Restaurant Tek-Nique is a Chef owned establishment! Chef/owner Matthew Trottier was formally trained at the Culinary Institute of America. He has worked at: The Inn at Little Washington, Opryland Hotel, The Stonehedge Inn, The Bedford Village Inn, Michael Timothy"s, C R Sparks and Giorgio's. He and his well trained staff are constantly coming up with new ideas that are sure to delight your tastebuds! Many people have asked, why we chose the name Tek-Nique. The variety of definitions of technique are as follows; the way in which a skilled process is carried out, a method of accomplishing a desired aim, the way in which fundamentals are handled, and a procedure used to accomplish a specific task. All of that may not seem like much, but when you combine it with all the synonyms; skill, art, performance, craft, touch, know how, facility, delivery, execution, knack, artistry, craftsmanship and proficiency. We think it very well describes Matt and how the food will be prepared.

This restaurant is closed permanently but we made reservations only to go and find the door closed and a corn stalk by the door. Someone really should have notified OPEN TABLE. Very disappointed and not very thoughtful of the owners.

The restaurant was shut down. Closed. Out of business. Why would you have an option to make a reservation? We of course didn't know until we drove out of our way to get there

Tek Nique in Bedford NH closed on 4/2/2018 permanently. We went all the way to Bedford to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday, to find the restaurant was closed. We went through your company, who apparently has no one who keeps up to date on current statuses of area restaurants!!!!! At this time, I am telling others not to book through your company!

We made a reservation on April 3 for April 14. We arrived to find an empty parking lot, no lights on in the building and doors locked. Their website doesn't yet indicate that the business has closed and is still accepting reservations online. Totally unacceptable customer service.

I arrived for our reservation and discovered the restaurant is permanently closed. Neither the prior owner or the new owner had the courtesy of alerting us to the closing.

I made a reservation on-line for Easter Sunday weeks in advance. At the time there was nothing listed on the website that they would be doing buffet only for food service that day. If I had known I would have made a reservation somewhere else. The food was nothing spectacular, which was disappointing also.

My last review for Technique was much better than this one. I absolutely love the wine pairing dinners as well as the dinner we had for our anniversary just a few weeks ago. Sad to say the Easter Brunch did not live up to their usual high standards. The buffet that was available was more like something you would see in a hotel free breakfast and the omelet station wasn't much better. An upscale restaurant like Teknique should have done better. The food was nothing special and didn't look at all appetizing. The trays had not been refreshed for a while and it looked picked over. All this said - this review applies ONLY to the Easter brunch - I love this restaurant for dinner but will not be coming back for another brunch.

Just went there today for Easter Brunch. With the exception of a kind and friendly server, everything food related was a huge disappointment. First of all there was never any notification it would be a buffet brunch instead of a sit down meal. Tek Nique has a great reputation for dinner and with good food and quality service. I am not sure what happened but the presentation of the brunch looked unappetizing and thrown together. There was culinary presence with no quality control. All of the sauces looked old and congealed The bacon pan had 2 inches of oil sitting in it and I watched a fresh batch of bacon come in that was burnt. I walked away with a plate of grilled vegetables and sliced tomatoes. I ordered an omelette from the omelette station with veggies and feta. It arrived with raw vegetables and unmelted cheese. A good omelette is not that difficult to make. All of the desserts were presented and tasted like they were purchased in bulk. To charge a person $35 a person for that kind of restaurant experience is insulting. I will never risk giving it another chance.

The food and service were excellent. Josh was an excellent server, polite, friendly and attentive. I had a fall off the bone tender pork shank served with outstanding sweet potato and spinach and my wife had the lamb sirloin which was cooked perfectly and served with a medley of delicious roasted vegetables. The cocktails and desert were equally delicious. We're looking forward to going back and recommend anyone to give it a try.
