The restaurant was empty (Monday, still under some Covid restrictions) and overall the food was okay, not bad, not great. However our server was high energy and good at managing the whole place. Honestly as a New Yorker, I'm not sure I'd go back, but once the city is back to life, I imagine the quality will be back.
Great service as always.
Dinner was great, our first experience with Bison. Steaks cooked to perfection. Recommend the Huckleberry Margarita!! Comfortable setting
Have been to Ted’s often over the years, and this was my first time back since the pandemic. It was really lovely to be back, and the staff was particularly friendly and welcoming.
Very nice for a quick lunch. Fish sandwich was very good, fries cooked perfectly. Server was very attentive
I've been several times and their food is always good. Yesterday was no exception. I always recommend the bison and continue to do so. I had the bison grilled cheese special and it was delicious.
Love that there is a great spot in midtown to get awesome bison meatloaf! My favorite. And the onion rings are the best.
Service excellent salmon very good also enjoyed bison filet.
We had burgers and this is why we wanted to try this place, because my friend recommended it for their amazing bison burger. Meat wasn’t fresh, it was previously frozen for I don’t know how long. It had a very strange taste (maybe a smell from a freezer it was in). Very disappointed but at the same time understand that during those tough times they don’t have many customers, hence no opportunity to always keep fresh meat. But won’t be coming back.
Service was great though.
The food was phenomenal as well as our drinks! The only down side, was the menu has been shortened and doesn’t match the website. But, that did not change the fact they still offered a lot of options, especially burgers. We were not disappointed. They also welcomed us with a bowl of homemade pickles that were delicious!!!!!
A great experience!! The food and drinks were amazing!! Everyone should try the huckleberry margaritas!! The staff was friendly and I felt safe
Great food. Nice atmosphere. Sexy big butt waitress.
Some of the best burgers hands down! Thank you so much!
Really great food, loved the bison, great service as well!
I love Ted’s. I’ve been eating here since 2013 and was happy to see they reopened for outdoor dining. Tables are set up off the street in an atrium so it’s more secluded and less exposed than other restaurants. The service is just as prompt and friendly as it was in the time before COVID and the steaks remain exquisite.
Really great meal. Bison burger was great; also the chili and nachos. Would definitely stop by again!
Good overall experience at Ted’s given the limitations of outdoor dining. I must praise our server Heidi. She was amazing. Her enthusiasm & friendliness made it a pleasure to dine at Ted’s. Service like that is what will bring me back.
Very friendly service staff
Great dining experience!
Food was fine for most guests. Salad meat was overcooked. Service was nice but slow. Refills were slow in coming. Very few customers in the restaurant so not sure why this would happen. Nothing really poor in nature, just not good to exceptional when you are paying 24 dollars for a burger.
Not a bad place for the family
I first visited this chain of restaurants in Washington DC and whenever I see one now I have to book and always have a lovely time. The food is always great the staff are always lovely. If there’s one criticism I have it’s that the waiter who introduced himself wasn’t the one we had all the way through. We had a lad to start with who brought us drinks and took our order, then a girl brought the food out and asked if I wanted another drink, and after a little too long the first lad brought it out. It wasn’t something that spoilt the evening of anything just something that threw me. Overall I’d definitely recommend Ted’s Montana NYC
The food was not the best. A little dry and bland. Chicken fingers were very hard.
All good. Great service and tasty food.
The staff was so friendly and welcoming the g guy oof was good
We love their fish sandwich and the kale salad. Both are the absolute best!!!!
best nachos in town. great service. only slight downside was it was cold but in terms of the old school throughback vibe worth putting up with this. definitely recommend. we will be back wrapped up.
Overall a decent place. Service could be better. Place was pretty empty but service was not up to where it should be. Food was decent, had to send one steak back to be cooked to the requested medium. Good kids menu and family friendly.
Very disappointing-I ordered special fish and sweet potato and broccoli sides- everything was cold- I have eaten lunch here before and was much better- they obviously need new management- would not recommend- Capital Grille down the block much better
Great food, great service, great experience. We'll be back. 👍👍👍
Excellent service, we were there on a Wednesday and was very quiet. Food was good (dessert in particular, which was recommended by the waiter). Decent value considering the location
I enjoyed my experience but my server Melissa I believe was her name wasn't patient and proceeded to continuously ask me if I was ready to go after still enjoying my food and drinks. She came back every 5 minutes and it was distracting. I felt rushed and left soon after. I did not appreciate that, not one bit.
Our server was awesome and we were seated almost immediately with a reservation. Unfortunately, at 7 PM they were already out of the fish special and even out of the basic chicken dish that was on the menu. The food was tasty and plentiful and the price is very affordable. We will go back. It was great for my teenage son.
Food was not good and had to wait a long time for it. I would not go back nor recommend it.
The hosts greeted us warmly although we were early and seated us at a lovely cozy booth but that is where the excellence ended. The soup of the day was unavailable at 5pm and the clam chowder was tasteless and as thick as concrete. By 5:30 the noise level was unacceptable and the restaurant was only 3/4 full. The hot coffee we requested to warm up was served tepid and the. Refill we asked for to heat things up was over long in coming and turned out to be equally cool. Our waitress was sweet but obviously inexperienced. The bison short rib was tender and flavorful but accompanied by sauce that lacked any distinguishing character. The bison burger was properly cooked but accompanied by limp French fries that were cold and not crisp. Also onion was put on the burger and it was not supposed to be included. All in all very unsatisfactory and we won’t be returning. They do have a gluten free menu and are careful to advise you if you let them know you have concerns.
We got to the restaurant early and were seated right away. The waitress Mel took our drink order and then came back with our drinks and took our appetizer and dinner order. The appetizer came out and two minutes later our waitress comes over and says our food is ready. So we said okay and received that as well. I ordered my burger medium and got well done. My husband ordered a veggie burger. Mine was overcooked and tasted blah and my husband said the veggie burger was bland as well. An hour later our waitress comes back and we ordered dessert. Dessert took over 20 minutes (a brownie with ice cream on top). Suffice it to say we left late and got lucky our show was running behind as well. Overall the food was fair, the service okay, but we will not be going back. I expected better.
That sat us immediately upon check in arriving at our reservation time. The waitress gave us suggestions and accommodated our need to make an 8p show by getting our order in. A nice, unrushed meal. The bone in bison steak special was excellent! Crab dip app also! Both recommendations from the waitress!
Valentines dinner with my wife before a show. I searched google maps to find a restaurant near Radio City. The info and reviews and pictures convinced me to try it. I loved the art-deco style design and the old school bison head on the wall. We shared the homemade potato chips and ranch dip. Great. And the food was good as well. I had the bison filet with spiced coffee rub. Very good except that they put their traditional lemon butter on top of it. Wish I knew ahead because I would have told them to hold that because it didn’t pair well. I had a side of fries that were unfortunately killed. Over fried. The wife had the beef filet and baked potato. No complaints. Overall I would still go back as they had other menu items that I would love to try. A nice place and it’s close to all the action. And for Valentine’s Day it wasn’t really crowded.
I've been to Ted's several times and it never disappoints. Amazing food and great service.
