Tee-Jay Thai Sushi - Wilton Manors
Food and service are spot on!
We have dined here before and enjoyed our meal which is why we returned. The food this time around, although good, was not quite up to par. Finding a restaurant that is consistent can be a daunting experience. Perhaps another time.
A special celebratory evening. Food and service was superb. A nice casual and happy evening couldn’t have been better. On par with the best.
We made reservations on open table for 6 people and when we arrived they said they were full and had no table for 6. They sat us at a table for 4 and we were sitting so tight...very uncomfortable. The table was also exactly facing the AC vent, which made it even more uncomfortable, actually freezing uncomfortable...we asked to be moved and they said there was no other option. Finally one table next to us left so we expanded ourselves and one waiter came yelling at us saying we have to stick to our table for 4 but we yelled back and finally sat comfortably. The food and the rest of the evening were good...
NYE. The matradee could not have been more rude. Caused a fuss for the first 15 minutes we were there. She was quite obnoxious I have to say. I realize that NYE can be a stressful day but her attitude makes me not want to frequent this restaurant anymore.
Food always served perfectly and friendly service.
Wait staff not very attentive… Food was just OK
The service and staff shine here. The sushi not so much as it had a strong fishy taste which is not always a good sign of freshness of product. On par with Wholefoods sushi in flavor and texture.
Always great service and delicious food... a sure value.
The menu is interesting - lots of choices you don't find in most other Asian restaurants; the space is pretty cool; the service is great; the food is always very good. We always get our money's worth here.
Food beyond description. Our meal was fantastic.
The server spoke poor English
Didn’t understand what a dirty martini was
The food was bad with no flavor
We had been before and were looking forward to celebrate a birthday there. What a mistake. Our server was not rude, he was simply just not qualified. We sat down and expected him to answer our questions about the menu, but that was a bigger challenge than expected. He simply left in the middle of our questions. Several times he asked "how are things?" but left before we had the chance to answer and ask for what we needed.
He tried to do it the right way by pouring one person's glas and asking "how is it?" - but started pouring all the rest of the glasses as the first person was still about to taste the wine. Also he picked up each glass and poured, like we were in a cheap motel room in a hurry, instead of leaving the glasses on the table as everyone else would do.
Food was a mixed experience. The Thai Dumplings seemed to had been made days in advance; heavy and not fresh as you would expect thai dumplings. The Pad Thai was borring with very dry chicken. Other dishes were ok.
Love the menu, lots of great choices.
Best sushi in town and delicious specialty dishes. Stir fried soft shell crab is amazing.
Here's my review it may not be 50 characters long. But we Have eaten there quite often and always had a great experience with the service and the food. Will recommend it to my friends and we'll go back Again
We return to this restaurant when we are in South Florida because of the execution of its menu , the attentiveness of its wait staff. and its ambiance. It is a touch of Bangkok that is hard to beat.
Service was great, atmosphere friendly, food superb and very pleasant staff.
We were pleasantly surprised the first time we went and the so of course we had to go back to make sure it wasn't a dream!! LOL We had a great time as the first and the food was again INCREDIBLE!! Thank you for wonderful and consistent service we will definitely be back again and again!!
Excellent Sushi/Sashimi always very fresh and great variety. Try a boat. Served with care. Thai food also excellent. Most dishes made vegetarian with fried tofu. Whole fish with one of five different sauces/vegetables one of my favorites. Try ginger sauce with mushrooms.
Marvellous as always!
I just love this restaurant I use it for all my special occasions to celebrations.
We've dying here many times before and it has been excellent. This time was a miss. The rice on the sushi rolls was dry and chewy. The steamed gyoza we're very small. The Thai dumplings were not edible.
Service was excellent. We will be going back but this particular evening was not only a surprise but a disappointment.
Very fresh and delicious. Server was nice and staff was friendly.
I've eaten there quite often in always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
Never had a bad experience always look forward to going back
Friendly attentive staff. Excellent sushi and Thai cuisine that is beautifully presented. Beautiful decor.
Tee-Jay is our favorite Sushi place in Fort Lauderdale. The rolls are always fresh and always best tasting.
Service is always good, friendly and a kind of funny, we like it a lot!
Very pleasant early evening light dinner. We felt welcome, and were served efficiently. We opted for Asian street food rather than the sushi, and our meal was very tasty.
I go to TeeJay Sushi in Wilton Manors quite often. Their food is always amazing.
Tee Jay is our first choice for sushi. I tried something different, this time, and loved it. The presentation was great and everything was delicious and fresh.
Food was wonderful. Service was great overall a very enjoyable experience. Will be back again soon
Without question the best Panang curry I've ever had. Always consistent.
very pleasant experience and food was great, looking forward to returning soon
Always great food and service. The sashimi was amazing
The food was excellent. The service was good. Our waiter was very friendly. The only drawback is that parking is a nightmare. Give yourself plenty of time to find a spot.
Have been there several times this season and find the service has gone down hill dramatically. Orders take much longer, and at least some of the food arrives cold, each time we visit!
A once local gem of a restaurant is now poorly managed and operated. A shame.
One of the best restaurants in South Florida. What a great evening. Jackie and B are the best !!!
Amazing as always
