views are great whether you sit out on the patio or indoors to to all of the windows. The hostess and wait staff could use some additional training in overall hospitality.

My wife and I made reservations to have dinner before a concert at the Blue Hills Pavilion in Boston. We loved it. The staff was very friendly and the drinks and food were great. They had wonderful outdoor patio style seating right on the water, which was perfect. They also were very accommodating, when friends showed up that were not on our reservation and they managed to get us all a table together. Would definitely recommend and go there again!

Food is uneven. Ambiance is very loud. You might say raucous. Depending upon what you're looking for, it could get in the way. Table service was good, but the host/hostess were not.

First of all the staff was wonderful. Hosts were trying their best to make an overwhelmed restaurant function. Our waitress knew we had a concert time and really worked to get our food out in time.
It was a horrific night weather wise and their patio seating was eliminated- sort of. They had lingering customers. Lots of people without reservations looking for bar seating.
IMO ... not an unusual occurrence given their location next to a popular concert destination. Our reservation time was not honored. We waited 40 minutes and finally sat on the rainy patio just to get fed before our show. I think they could have managed this better.
Would I go again? I would give it another chance because of the staff!

Food was quite good. The wait staff probably needs to get more training on the gluten free options. Our server was very nice, very gracious, but he was just a bit unsure of the menu details. The Fish Tacos were excellent, The gluten free salmon tacos, which are really grilled pieces of salmon in Boston Lettuce wraps, were also very good. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Our server should have explained what we would be getting with the gluten free dish. Not a big deal, but it was hard to determine what was what without guidance from our server.

The weather was fabulous, so we sat outside on the deck. Lovely. I think that it would still be a good spot even if the weather was bad, because there is a lot of inside seating with water views. It was very quiet--it was the middle of the week, at lunch. Not sure if it would be a lot more noisy for dinner and during high season on a weekend at lunch.

used to be a favorite spot of my boyfriend and mine. went for his 30th birthday. lobster guac was very good. was as loud as a club which was obnoxious. entrees were good at best, server was awful. was absent for entire meal, has to flag him down after 20+ minutes of being left with a check to make payment. desert was never offered, water not refilled, took sangria away without serving the last bit. had to ask for togo boxes multiple times and pack food ourselves. restaurant was not busy. pretty much ruined our special occasion.... will not be back during "peak"hours....best bet is a weekday lunch.

Went here for dinner (a reservation is a MUST) with friends and it was perfect. The service is impeccable. They are friendly, attentive, and informative. The margaritas are delicious and they don't use sour mix! The food was to die for and the flan was the best I have had this far north. The water view is a lovey addition to what was a fabulous meal. There was also a pretty vibrant classy bar scene to join after dinner. I have already recommended this place to three friends for separate occasions. I will absolutely be coming back for more!

The location was great. The food was very good except I would not recommend the fajitas. I had the steak fajita. It was greasy and the steak consisted of very small strips with lots of onions and very few peppers and it was very greasy. It also didn't come with any cheese.
Everyone else loved there meals. Service was excellent. It was pricey but to be expected in the Seaport area.
