I’m mexican and this place is one of the best mexican places in town.
Great food, drinks and atosphere! I highly recommend!
Enjoyed a working business lunch , great service quiet atmosphere very good menu.
Went for and early lunch on a Sunday. Only ones there but the staff could not have been nicer. My friend has a gluten allergy and they were beyond accommodating!
The food here is really good and they have a wide variety of tequila to choose from. Great place for dinner or meeting up with friends.
Compared to our favorite mexican restaurant in Boca Raton:
The chicken soup was too thin and too spicey.
The tacos were good but the rice was just thrown on the platter. Could have been formed. Chicken was ample but pieces too big for the taco.
The guacamole we usually get, the ingredients that go on top are served on the side in separate bowls and added when served. Very cool that way...much more impressive!!
The margherita was good but we like frozen ones. Lots of ice cubes not so much drink. Glass not rimmed completely with salt. Lime slice floating, looked old.
The view was great!
The waiter very friendly.
The room seemed small but cozy.
We plan to go back and order differently.
The prices were fine but our favorite mexican restaurant is better foodwise.
Great food and service will definitely go again
We were there for an engagement celebration. Lovely ambience and food was tasty! Service was very attentive.
One of our guest was disappointed that they did not serve frozen Margaritas and commented the restaurant was a little bit on the loud side. Other than that it was really great.
Empanadas were my favorite, dessert was great. View was impeccable.
Food wasn’t tasty. I had the mole enchiladas and so disappointed of the dryness, poor sauce amount and one of my friends order fish tacos and first they came as chicken tacos and when finally she got them were without any taste.
Red sangria and fresca cocktail were amazing though!
Everything was outstanding
Excellent food, service was great. It was very busy Saturday night, but we were well taken care of
First time trying out the restaurant and had a wonder time. Drinks were superb; appetizers were fast and delicious and food was fresh and flavorful! Our waiter gave excellent recommendations and kept an eye on us throughout the evening!!
Great margaritas, quick service and food, and amazing chips and salsa and guac!
Love the food, margaritas and ambiance at Temazcal! Parking is always tough at the Seaport unless you valet and it is a bit pricey for Mexian food, but worth it for a night out!
Business dinner with nice atmosphere. Not too loud so conversations could be heard. Manager stopped by to check in, which was very nice. Food was good - cod fish tacos were tasty. Good margarita selection.
Great spot for Mexican fare in the Seaport. Not much to look at from the sidewalk but once you get inside it is a beautiful dining room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Boston Harbor. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. Will return soon!
We literally got up and left, we were seated and no one came over with water, drink, anything.
Horrible, I will never go back.
Presentation of food was disappointing. Drinks were disappointing. Margaritas not served in a margarita glass. Too much ice not much drink. Service was not great. Food was just okay.
Great food selection- nice flavors - good value- great lunch location
The ahi tuna salad was very good and a great non-carb heavy alternative.
Great dining, great service, and great ambience. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!
The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it.Nice location but the service wasn't that much.
We ordered the shrimp ceviche to start and were disappointed by the dish. It tasted (and looked) like a bowl of tomato sauce with cooked shrimp & chopped avocado added after, with a single sprig of cilantro on top. It was far from the tasty/citrusy/limey deliciousness that ceviche should be.
Next I was trying to decide between two wine options, and was pleasantly surprised when our server offered to bring a taste of each. This quickly helped me make a good decision. The service was great all night!
For the main dish, we ordered the salmon tacos and the rojo enchiladas. Both were good - beautifully presented and tasty. I was surprised that the salmon tacos were in lettuce wraps (hadn't noticed that on the menu) and wish the server had confirmed that's what I wanted. The enchiladas were a good portion and flavorful but nothing overly special.
Last, there was a fly buzzing around our table the whole time which really took away from the entire atmosphere of our date night.
Manager and waiter where underwhelming.
Ironically the food and the support staff was great!
Waiter was far from attentive,, totally head not in the game. Literally was ready to walk. You know. Wave down any waiter to help is close out our tab.
Manager. Shady from the start, never checked in at the table, walked by him when we left, Too busy to say good evening or thank you....yea sorry excuse us for walking thru your conversation with the bar tender.
Umm I think something has changed at the restaurant not sure we are about to return anytime soon.
Great food and tasty drinks. Beautiful location on the water, with outdoor seating in nice weather and views through big windows when you can’t sit outside.
Mentioned I am Celiac/have a gluten allergy and they took it upon themselves to bring out every meal from the manager. Always a good sign. Didn’t get sick. So thankful for people that actually care and don’t see gluten free as a fad.
Service was good and food too. A bit loud but a great experience none the less.
Deafening sound and we are normally the loud people. Prices a touch high for the creativity/quality.
First time there! First trip to Boston. Drinks were good!
My meal was not what I ordered and they took it away and brought new dish. Waiter was ok, nice enough but not really friendly.
Good food and service. Modest prices. Amazing views. More local fish options would be nice.
We were late for our reservations due to traffic from a car accident and they were very accommodating and understanding of the situation. The food was smacking (especially the nachos) and I appreciated how the dessert said happy birthday on it!
Very tasty food and nice setting. Good value for portion size and restaurant situation
I was heading to concert at BLue Hills so made a reservation here for the convenience. We were seated at one of the high top tables in the bar area. The drinks were good, as was the service. The food was just average, and on the pricey side for what it was. 2 tacos with rice and beans for $20. The grilled chicken was definite pre-prepped and reheated. The biggest problem was how crowded the bar area was. It was so loud we could barely talk to each other and people kept bumping into our table. It was just 2 of us at a table for 4 so we could sit away from the crowds but with 3 or 4 at the table, it would have been really unpleasant. I might go back if I was on my way to another show, but would not go out of my way to eat there.
Walking distance to two different convention centers and the Blue Hills Pavillion (concert venue) this place is a must for Mexican dining, incredible tequila list, and bar scene with a beautiful view of Boston Harbor!
Would not recommend. We go out to eat a lot and this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve EVER had. We waited for our server for 20 min before we asked the bartender if someone was going to come by especially since the people behind us who came in after us ordered and got chips & salsa already. Finally a server came by and never brought us chips & salsa. We had to ask 3 different people for it and didn’t end up getting it until AFTER our food came out. Food was OK but came out cold and not worth the terrible service. This was a Sunday with plenty of wait staff so business was not an excuse.
Service was very nice and polite. My meal came out not hot enough. Too much sauce. The other two guests said the meal was ok. It's an ok restaurant, chips and dip are top notch, worth going for drinks and chips dip and guac.
Server was great! Drinks were good but spent too much money!
