The restaurant was out of several menu items, including pate and all their pizzas, which was disappointing. The prices were quite high for what we received. I will stick with happy hour at the bar in the future.
Bully bar certainly okay if you’re in the neighborhood but nothing more. I had a blackened bronzino sandwich that was piled high with pretty good garnish—-but once I dug down to attack the sandwich there was a rather meager 1/4 inch filet. Barely tasted the fish. Chips were excellent. Also VERY loud. Not merely loud. Very loud.
Great place to take people for dinner or lunch. It’s nice without being stuffy and has a great drink menu. The food is always good and they have a mix of meat, and seafood. Very knowledgeable and professional wait service.
Food was great, but service was only okay. It felt like the service was either overbearing (asking us to order within 30 seconds of sitting down and then coming back only a minute later) or nonexistent (we had to flag down another server to refill our waters after waiting with empty glasses for a while). Also, a manager came over and without asking took away plates we were still eating from.
We LOVE their sister restaurant Lincoln and were excited to try Teddy. The food was amazing and we would like to make another trip back...but I would hope the service is more even-keeled.
Really enjoyed the food but the main entree dishes were on the smaller side. We were smart to get a grain and share it. Loved the seating, very comfortable and they had padding underneath the table so you wouldn't hit your knees, very smart. It was a nice date spot but probably wouldn't go back, too many other restaurants to try.
This was our third visit to Teddy and The Bully Bar and we love it! Staff is great, food is wonderful, the only issue we have is that the noise level is very high.
The service is outstanding. Our waiter really went all out to ensure he fulfilled every request. I appreciate the team wait staff as well. The food was fantastic. I had the potato croquettes and the lobster risotto. Both were very good. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of lobster in the dish. I will be back specifically for the risotto again!
I was excited to go to this place based on a recommendation from my colleague. I was taking 2 new employees to lunch for their first day and wanted to try something different but had varying options. The food was good and the atmosphere was very nice. I was not pleased with the service though. Our waiter was a bit condescending and rude when my 2 employees were asking questions about the food choices and options. He was asking as if the restaurant was full but it wasn't. It was disappointing to not have the waiter come over at any point during the meal and we had to call for him to give the bill. Luckily other waiters came by with water and our food.
Excellent lunch location. Sandwiches Cubano and Tuna were excellent. Staff and service always spot on!
Small tables make it hard to have shareable plate, but good to hear the rest of your party. Be aware of 2:45 last call!
It’s usually a good experience, but our server wasn’t friendly, we had to flag him down to get drinks and menus, and he took a long time to come back around and check on us.
👍🏾 Everything was great!
Interesting menu with lots of great options. Good to order many dishes and share. We sat outside on a beautiful evening and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.
Mother’s Day brunch with my mother. Enjoyed every minute.
Wonderful Mother’s Day Brunch! Had a great time with the family :)
Over priced, poor service, mediocre food
Most items on menu are small plates.
Good food, good service, and fun decor. The only downside was the noise level. We went with a group of six, but we couldn't hear anyone at the other end of the table due to the overall noise in the restaurant.
Happy hour outside is great. Cocktails and Sauvignon blanc are great. Rose on happy hour is not good, too dark, get full priced rose or pick another option. Mac and cheese and all the happy hour bites are good options.
My friends and I came for brunch and were very pleased with the service. Randall was our waiter but the whole staff made sure we had everything we needed and our mimosa were never empty. Definitely one of my new go-to brunch places!
Lines long for omelette and waffle stations. Other than that I think it us a great brunch spot.
Love it every time!!
Upon our arrival we were seated at a 4 top table right by the entrance on the other side of the hostess stand. There was many other tables available that were better ambiance. Chose this place based on brunch value and that there was a dj. Would have liked to been closer to dj to hear the music more. We were celebrating my friends son’s 21st birthday. We were greated by a man in a blazer who was very pleasant and seemed to be the manager. He said our server would be right with us.
