Valentine's Day Special Menus & More
Teddy has two options available. A $48 three course dinner and a $56 four course option. These romantic dinners include choices of roasted lamb chops, rockfish bouillabaisse, or grilled grass fed filet of beef. All menus are available for tented, heated outdoor dining, carry out & delivery.
I’ve been going to Teddy and the Bully for several years, but this last experience was abysmal. The ambience was totally dead during Sunday brunch...no music as in previous reviews, and the set up they have now during COVID feels very sterile and sparse rather than the usual cozy environment. Most importantly, the food was terrible quality, like a free breakfast at a 2-star hotel. The menu is very limited and only one of the dishes (mac & cheese) was decent. The salmon taco was inedible, the pancakes were average, the strawberry yogurt item wasn’t even made with fresh strawberries, and the waffle was soggy and served with brown bananas on top. Nothing was fresh and everything was bland. The service was good at least, but the food absolutely was not worth the price.
They changed brunch around and were not very clear about it until u got there. Was disappointing
Excellent brunch as always .
I enjoyed all the plates, each option was delicious!! Especially the salmon tacos and the waffles!! The waiter was wonderful and masseuse sure we were satisfied with our order!! I will be coming again!! My new favorite brunch spot!
Food was below average - Mac and cheese ok and short ribs not as good as expected
love the décor! Cranberry Mimosa and the honey cornbread were delicious!
Thanksgiving
Celebrating Thanksgiving with our sons. We live 3,000 miles apart, so it was wonderful to get together and have someone cook for us. Delicious!
Our server and the food was exceptional. I was a little upset there wasn’t any music playing in the restaurant though. Especially when your use to the pre COVID atmosphere.
The birthday brunch for my mom was special, however I do wish the menu for the bottomless option was bigger
Exceeded expectations. Would definitely recommend
The fried chicken and pepper waffle with pumpkin coleslaw was absolutely delicious, although it was only slightly warm when it arrived. The home fries arrived hot as were perfectly seasoned. I ordered the Lion cocktail which is a great alternative for those that love a good Old Fashion or Manhattan. I’m sorry to say the carafe of the Panama Canal was not a favorite with my group; however, the server made every attempt to rectify the problem. I have to say that this is one of my favorite places to dine for Sunday brunch. The food is tasty and the music is outstanding! I highly recommend.
Great location for outdoor dining in the Dupont circle area! Super friendly staff!
It was so lovely! The wait staff was so kind and attentive. The decor was fabulous and the food was so tasty. The only bummer is that they don’t do bottomless on Saturday’s which wasn’t advertised on the website. But they still had happy hour pitchers were just as good!
Went after work for drinks. Despite covid, the place is doing everything it can to be accommodating and safe for everyone. We plan to go back next week.
Claudia was amazing with regard to her customer service!!!
It was a great quick brunch date for my boyfriend.
Had a terrific time. The food was great. The atmosphere was exactly what I thought it would be from the pictures. Menu options covered all bases, although portions were slightly smaller than I expected. Loved the drink menu.
Great space for outdoor dining and really love they have all-day happy hour right now!
Service and food was great.
Many tasty menu options (Sept. 2020), as well as a large outdoor patio with tables, chairs and umbrellas. I had the short rib stroganoff and a commissioner's cider alcoholic beverage, which I'd recommend! The mac & cheese and squash risotto looked great!
Love the Waffles and Chicken
Everything was great, so good we came again for brunch the next day. Good Service, Good Drinks and food to match.
Great food and atmosphere
Incredible food, service, and outdoor patio space. Very thorough COVID precautions made for an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable meal.
I’ve heard so many great things about this place that I was honestly really disappointed in my experience. The service was pretty much the only good part of my experience. I ordered HH nachos to start, the chips were clearly old and very stale. The risotto was ok at best but was also overcooked. Drinks were ok I guess. We sat outside, no one else was there and there was no music. Probably won’t ever go back.
The food was great and the portions were very nice size. The staff was also wonderful. The host was super inviting and warm and our waiter, Neo, was friendly, professional, helpful and responsive. I would definitely go back.
We had excellent service, the food was delicious, and Restaurant Week felt like a good value. Also good drinks and felt pretty safe with the outdoor seating situation.
We had a lovely time and enjoyed the food very much. We loved the Brussels sprouts and the pound cake was awesome. We will definitely be back!
I appreciated the service. They went out their way to accommodate us. It was the first time I have eaten inside dining since January. Social distancing seemed okay.
Nice cocktails. Mac and Cheese appetizer is disappointing
I had lunch there yesterday and ordered from the Restaurant Week menu which was a real value. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, especially the Watermelon Greek Salad. It was delicious--I'd order that by itself next time! The service was attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant itself was very clean and quiet (probably because of Covid rules). I'd definitely go again!
Restaurant week menu was amazing; portion sizes were great and the food was delicious!
Great food and service...usually a little pricey but the bottomless brunch is great.
Incredible meal and experience. I will be returning. The drinks were fun and the food was cooked to perfection. The service was fantastic as well.
Went for restaurant week! Amazing food and really creative happy hour drinks, even if the prices went very happy.
I liked everything about it but had too much to eat. I should select a salad next time for the first course.
After returning to restaurants after the reopening, I have been consistently disappointed in the decline in the quality of service. We had lunch on the patio during restaurant week and were bowled over by the quality of the service.
The Teddy’s staff really know how to make guests feel cared for and our server, Waheel (sp?) really went the extra mile to ensure we were well-attended but never smothered.
It was restaurant week, which I typically find disappointing. Not true at Teddy’s, every bite was just brilliant! I hyped the cocktails to my lunch guests and as always they exceeded expectations!
Thanks again! I’m so happy ya’ll weathered the closure and are still serving up awesome food and the best craft cocktails in town.
Great service and good food. They need to update their online menus to reflect what they are serving during COVID. We were very disappointed they didn't serve brunch.
Great Food
