Technique is no longer open on a regular basis, but will continue to offer special dining adventures on a fairly regular basis. Meals will now be organized and executed by both active classes as well as student organizations.

Mostly very good except the piano was too LOUD and the prices were a bit too high and the view would be better with coverings
over the windows to the teaching rooms.

I really enjoyed our dinner at Le Cordon Bleu. Wait staff was great. Ambiance was appropriate. Wine selections were perfect! Each course was so exciting! So many flavors and textures together. Plating was absolutely beautiful !!

Valentine's dinner was over-the-top! The students and chefs prepared the most wonderful four course menu that was absolutely fabulous! I look forward to dining again! Hats off to the chefs!!

I have ALWAYS enjoyed this restaurant tremendously. Perhaps it was the menu I didn't like but I expected the kind of fabulous food I've enjoyed there in the past. They didn't have the wine offerings previously offered, the bread was "blah," the dipping oil was even more "blah." The only things enjoyed was the chicken cracklings and pine nut filling and unfortunately, both of those were limited amounts. The "carrot cake" was FAR from carrot cake -- we all agreed it was pumpkin and even our server agreed with us. We asked for decaf coffee and that was quite the LONG wait even tho we were asked twice to give them a couple more minutes. Server was delightful and, in fact, seemed to agree with all our disappointment. Unfortunate for newbies!

Their pre-set four course menu was the one that they won the stat culinary competition with... the same one they will take to regional. It had great variety, was well thought out with unique flavors. The wine pairings were excellently well thought out and complimented the dishes.

I read reviews before the visit and and they were pretty good esp the quality of food. I'm not a big complainer of anything however the food wasn't as good as the restaurant level food.,i picked pasta and a potato soup. food tasted something like what I would have cooked at home, meaning no msg but tastes less flavor and low sodium. I would recommend for a one time visit for fun or different kind of restaurant experience.

We all very much enjoyed the food. Every course was great. The price has doubled since I was last in. We were a little surprised by the cost especially for lunch. We also forgot that it seems to take awhile to get the food. Overall it was still a nice dining experience!

They raised their prices for lunch A LOT since I've been there at the same time food quality has gone downhill big time.
For the price you can have lunch at many of the better restaurants around town.

No wonder we were the only ones there for most of the lunch service. (one table was occupied when we arrived; another table was occupied just before we left.

The last few times I went (more than a year ago), the place was fairly full. It doesn't appear that they're connecting the dots.

The dining experience wasn't polished; but you shouldn't expect that from a school. However, the food and service are worth substantially more than you pay for. The wait staff is very friendly and willing to give tours of the facilities.

We very much enjoyed our lunch, the food was delicious, the service friendly and prompt, the only thing lacking was....bread, we missed that with the soup and salad.
We will be back.

I've been coming here for lunch for quite some time. Every other time was perfect. Today, however, the credit card machine wasn't working and rather than comp the meal they held us hostage until someone left the restaurant and went to go get cash. For a place that makes its revenue on tuition this was unexceptable. Oh, and like some of the other reviewers said, Change the menu.

Please offer more classical French menu items. Please. Your food is wonderful but it's getting old. Why do I say "old" because I've eaten there several times and the menu is very American and never changes. I wanted to give you a low rating on the food, not because its bad but because I'm bored with it, but I couldn't. The food is great the price is better and I love your tea.

4th time here. Love this place. Live to see the students in action. Love the tarragon toast and raspberry Ricky's. one suggestion- change up the menu some. It's getting boring.

The chefs that are instructing these students are world class. They are attentive and they're eye to detail is spot on. I've eaten at several culinary academies and LE Cordon Blue in Dallas is by far the best.

This is a great place to see how our future culinarians are going to shine in the real world. The food was great and the service was great. Most of all I enjoyed watching these young, and some not so young, cooks shine and have fun in the kitchen.

While they only serve lunch, for now, the portions and quality can't be beat for the amount of the meal. This was my third reservation and I had French onion soup, steak frites and fresh fruit sabayon for $13. Everything was prepared well and the tea I ordered was out of this world. I just wish they'd change up the menu a little. It was the exact same menu all 3 times.

Always a treat, but plan to eat at a leisurely pace. Great for a small group celebration. Plan to return in a couple months with a group of friends. You can order one or two courses depending on your appetite. The selections are excellent and offer variety.

This student run restaurant is a great place to eat. $12 and you get gourmet meals. I imagine not every day was like the day I ate there, because its run by different students every 6 weeks, but I'll be back to find out.

Technique at Le Cordon Bleu is run by graduating students, under the tutelage of profession chef instructors. While I was expecting many hiccups I encountered none. The food was outstanding, the service superb and noise level minimal. I really enjoyed the French onion soup. Rather that a gruyer covered crustini they serve small grilled cheese sandwiches for dunking in the soup. They are only open for lunch, right now, so I haven't had a chance to see a dinner menu. For an enexpensive, great lunch I highly recommend Technique.

This restaurant is the showplace for Cordon Bleau students. The food is excellent and the price is great! $15 for appetizer, entre, and desert. The portions seem larger than they used to be. We had to take some leftovers home.

My husband wanted to celebrate my birthday in a special restaurant. He asked me to select a restaurant. I chose Le Cordon Bleu because few years ago my team leader invited our group to dinner there.

I was very impressed by the attention that the staff and manager gave us. The food was excellent and plentiful. We had the three course dinner. At the end we could hardly walked out the restaurant and drive home. I had a stupendous birth day dinner that I would treasure for a long time. Thank you Le Cordon Bleu staff for making my birth day celebration memorable!

The quality of the food was sub par, the preparation was bland and the service was erratic.. We ordered the NY Strip Steak to be prepared medium rare-it was dry to the bone, overcooked and totally white. We sent it back for a redo. The redo took over 20 minutes- while we had to wait and other dishes on the table grew cold. The second round was not much better- the steak was not totally overdone, but it was still dry and insipid/tasteless. The quality of the meat does not help the total lack of quality in the preparation.
Terrible ambiance as well! Staff started to clear and move furniture all around us while we were eating. Horrible experience- terrible food. Never to be recommended!

THE GOOD THINGS
At $17 prix fixe for three courses the price is a bargain;
The wine list is well chosen and the most competitively priced in town
Waitress was well meaning.

THE BAD THINGS
Just about everything else!
None of the food had been checked for seasoning.
Bread was supermarket grade. The baguette would have been fed to the birds in France.
Beef in beef bourguignon was tough and dried out.
Pasta was overcooked. Post dante -- not al dente!
Cream of Asparagus soup was grey and unseasoned. Heavy work to get through.
Fish and chips had tasteless chips - Google Heston Blumenthal's technique.
Service was untrained.
