Amazing shrimp ramen dish
Waitress (Lauren) was excellent
We always enjoy to food and the service was really good on this night. We like to sit in the front as it seems less noisy and chaotic. Though the bar was full, it was not too distracting. Love the Shoshito peppers.
Good food and the server was very pleasant and attentive. In the front room it was a little chilly next to the window, but not unpleasant.
The food and service was excellent would always recommend
The food was excellent and the service was great. The noise level was high. We plan to dine there again
Had dinner here before a show at Count Basie. Food was ok but nothing extraordinary. Service was about the same. Could be more attentive. Wine was so overpriced ($14.95 bottle costs $40) and was served WARM. When my husband commented about the temperature of the wine all the server had to say was "yeah it's kept near the heat" Really? Any decent restaurant should know better than to store their wine near a heat source. Probably wouldn't go back. Wasn't anything great. Just ok. Too many other restaurants in the area to try.
I love s
Teak and always have. It’s a local staple!!
I’ve been wanting to try Teak out for a while so we decided to go before a show at Count Basie. It was very busy due to the show but service was pretty fast and friendly. The sushi and poke bowl was excellent! Can’t wait to come back!
We went in and we walked through the bar area. Very loud. Then into the dining area. Waitress was outstanding and the food was great. We we not rushed at all. And although the noise from the bar was still there we were still able to have a conversation. Overall we had a great time.
I went to teak for my birthday with my girls and we had a blast. The food was good, the service was great, and lounge was a lot of fun. I definitely wanna come back especially for the lounge. The drinks cost was fair, the music was great, and the bar was quick and show great service.
We dined before a show at the nearby Count Basie Theater. They were prepared for having a restaurant full of theater goers concerned about service delays. Nice on tap beer selection. We had small plate appetizers (BBQ Korean Tacos, Cantonese Vegetable Dumplings and Lotus Buns - delish!) one entree (Kung Pao - spicy - order appropriately), one plate of Crazy Monkey rolls and dessert (GET IT! Forget the name but it is their signature ... can you say nutella ice cream and flash fried dough?) and never felt rushed. We will definitely be back!
Consistently amazing food and service! Highly recommend!
Teak is my place to go pre-theater if you like small plates with Asian influences. We shared the chicken lettuce cups and each had a sushi roll. They were all fresh and delicious. The cocktails (I had a lychee martini) were also great. I think within the past year or two, Teak has really stepped up. The only downside for me is the extremely noisy bar scene. Don't sit there if you want to have a conversation.
Food was delicious!
Great food, great service and the restaurant looked nice
My girlfriend's birthday. We had been trying to get to eat at Teak since the Summer but it was always too early and operating hours were late. The food was impeccable and the drinks were even more phenomenal. The ambiance could've been better, it was very casual for what I thought was more of an upscale place. We had an amazing time.
Our waitress was awesome, helpful and attentive. Food was good. Had a couple issues though:
We were one of the first tables there when they opened at 5. Bathrooms were dirty even though they just opened. They sat a large party of loud people right next to us even though the restaurant was empty. Also, they charge $12 for four dumplings as an appetizer. Four? Bad value.
Entrees and edamame were really flavorful, so we will probably give this another try but we will definitely not order the dumplings.
Great Red Bank gem. Great food, service and drinks. Highly recommend
Food was wonderful.
Service was prompt.
Fine selection of wine.
This restaurant is one of the best in Red Bank. Jorge Mannino is the best !!! We will be back !!
Teal never fails to deliver . Excellent cuisine , atmosphere and service ! It is absolutely the “ Go To “ place in Red Bank !
Good food. Good service. Overall a good experience. Nice atmosphere.
Excellent for dining before a Count Basie show. Good service, and food.
Teak has a lot to offer in one spot. We've been here a few times. Nice dinning/bar scene downstairs and a more vibrant music oriented vibe upstairs. We had Wednesday pre theater reservations for dinner downstairs at 6:15. Upon arrival we discovered they had live music upstairs and enough room to seat us all. They happily accommodated the change. Turns out upstairs had happy hour prices all night...so bonus! I had the poke salad and my better half had the lettuce cups and edamame dumplings. We loved it all. While we went the tapas route, they do serve the full menu upstairs. Our table mates both got the burger and were very happy! I'm a beer/wine girl so I don't have an opinion on their mixed drinks...but they have a decent selection of wine and craft beer. The ambiance of the restaurant is upscale cool yet casual. The room upstairs is brand new and is beautiful! They have outdoor seating on both levels which is great for nice weather. Service was fast and friendly...and authentically friendly, not fake friendly...I can tell the difference! Overall a great spot for a full dinner experience or a stop for a drink.
We have eaten at Teak numerous times and have had good experiences
However, every aspect of our visit tonight was a major disappointment. We waited 10 minutes for a server and finally had to ask for one. Someone came over and just poured us water, did not ask if we wanted anything different. We ordered our food, all 4 dishes came out at once. Our table was for 2, could not fit all, nor did we want all. We sent two back. The food was cold, bland and all around disappointing. Not sure we will be back any time soon.
Shared a wonderful meal with friends. Monkey role is a must try.
Food was great friendly staff
I asked for a quiet table as I know it can be very loud. So if you'd like a quiet romantic date that might not be the place to go. But the food is good. My lychee martini too much puree but still palatable
A little pricey, but the sushi was excellent. Lettuce wraps appetizer, really tasty as well. Service was fantastic.
Celebrated a wonderful 24th birthday with our vegan daughter! Kung Pao had the right amount of heat! For meat eaters: the standard $8 tuna and $8 salmon rolls were every bit as good as the signature sushi rolls.
Good food and good service. We went on the night everyone was celebrating Halloween so the bar upstairs was crazy loud in general but the food was still good and my husband and I enjoyed everything we ate.
Went to Teak before a concert at Count Basie. The service was great and festive ... as it was the night of their Halloween costume party. The staff were in great spirits (lol) and the atmosphere was fun but still tasteful. We shared several small plates like the lettuce cups and done sushi. Plus a bottle of warm saki. It was great
I felt the food was not worth the price we paid. I felt the overall dining experience was not why we thought it was going to be.
Service was fantastic bar none. Christian the manager was professional and courteous. He directed us to the upstairs bar while are table was getting ready ( we were a bit on the early side). Lindsay the bartender explained the drink menu and I decided on a IPA that came out frosty cold. Can’t say more. I highly recommend Teak!
Great food and service. Great for pre-theatre food and drinks or post-theatre fun.
Great happy hour deals and nice friendly service definitely still a great place for dinner and.drinks
Concert at count Basie
Great food and service. Have come here several times and never disappointed
