A social atmosphere fit for a president. Join us where vibrant cocktail culture meets fun elegance and comfort food at this Dupont Circle neighborhood favorite. It is said that while President Theodore Roosevelt loved to eat, to him the dinner table was less an occasion for fine dining than as a springboard for conversations. In keeping with this, we have created a stunning interior design for Teddy and the Bully Bar that keeps patrons talking. Reflecting Theodore Roosevelt’s love for simple American comfort food, including steaks, oysters, fried chicken and house-made cornbread, our seasonal menus feature a contemporary twist on classic comfort dishes with a focus on quality, local and simplicity. Join us on Sunday May 11, 2025, for a splendid and comfortable Mother's Day Brunch from 10am with the last seating at 3:15pm. Start with our housemade biscuits, whipped butter and seasonal jam. Onto the menu where you will find some outstanding and delicious culinary memories including first course featuring choice of Tuna Poke, Nordic Brunch, Spring Beet or Spring Kale Salad or Grilled Banana & yogurt. Main course choices are Maryland Crabcakes, Short Rib Heuvo Rancheros, Crispy Chicken & Waffles or pan roast Scallops. Don't forget that our experience also includes and endless waffle and omelet station with all your favorite fillings and toppings from fresh fruit to anything you want to fill your omelet or top your waffle. Endless stations also include Applewood smoked bacon and home fries. Our Dessert choices are maple and chocolate doughnuts, a pineapple tarte tatin or a strawberry semifreddo. The culinary experience is priced with value in mind at $72 per person. $30 for children 12 and under. You can also choose from a pitcher of Mimosas for $25, a bottomless mimosa or bellini experience for $28 or a carafe of Palomas for $36 We also have Mocktails for the teenagers (Non-Alcoholic fun beverages) We will also have giveaways for the moms that visit us on this wonderful day. Please remember that all prices do not include tax, gratuities or 4.25% surcharge for significant operational increases as a result of economic changes in our world including tariffs, DC labor law increases and other inflationary charges. We appreciate your understanding in this part of our industry that is adversely affecting us. We are just 4 blocks from the Dupont Metro station and street parking is plentiful. Our large patio can seat up to 40 guests and will be open that day should the weather allow us.

Enjoy chicken & waffles & also indulge in many other options from our menu. Not only do you have unlimited plates of food, we have a made to order Belgian Waffle & Omelet station. Pick your favorite topping or fillings from the Chef's Table. The two hour experience includes bottomless mimosas or bellinis. There's even an ice cream bar with great flavors & toppings. We went to Easter brunch today. It was a pleasant experience. The food was great and the service even better. Good prime rib, salmon, and sides. There was a wait for lamb chops. Karen, our server, was very attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed the crab, avaocdo salad for starters and dessert was very good. Definitely recommend a visit.

Restaurant seemed to be understaffed. I asked for pepper and was told they do not have any, but was offered chili flakes instead????

Easter Brunch at Teddy and the Bully Bar was a lot of fun. The food was all great and the servers were attentive. My son especially enjoyed the customized waffle station and the ice cream sundae bar.

While in DC recently for a family trip, this was one of our restaurant reservations. It was hands down my favorite place that we ate at. Our server was excellent (I wish I remembered his name). I got the ribeye and it was amazing. I wish I had taken a picture before I devoured it! The Havana margarita was awesome, and the sorbet was delicious also. Next time I am in DC, I am sure to return here!

We had a dinner reservation and this is my POV. The place is nice inside but the lighting is too bright~ no music so a weird silence~ and as of 4/04/2025 NO DESSERT MENU at least that’s what our server said. The menu is basic~ food was good and that was it, sadly.
