Ted's Bulletin - Reston
We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Whether it’s family dinner, business lunch, or just a Ted’s Tart and coffee to-go, we’re as adaptable as your life is dynamic. Our breakfast menu is available all day because we believe that the most important meal of the day can be had morning, noon or night.
Ted’s Bulletin is a haven for comfort and celebrating the things we have in common: a hunger for good food at great value, a need for a place to be comfortable being ourselves, and a desire to connect with our community. At Ted’s Bulletin, everyone has a table, and every table has a story to tell.
They weren't ready for our reservation when we arrived. We were seated 9 minutes after the reservation because they decided to sit the four groups that were waiting inside first. Kind of made the reservation useless in my opinion. The food was excellent as usual though.
terrific cobb and greek salads, even served at breakfast time! Most accommodating and yummy
Great place for a meal before or after a movie at the nearby cinema. Nice selection. Will return.
We had a very good lunch and a great server!
Service seemed oddly off. We went in really early at 9:00AM so they weren't very busy yet but it took forever to get a server and then our food. Food was good but service was annoying.
Great food, great service and a fun atmosphere! Our waiter Hale was spot on with his recommendations! Thanks!
Comfort food ( Think Meatloaf and Mashed) the homemade pop tarts and milkshakes are a big draw with the kids...Price was a bit high on some items but the portions were great! The real draw here is that everyone in my family can find something they enjoy...but if I were eating without them I would probably pick another place in RTC!
Both the quality of food and service were excellent. This is a very good choice for traditional comfort food and a good value of the price.
I went here for my large birthday party and everything went very well! The food was great, the service was prompt, and everyone had a great time
I really enjoyed our lunch at the Reston location. We had a reservation and still had to wait about 15 minutes because it was a full house. The wait staff was friendly and the food was tasty and well priced. The sugar cookie pop tart is to die for!
Our waiter, Dwayne was awesome! The food came out fast and was tasty. The blueberry pancakes were light and fluffy; absolutely delicious! I am still thinking about the wonderful peppermint milkshake; I ordered it with almond milk to ease my guilt. Great experience overall.
After making a reservation on Open Table a week in advance, when we arrived at Ted's Bulliten we were told that making a reservation does not make any allowances for a reserved table or priority seating, and we would have to wait for a table like any other walk-in diner. I do not understand why they take "reservations" on Open Table but do not honor them.. Please explain. Thank you.
Great! Was good and service was good.
It was okay. Nothing great. A bit pricey. The food came out fast though, which was very nice.
Ted's is just a great restaurant. Great food, service is excellent, everyone is friendly. We enjoy the ambiance and so convenient to make a reservation on line.
Good broad menu, kitchen great with special requests. Very crowded almost any time, servers always trying to turn tables faster.
It was divine.
Great food. Enjoyable brunch.
Had always heard about Ted's Bulletin and finally decided to give it a try. We ordered the peanut butter bacon burger (which is no longer on the menu but still available if you order it) and the chicken 'n' biscuits. The food was mediocre at best - really lacked flavor in our opinion. One of the biscuits was served to us burned. My husband really enjoyed the mumbo sauce, but that was the only redeeming quality.
It was noisy but food was good
It was good no complaints.
Good spot for meal with friends and families. Poptarts are a must!
We checked in and mentioned we had a reservation at 11...we waited until a table for 11 was available...45 minutes after the reservation time. reservation was for 4...gets a little loud at the reception desk.
I heard the breakfast was great. First time was not a charm. Not awful but nothing to write home about. Meh.
Not bad. But food was a bit dry, still pleasant but would be nice to see consistency
Ted's Bulletin is great breakfast place - the food was great!
They drink wasn’t very potent but the food was delicious service great ambience nice I would definitely return
I love Ted's Bulletin for the best business breakfast spot in Reston. The food options are great, the coffee was delicious. There is enough space to have a private conversation but the wait staff is attentive enough to meet our every need without being overbearing. There truly is no better breakfast spot in Reston to support a meeting over a meal.
The food was delicious. Can’t wait to return to try other yummy things.
Parking is a real problem. To someone who doesn't know how the pay system works it is very confusing and, quite frankly, unneccesary. Won't be going back to Reston Town Center.
My husband and I were a bit surprised by the service we experienced last Sunday for Brunch. We had a 12:30 res, and showed up on time, was not seated until 12:45? Then we practically had to wave our waitress down constantly. The food was cold and we thought it must have been sitting there ready (it was brought out by someone else) We've been to this restaurant in busier times, and the service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Sadly, This was NOT one of those occasions...
We always go to Ted's for Birthdays it's become a tradition, never disappointed, there is something for everyone.
Chicken and biscuits looked AMAZING but tasted ok. Cheese grits were all past “cheesy” and more like orange goo, and I like cheese. Fries were fantastic. Movie playing was Bicycle Thief, a bit of a departure from 1950s reruns...
A little pricey but a lot of food. Server Jenn was very good.
Breakfast with the family was great! Service was a little slow but it was busy and she was still really nice and nothing was messed up or anything.
Always a pleasure to dine here. Perfect for a business breakfast. Convenient location. Excellent service!
Ted's Bulletin is everything you'd expect from a second-tier burger joint. My wife and I were dining with another couple, having made a reservation a week or so in advance, and as we waited for our drinks to arrive, the hostess seated at least ten little girls--10-12 years old--immediately next to us. The noise level soared through the roof. On the positive side, when I requested to change tables, our request was cheerfully honored, but why would they put diner in that position in the first place? When large groups of children arrive, why not place them apart from quiet diners? That's just bad service.
The food was okay. Not bad, but certainly nothing special.
Service was inattentive and slow, and we went at 5:45 when there was only three other tables in the restaurant. Our server did not come over to check on us unless we stood and waved him down. Our drinks went unfilled for most of our dinner. There were shells in our crab cakes and egg shells still left on our deviled eggs. We ordered the s’mores tart for dessert and it was given to us cold. We definitely won’t be going back to this location.
I had a reservation and they said that they do not honor reservations so we still had to wait. I was confused.
Had been wanting to try Ted’s Bulletin for quite some time, so we took my niece & nephew for lunch. My Mom had fish & chips, which she said wasn’t very good - the fish itself was good, but the batter heavy & greasy. The coleslaw had a strange taste as well. I had the ham eggs Benedict, which was quite good - the hollandaise was nice & light, and the ham was good. My nephew had the salmon Caesar salad, which he enjoyed, and my niece said her eggs & bacon were good.
