Great experience; management and wait staff upbeat and professional. The food was above average quality, presented in style and exceptionally fresh.
I wanted to hug the chef
Very nice restuarant. We have been at Teikokou many time. It's good everytime.
Service is very good too.
My husband and I have been to this Restaurant many times. Food is great with a menu that everyone can find something to order. The noise level in the room we were in was so loud I had to practically lay across the table to talk with my friend. Ask for the dining room, not where the Sushi bar is.
Wonderful as usual!!
First time there. Interesting, fresh presentations of food.
Haven't made it there over the past few years and returning definetely didn't disappoint. The house salad is one of my favs.
Went there on a weeknight for a friend's birthday. We wanted a long, slow, delicious meal at our own pace and was able to get just that. Food was good with plenty of reasonably priced menu options, along with a few high-priced ones. Service was very professional. I've been to Teikoku several times over the last few years with friends, coworkers and business associates. Generally always pleased with the experience. Besides the basics of good food, reasonable prices and good service, I appreciate that it's quiet enough for conversation and low on the kid quotient so a nice atmosphere nice for a date, business or otherwise.
GREAT! We love this restaurant. The quality, selection, service, and atmosphere is exactly what we want.
Sunday Brunch has an outstanding selection of Sushi, Thai, Japanese and American foods and desserts. Brunch at Taikoku is a great experience and a very good value!
Food was great. Restaurant was very crowded, we had a reservation and still waited 15 minutes for a table. Restaurant was very loud.
Lovely time, but cold inside. The food however was outstanding!
Service was fast and attentive, food was wonderful, I got the Kobe beef got rock, house greens and beef short rib with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was very flavorful, I loved every bite. I got the cheesecake for dessert which was amazing. Atmosphere was nice and not too loud, and I like the style its decorated in.
Would recommend highly.
The food was very good the service was horrible our waitress could not handle the two tables she had! We were sat at our table. Waited 20 minutes to order the drinks ! When they brought the drinks they brought only one ! Then waited another 15 minutes to get the other 3! Then waited another 15 mintutes to order our food. She did not come back to table for awhile someone brought food by this point she still has not come to table. Half way threw eatting I flagged her down so we could have another drink that we would wait along time for once again! At this point she has not been seen so once again I ask another waitress to find her we would like our check! She comes asked how was dinner gave check! I will never go back! A waitress represents the restaurant , she made them look really bad! I did forget the most important part! We were there for a 21’s birthday. The birthday girl ordered a sake thinking she would be carded. But was not! When we ordered our second drinks after we all drank the first one she then says to 21 year old . You are 21 right? Omg are you kidding me! You already served her!now you ask!
I wanted sushi for lunch, the photos & reviews looked good enough to try. It was Sunday and they only offered a buffet. We were seated for 10 minutes before we were told that was all they were offering. Food was cold, vegetables were hard in the gyoza, and the sushi was AWFUL !!! I noticed our water glasses were dirty and the plates by the buffet were filthy as well. I had a small plate to try, paid, and left. We do not plan on returning, gross!
Great service and wonderful food. Large selection for all
It was our second time there so we each ordered totally different from our previous visit and the chefs once again delivered! The food was delicious again, we will definitely be dining there more its has become one of our favorite spots.
Great waiter. Even though it was busy he kept us informed and food was out fast enough.
The Presentation of All Courses is Fantastic. Service is 1st Rate. The Staff is Knowledgeable. The Atmosphere is Perfect For A Pan-Asian Diner Spot. It is Quaint For Special Occasions, Just Dining Out, Or a 1st Date. It Offers A Good Value With A Broad Range Of Choices. There is Something For Everyone.
Very good restaurant with quality and fresh ingredients. The place has a lot of space and seating, with a decorative bar centered in the middle of the restaurant. My girlfriend and I ordered the seaweed salad and a few rolls. We were very pleased with our order.
Excellent food, nice comfortable restaurant. Great menu!
Always come here and has never been less than 5 /5 stars. I had a waiter named Ron I believe who was extremely helpful during a busy evening on Valentine’s Day. He made sure we were taken care of and always checked on. He really gave us a wonderful experience. The food was perfect and the steaks always melt in your mouth and are cooked perfectly. There is noise but your able to dine with out a problem in hearing. Highly recommend this place. The price and quality match.
Great food and service
Me and my wife had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the slow braised short ribs. Definitely plan to come back
We truly enjoyed our experience and we will be back soon :)
Food is always fabulous and consistent. Atmosphere is very nice and would be a good date option. Servers are attentive but not hovering. First on my list.
And friend and I are out of towners in West Chester visiting another friend. Found this place on a google search and after reading the menu and the reviews decided this was a great place for dinner. We thought the exterior was lovely but once we stepped inside, it felt like we were in a Japanese village. Beautifully designed and decorated. The ambience was fantastic. Service was great and the food even better. I love the creative hand crafted cocktails! The specials offered during this particular night all sounded amazing and made it hard to choose. We decided to share a few things so that we could try a few different items and it was a GREAT idea. We had the gyoza, spring rolls (yum!), and special sushi roll to share. The spring rolls were amazing. The gyoza was pretty standard. The special roll was fantastic! I had the Diver Scallops as my entree which were spectacular. They were huge! The orzo and the saffron cream sauce was so tasty. My friend had the shrimp pad thai which was also great. Then we had the special dessert, the fruit tart. The way it was presented was beautiful. I thought I was just getting a fruit tart but on the plate was also a fruit mousse and a creamy and delicious panna cotta. AMAZING! We've already talked about going back the next time we're in town!
Great selection of fresh fish entrees. Pleasant setting and surroundings.
Delicious as always
Teukoku is our go to for a get together with friends. Our recent visit was an introduction to their new cocktail and dinner menu. It was another wonderful experience. Drinks and food met all expectations. Service was exceptional. Our server, Rachel was knowledgeable and her recommendations for cocktails and food were spot on. Recommend the great. Recommend two new items, the Solstice Serrenade and surf and turf roll.
I've been here for their Sunday brunch and Friday night dinner...both were excellent! Can't wait to go back!
Excellent food as always. Avocado salad, chay roll, lobster bisque and the best rock shrimp. Light and flavorful.
Table next to us sat dirty the entire time we were there. Our drinking glasses had to be exchanged for clean ones. Hot and sour soup was not appealing to look at. However sushi was great and loved basil chicken. Usually this place great may have been an off day. Will definitely try again
we first dined here 15 years ago. it has a special ambience & menu that makes it anniversary-worthy!
Had booked a reservation but still had to wait over 30 min for table. Very long wait for food also after placing order.
Last Saturday evening we arrived at Teikoku on time for a 6:00pm reservation. We had tickets for a 7:30 movie at Edgemont Theatre. Our waiter came fairly soon and took our drink order. When he brought our drinks we ordered our first course and main course. Our first courses came a little later than we had expected, and they were good. Then we waited and waited and asked the waiter to check on our food. Finally at 7:15 we asked our waiter to make our food to "go"!. He went into the kitchen and brought out our order. We charged the $118.00 for our food. We were able to get to the movie at 7:35. We had our duck dinner at 10:00pm after warming it in the microwave, It was very good.
When we left, many, many people were waiting.
Delicious! Excellent food, drinks and service!
The food and service was great! I will go back and recommend the restaurant to other people.
Great as always. Asian fusion food and sushi that we enjoy every time!0
