Restaurant was outstanding, first time experience there, definitely will go back. Selections on the menu offered many choices; great food.
Lots of activity, real band with good music, weather was great for opening the windows.
Food was very tasty which made up for our waiter not being very knowledgeable or attentive
Usually good but our most recent experience fell very short on service and food.
My favorite restaurant in Red Bank !!!
Food was ok, not great and definitely overpriced. Not bad for dining with kids, main dining area is spacious and pleasant.
Saturday night at this bar/lounge/restaurant was fun if very noisy. Private party upstairs required repeated requests to turn the music down, which they ultimately did. Nice selection of large and small plates. The star was a great Poke salad.
great place to eat before shows at Count Basie Theater. Had the Drunken Noodles followed by Coconut Flan. Both delicious. Like the outdoor vibe, even though we were in the covered part of the restaurant.
Wonderful food and Ramon is a great server.
All round good time
Excellent atmosphere, food and cocktails.
Somewhat limited dinner menu, but food was well prepared, with a lot of flavor. Will go back
This place was amazing! Service was great. Great menu and awesome selection of wines and specialty cocktails. Can’t wait to go back!
Great dinner. Enjoyed it. Thanks
Teak is a great Red Bank destination that’s close to Count Basie and other attractions.
The menu has something for everyone though I recommend their sushi and our food came out lightning fast which is a bonus if you’re in a rush
I think they need more vegetarian options, but their food was good and service was fast. In addition, a few more blended white/red wine options will be helpful too
Always good food and comfortable atmosphere.
The food was excellent, it really was. Delicious and presented beautifully. Service and atmosphere equally so.
The food was out of this world, drinks drenched in flavors, great service, pleasant atmosphere, there is one BUT thou- we felt very rushed and pressured to leave while wanted to enjoy Teak for a little bit longer. We understood that it’s a busy place and people might have been waiting for our table, however we only spent there about 40 min and would have liked to stay for a bit longer.....
I’ve eaten here a few times and this usually was a favorite. Perhaps there has been a change in the kitchen lately. Things just didn’t feel right. The meat in the pot stickers were overdone and the sushi just ok. The Pad Thai didn’t taste as it should. It’s off my list for while.
Service was not good. Finished apps before drinks were served. They sat on the bar for s while. Finally got up myself to get them. Waitress didn't even realize.
Unique Asian fusion menu choices. Excellent sushi grade with interesting combines. Dishes were presented like artwork.
Great weather, great seat (right by the front windows), great food, great service!
Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food very much. Had a drink at the bar to start, then sat for dinner. California rolls, rock shrimp, vegetable dumplings were all great apps.
My son and I had the pineapple rice with shrimp. It was phenomenal. The sushi and edamame we really good. The windows pulled back so it felt like we were eating outside. Delicious! We will definitely be back. Great service too!
Sushi was fantastic and server got us in and out in time to make a show at Count Basie! Can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!
Finally visited this place for a Saturday dinner. Food was very good and would definitely recommend and go back.
Pre-theater meal with my wife and daughter. Tasty food and warm attentive service. Great hot and cold small plates. I would normally call the place a bit pricey but given the location it is understandable.
Very small portions, but delicious
A little loud
I have wanted to try Teak for some time now, and my first time was not disappointing. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the short rib was especially delicious. It was quite noisy when we arrived, but it seems that was coming from a private event upstairs, noise level in the restaurant was a little high, but not enough to keep me from returning!
I usually stay away from "Pan Asian" and would rather dig deep in a single cuisine at a meal. And if you're looking for authentic, this isn't the place. But the food will not disappointed, vibrant flavor and presentation. When our party of three decided to make a meal of small plates, they accommodated our request (at the expected additional cost, of course, no problem) to increase the portions on one or to plates that were just two servings. Next time I visit my friends in Red Bank, I'll go back.
As always the food was great! The waiter we had was someone we’ve had before, a wonderful young man. We love Teak, our favorite place!
Went to Teak prior to a show at Count Basie theater. Waited several minutes for anyone to come over to table. Finally when server came to table with her trainee I informed server I had theater tickets and an 8 pm curtain across the street at the theater. I ordered and waited and waited. I kept her informed about the timing. The apps came out quickly. But, the sushi rolls took forever. I kept asking the server about the rolls and she politely acknowledged me but the sushi took forever. I want to add the food was fabulous and if I wasn’t worried about getting out on time it would have been amazing. So allow yourself sometime.
I really enjoyed my time at Teak. It was my first time dining there. I sat at the bar while waiting for my reservation time. I did indulge in their happy hour specials in which I am still thinking about the French Onion Soup Dumplings (they were out of this world!). At the time of being seated, I was so happy that I initially made reservations, couples that walked in were told an hour wait :( I was seated immediately. The sushi had wonderful combinations, I even tried the black rice which was tasty as well. Our waiter was great and even convinced us to give dessert a try. Wonderful experience from beginning to end.
Weeknight dinner with friends before Dirty Dancing show at Count Basie Theatre... very accommodating knowing we needed to be at an 8 o’clock show... great location for before or after show drinks...food was good and I will go back when I am not on a tight schedule... I would have loved dessert!
This restaurant is awesome
Great food, a variety of classics and different things
Service was good and a great bar upstairs for after dinner drinks and dancing
Third time eating at Teak - never disppoints! Delicious appetizer entree and dessert! We eat at Teak whenever we have tickets to Count Basie. Always make the show in plenty of time.
I met with three of my friends and we started off with the rock shrimp... AMAZING. Very nice size for the shrimp and not too fried. We also got the tartare as an appetizer and I could've had it for a meal it was that delicious. The fish was very fresh and had a nice citrusy taste to it- some bites had a little kick to it. For my meal I ordered a roll and again it was very fresh and delicious.
Our waitress was great and got everything right. Only complaint was she was a little slow on second round of drinks
Seated at small table jammed against wall. They were out of my favorite appetizer. Usually very pleased, but this time, not so much. I'll still be back, however. Sushi is extraordinary.
Food just ok, but the waitress would not take just our appetizer order because “they can’t slow the kitchen down”. Nice enough kid - I am sure she was doing what she was told. We eat out 7 nights a week in Red Bank, we won’t be going back to Teak. Food is ok, place has a decent vibe but, if I am paying premium, I expect premium- I will order as I see fit!