A few servers were at a station in the center of the room. Multiple times we looked up and they were looking at our table and speaking to one another but not sure why no one came over. After 20 min of being there a server came over and said “ did you decide what you want?” We all just looked at her. No one explained how brunch was going to work at this establishement. I had to ask then she proceded to tell us. We went with the unlimited brunch where you could choose anything on the menu to share, we asked that she just bring multiple items and we would try many options.
The food was excellent!!!! We never ran out of mimosas, but the way we were greeted upon the servers arrival kind of ruined the whole experience. I would be willing to try this place again due to the amazing food and really interesting restaurant. But not the service.
Tuna was incredibly over cooked.
Very expensive for not a lot of food. You really only get value if you put taste on top of everything. I personally would rather have large, cheaper portions than small, expensive ones regardless of the taste.
Very fun and energetic vibe. Food was great. Bottomless mimosas were great, blood Mary’s were so-so. Keep in mind, noise level was high, so I quiet brunch won’t work. We have a great time and enjoyed it!
Definitely overpriced. It has a big box vibe and not much personality. Food was underwhelming and service was poor. Brussels sprouts were soggy - will not be back
Four of us shared 5 apps - all good and just the right amount. Server had to come back three times to tell us they were out of three different beer selections.
Great service and food!! The short ribs were excellent and though the portions are small it was perfect with an appetizer.
Needed a last minute place for a business dinner. Food was great and everyone enjoyed the experience.
I'm a huge fan of this restaurant, however, to be fair, my most recent visit left a lot to be desired. My guest and I had one glass of water the entire meal. No one offered nor came by to refill our glass– we joked about it throughout our lunch, "rationing our water supply." Our waiter came by three times– once to take the drink order, once to take our order, and once to give us the check. Thankfully, the food was worth the hour-long wait (despite this being a 12:45pm lunch, which normally runs much faster).
All Excellent, favorite place for lunch between old buddies
Good food and atmosphere
Teddy never disappoints. I like that the brunch menu changes but selections are still excellent. I hope they can find a way for the music (DJ) to be heard, no matter where you are in the restaurant. I enjoy it every time; but I enjoy it more when I can experience the DJ.
I was really disappointed in this restaurant. The lighting in the dining room was way too bright, which threw off the entire experience from the beginning. Secondly, the price of drinks were way too high for what was given, ex: $15 for an old fashioned that filled up 0.5 inches of the cup. Thirdly, they were somehow understaffed and the service was very slow, despite the dining room not even being full throughout the entire evening. A lot of potential, but really disappointing.
food was imaginative, well prepared and delicious. Service was wonderful
I have dined here before and enjoyed the experience, unfortunately this time was really different. We had a party of 5, I had reserved in advance. The hostess took us to a table set for 4 people and clearly sized for 4 people. When I reminded her my reservation was for 5 (all 5 people were present) she looked annoyed and said we could fit. It took them awhile to reset the table for 5. The appetizers and drinks were good. However all our meals arrived cold. Once taken back to the kitchen, warmed up and brought back out, all of us were underwhelmed by the food. Partially from the reheating and then in general the dishes (we had 2 different risottos, the gnocchi, a pizza) were either lacking in flavor, under seasoned and/or still not that hot. We had a couple different waiters attending to our tables and I do not recall anyone really asking if we enjoyed our experience or the food.
This is a great spot for happy hour and the appetizers have never disappointed but after this recent experience I am not sure we will return for dinner.
Food was fantastic aside from pound cake dessert. The Cesar salad & cornbread were sooo good. Portions are a little small, but definitely worth eating here!
The food was not as good as expected, nor as good as it should be for a restaurant that seems to be a cut above the rest. The atmosphere is very good. My burger wasn't.
When I made the reservation they should have told me that I was the last seating. Food was cold. They ran out of things on the menu. The lamb was aweful. The only thing I really liked was the macaroni and cheese and the French toast. Those items are not worth $60. The place is pretty. Waitress was available. There was no one else for her to serve.
