Ted’s Bulletin was a suggestion from the Westin Hotel front desk, and we are happy we were able to go for brkfast b4 leaving DC. The host was polite, there was no wait & our server Mike was fantastic…we will certainly go again
Had the stroganoff dish. Pasta was dry. They could have added more sauce
Last time I was at Ted's Bulletin was pre-COVID. Glad to say it had not changed; good food, prompt and friendly service.
The food was soggy, and our waiter was not as serviceable
Delicious meal at a great price point. Fantastic service.
Ted's Bulletin has excellence all around. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service person was attentive without being intrusive. The price was right on the spot. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We were definitely excited to go back to Ted's Bulletin, but we were totally disappointed!! Seems they had a turnaround of their entire staff from bar tenders, servers, and cooks, even management. The salmon rangoons were overcooked. The ahi tuna burger had zero seasoning. The wedge salad had bacon bits instead of lardons, we had to ask for those although the menu says that's what comes on it. The truffle fries were cold and the drinks were terrible. All-in-all we are not coming back any time soon.
Ordered strawberries and blueberries on top of my pancakes received them cooked into the pancakes. Ordered a side of crispy hash browns received mushy hash browns. Ordered hot chocolate w/ dairy free milk received cold hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. Needless to say I do not plan to dine here in the future as the taste of the food was not good in addition to the mistakes made. They say the food is made from scratch but the food quality was not good. If you like farm to table or higher quality food, this place is not for you.
Disappointed with Teds this time around. Drinks did not come until the appetizers, which was not ideal. The main courses came out only 5 minutes or so after the apps which was a bit annoying. We felt very rushed to eat, drink and leave, which made the experience unpleasant. It’s too bad too because I have been to Teds several times and this is the first time I’ve had a poor experience.
This is our second time dining here and it did not disappoint. The food is great, our server was awwwome, and management was present. We will return.
Outstanding customer service everyone was soooo nice we had the best waitress very knowledgeable about the menu.
Extensive menu, fun people watching, excellent service!
Enjoyed our meal in a comfortable setting. The food was really good.
The staff was clearly overwhelmed with serving the crowd. Our waitress was very nice, though. The food was ok. My friend's chilli arrived cold, but was replaced when asked for.
Ted’s is our favorite brunch spot in DC! Highly recommend the chicken fried chicken and substitute their homemade tater tots.
Nice place to meet some out of towners for brunch. Was busier than I thought it would be on a Wednesday morning!
There was a gnats had to keep swatting away which was a bit annoying. But other than that, all good
Food, service, ambience were uniformly excellent.
Excellent food, great attention and place
First time for brunch and the food was amazing
Anytime we are in the area we go to Ted’s. Our server Roandra (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was excellent with us. Warm and friendly.
Always so good!
Such a pretty place! Such a shame the food was so disappointing and the service a bit hostile and defensive. My tomato juice literally bubbled— have to assume it was from bacterial contamination; have never encountered this before. Spit it out and sent full glass back.
My husband and I both ordered eggs over medium. Both orders came out cooked hard. Requested replacements; server not happy but complied. Replacements perfectly cooked, but rest of meal now cold. Husband’s French toast was golden on one side, but the bottom was literally burned black. He ate it anyway.
I’ve been writing about food and wine for 40 years. This was my second- worst breakfast experience in the U.S. I cannot remember the last time I sent a dish back to the kitchen; I’m no prima donna and understand the tough times, especially now, that restaurants are enduring.
Fantastic entrées and desserts!!! Will definitely be back.
We ate a late dinner at Ted’s Bulletin with our three teenage kids while visiting Washington DC. It was a perfect choice. Great food with fresh ingredients, and some thing for everyone! We will be back the next time we are in town.
Enjoyed our meal and the waiters were very nice and helpful.
So eclectic and fun. Went there for breakfast and everyone’s meal was over the top delicious. Don’t leave without stopping by the bakery counter on your way out. The homemade pop tarts are the best! Your family will love you if you bring some home to them.
Ted's Bulletin is always great, but I just wanted to specifically mention our server, Mike, who was very attentive and thoughtful - my dining companion wasn't feeling well (unrelated to anything there!), and he kept checking on us and tried his best to help her.
We finally made it to Ted's Bulletin! OMGosh everything was AMAZING ... we shared the salmon rangoons, fried cauliflower, harvest salad w/shrimp, and the mediterranean chicken sandwich w/truffle fries ... were to die for!! Last but not least, the service was outstanding and our cocktails...traditional mojito and the jalepeno pineapple margarita could have been stronger, but very tasty!!
Thank you for the lovely experience, we will be back soon with our family next time.
My party walked right in and our server was phenomenal
Fantastic service (and food)! Thank you.
Great value and service. Food won't change your life, but it's good quality and a fair price in a very nice ambiance with great location.
I made reservations and they had a hard time getting me suitable seating.
She told me to wait for five minutes so they could clear a table, it was not busy , no people in the lobby waiting. then when the lady came to seat us (3) I didn't like the circular booth where other people to hear your conversation . She told me to go back out front and wait another five minutes and I said no. We finally sat at a two seater booth with three people. Two adults and one child. That fiasco was irritating.
The service from the waiters was kind of lackluster. They got the order wrong a couple times, and with multiple visits. And took forever to come bring the check.
Yes Bulletin is a MUST when close by!!! The food is phenomenal & the atmosphere is perfect!!!
The environment was exactly what we were looking for..relaxed and casual. Food was excellent. Especially the chicken feta burger and truffle fries!! Milkshakes were only so-so. I really didn’t care for the boozy milkshake at all.
Service and food were exceptional.
Their homemade poptarts are incredible. I love their bellinis with breakfast. Their dinner pot roast is also a must
Waiter was great and food delicious.
We loved the food but since we sat outside the service was really slow. Also we had to deal with beggars coming to our table and asking us for food and money. Next time we will sit inside. I really loved the homemade pop tarts and bought a box to bring to a party later in the day.
