The atmosphere was nice, food was tasty enjoyed everything except the Black Mamba roll) nice pour on the vodka... it's just that the waitress seemed like we were a bother to her and not very helpful with menu suggestions as it was our first visit.
Good food & excellent service - unfortunately I can’t re her name but our server was terrific and KNEW the menu answering all of our questions-we were a non-sushi group
The entire experience my first was amazing. I’m a gourmet cook the food incredible the atmosphere perfect the presentation fabulous. The only disappointment was the service which lacked. I will most definitely be back. Hopefully better service.
Mother’s Day was great. Creative menu with tasty food. Service was prompt and friendly. Solid restaurant
great food, great service and ambience. Sushi was delicious, as well as pan asian dishes
Food was incredible. The Teak Burger was delicious! Was skeptical since it is a Asian/Sushi place, but turned out perfectly. Others had sushi, pad thai and calamari. Everyone enjoyed their dish. Location to the Count Basie Theater was fabulous. Server was wonderful! Other than the noise level making it a little difficult to talk, the experience was terrific. We will be back!
Not up to their usually high standard this time. Will be dining elsewhere next time we go to Count Basie Theater.
Good food, great location. One block from Count Basie Theater when you're seeing a show there. My husband had sushi rolls and said they were great. I had Drunken Man Noodles which were good but extremely, extremely, over-the-top spicy. I wouldn't get them again unless they tone down the sauce. Our friend had a burger - it was just average but, to be fair, don't go to an Asian fusion restaurant for burgers! Great upbeat atmosphere and good service. Prices are average.
This was our second visit, and we weren't disappointed. We had a selection of small plates and sushi/rolls. The was nothing we ate that wasn't delicious, and we wound up ordering a second plate of the Korean Fried Chicken wings. The service was awesome again as well. Teak is definitely officially on our list of "go to" places in Red Bank!
The food is delicious here with a nice trendy atmosphere. On a Saturday night, and with a club/bar scene upstairs, it does get very loud in there and a little hard to here conversation with people, but all and all, excellent food and service! I would highly recommend.
While the food and service is always great here the unbelievably high level of noise on a crowded Saturday evening brings down the overall experience. We sat in the front room and you literally have to reach across the table to hear your guests speak. When you leave your ears are ringing. I would avoid this place at peak times if you do not like extremely loud restaurants. They need to work on the acoustics of this restaurant. Many restaurants do control the level of noise for its guests.
Food, drinks and service always amazing
Spider-Man roll was delicious and had great presentation. Pork shrimp lo mein was a little disappointing. Drinks and service were great. Little noisy at the bar. Would recommend.
Anniversary Dinner for us. We always love the food and cocktails at Teak. It’s a little bit loud for an intimate dinner but we expected that.
Great diverse menu.
Something for everyone!
Service a little slow.
Kept forgetting to bring some items or not around to ask.
But I would still recommend & come back
Great place. Fancy sushi. Server was great and friendly. Sushi was little bit on expensive side but delicious. Great design environment. Gets noisy during dinner time.
Excellent food & service. We love going to Teak with friends. Very good cocktails and wine list
Our server was excellent and the food was delicious.
Calamari was crispy and spicy. Outstanding! We enjoyed several types of sushi and fabulous ice cream sandwich for dessert. Perfect pre concert meal. Walking distance from Count Basie.
Drinks on pricey side
Everything was delicious! Rock Shrimp and Potstickers were great starters and the sushi was phenomenal. Good cocktails too!
Teak is a fun choice for dining in Red Bank. The food selections are all interesting and delicious. The bar and dining scene are lively. One of our favorite restaurants.
Sushi was really yummy and the service was great too!
The food, drinks and service was great!
Always a pleasure and good time
A little pricey for the shore BUT all the restaurants think they are in NYC. Food was great and server was very nice. We went early so we could hear ourselves think BUT by dessert it was crazy loud. Again, almost all restaurants are getting like this because it is the new world - everyone needs to be heard by everyone in the room. "Don't you know who I am...?"
Ate at Teak before seeing America @ Count Basie.... 1 block away! Food was delicious, specialty drinks were reasonable & Joe our server was attentive and paced our food perfectly!
Made a reservation for my friends birthday and specified it was a birthday. Service was slow, we had to call for the waiter several times and he never asked how anything was. Food was blah we had sushi. Asked for extra sauces and never got them but they were sure on the bill. They never said anything about who’s birthday it was or sang I had to ask for a cake for my friends birthday even though they could tell we were there for a birthday from the reservation. Honestly would not recommend or ever go back there.
food is sooooooo good! Price was right and our waitress was beyond sweet!! Great time, noise level is high but its a fun place!!
One of our favorites places to eat when we are in the area. This was our 3rd visit there & for every visit, the food and the service has been outstanding! My wife loves the variety of the sushi rolls. I'm not a fan of sushi, but there are plenty of other options - I recommend the drunken man noodles or the glazed salmon.
Everything was lovely except restaurant was very noisy. Difficult to have conversation.
We enjoyed the meal and drinks.
We made a meal of the unique sushi rolls on there menu.
Some of the rolls were made with black rice, they were very good.
Went with friends to celebrate my husbands birthday. Food was delicious and drinks were great... try the espresso martini... delish. After dinner we thought we’d go upstairs to have one more drink and found the club was packed and hopping! DJ was great! We had an awesome night out. Teak is one stop shopping.
Great place great food near Count Basie Theater.
Love the restaurant. Food is great. Go all the time. Junior hostess was extremely rude however last time we were there (and it wasn't even busy at all so she had no excuse).
Always a face! And then the music!!!! Sorry had to leave when I did.
We really had a nice time at Teak. Our server was perfect. I regret, I don't remember his name. He kept the passing of the meal going, and never made us feel rushed. The food was tasty, and it was a great time with my mom.
Amazing shrimp ramen dish
Great service and great food. Menu had many options for everyone to choose from.
