American
Ted’s Bulletin is a laid-back, classic American community restaurant, bakery and bar, serving craveable American cuisine in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Whether it’s family dinner, business lunch, or just a Ted’s Tart and coffee to-go, we’re as adaptable as your life is dynamic. Our breakfast menu is available all day because we believe that the most important meal of the day can be had morning, noon or night.

Ted’s Bulletin is a haven for comfort and celebrating the things we have in common: a hunger for good food at great value, a need for a place to be comfortable being ourselves, and a desire to connect with our community. At Ted’s Bulletin, everyone has a table, and every table has a story to tell.

We had a large party and from the front entrance to the attentive server, all the service was excellent! On a busy weekend night, this is hard to find. Then the food was excellent and served quickly. Great experience! Thanks Ted's 👍

This place was difficult to get to; parked in parking garage blocks away. Overpriced, lack luster food for the money.

We had reservations on a Saturday evening. The place was busy but we were seated on time. The service was excellent. The food was cooked to our liking. However, I think what we had was a little overpriced. I will recommend to friends and we will go back in the future.

Dinner for 15 girls; service was excellent...it just took us about 25 minutes to be seated.
Granted, the girls talked the entire time, but it was a bit of a wait to get started with the food.
Waitress was EXCELLENT.

Came for breakfast with a friend - she'd not been to breakfast before here! Service was very friendly and pleasant and food was delicious as always - including the gigantic capuccino! looking forward to a return breakfast soon.

I love Ted's Bulletin. The breakfast is delicious and I generally meet friends or family there every weekend. The restaurant is a great place to get together with a group and catch up. The team at Ted's really make the experience. They are fantastic.

On my last visit, I branched out and tried a few new dinner options and was a bit disappointed. I tried the fried cauliflower and steak and fries. Everything was just ok and a little on the bland side. I love Ted's breakfast and sandwiches and was a bit disappointed with the meal in comparison.

We love Ted's and took a friend here for the first time for his birthday. In my reservation note, I noted that but nothing was done to celebrate his birthday no candle etc.

The onion soup was very salty and the fish sandwich not up to the normal Ted's Standard. everything else was very good.

Went for lunch with friend who had only been for dinner - we both decided on BLTs but with regular tomatoes and regular mayo - server very accommodating and the sandwiches were just delicious - although I missed having my tomato soup! We shared a pop tart (apple pie) and it was warm and inviting - really loved lunch and looking forward to bringing my friend for breakfast next!

Kitchen repeatedly (e.g. more than once) got both our orders wrong. Could be because the entire kitchen staff seemed to be having some kind of raucous gathering during our meal.

Good food poor service.. we’ve been many times and this server was terrible. She had zero personality and we could tell she wasn’t happy there. Luckily the food brings us back.

I don't like walking in to a restaurant and smelling dirty water in the air. You know that smell that makes you assume the cleaning crew used the same bucked of dirty water to clean the entire floor in the restaurant and haven't cleaned the mop in a month? It's a big turn off.

Ted's Bulletin was a great way to start out 2019 with friends!
The food (Salmon on Green Salad) was excellent... the Server was terrific and worked with us on some minor substitutes for our meal (adding bacon :-)) and substituting the Avocado Vinegar... We were all very pleased and will definitely return for the SAME Lunch !

Good mood and venue in the over built Mosaic area of Merrifield, VA. Parking is adequate in the garages but it can be a hike to the restaurant.

Took care of us with Celiac Disease, but there could be more variety and something besides shakes for dessert. We were celebrating our friends 50th (which I made clear on my reservation, confirmed in person) and waiter said they’d bring one of their homemade pop tarts to celebrate. Birthday girl ordered awesome chocolate cake, but they didn’t put a candle in it or sing or bring the pop tart. Nothing special at all. They said the cake was amazing, but they could have done something special.

It was a very basic but enjoyable lunch. I believe the prices are rather high for a lunch salad with no bread provided at all during the meal.

The tater tots are out of this world. They're more like tiny, cubed hash browns, with just the perfect level of salt that you don't even need any condiment to enjoy them. Three of us shared them as an appetizer and were blown away.

This was my third visit to Ted's, which is why the biggest impression was left by the tots; I was already familiar with the welcoming atmosphere and old school vibe. We enjoyed our bellinis and brunch entrees as well, and service was great.

We got together for a nice, light dinner. I was mostly looking forward to the homemade pop tarts -- the "berry cobbler" ones were AMAZING. We made it in before the evening rush, so it was very leisurely, and we enjoyed each other's company over the meal.

Restaurant looked tired and dirty. Fries were soft and not hot. Men's room was dirty, walls tiles were not clean and paper towel dispenser was open exposing the roll. Air temperature in restaurant was warm - server said AC was not working. This was not our first visit but will probably be our last.

We have grabbed both full family dinners as well as quick bites and cocktails before a movie at this restaurant. Ted's never disappoints me, my wife, or kids. Food is great. Service is fairly quick. And we love the cocktails. My hands down favorite is the Big Ugly (you only need one). Make sure you try the tator totts and pretzels. Deviled eggs are awesome. Ask to add the crabcake on the side of an appetizer, its much less expensive then ordering it up as a plater. Food is filling. No need to overdo it.

The food, as always, was good. The server was useless. He may have been new because we have never seen him before. -not attentive to anyone regardless of the table. He took far too long taking orders, checking in, dealing with the check, delivering to go boxes. I have been eating here for years and today’s service was very disappointing.
