The food had a wonderful fusion mix. Flavors popped out, whether it was the appetizers, cocktails, entrees, or desserts. Definitely recommend Teak, and would go back when in the area again.
We had a great dinner at Teak for restaurant week. The service was excellent, food was plentiful and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend it!
I like the Asian food but tried the ny strip. For $34 or so, it was tough and lacked flavor. My friend ordered the same and felt the same. 1 shared app, dinner, 1 dessert without coffee and 2 drinks each $160. Bit steep. Place is nice but I will stick with Kung pao from now on.
This was our first visit. Service was VERY slow. For example it took 20mins to serve a chipwich. The acoustics are not good and you can barely hear the person next to you. That being said the food once received was very good and creative
We went for Restaurant week! It was a pre fix menu but the selections were fantastic! We had their combo of sushi rolls, short ribs, Asian Cesar salad, edamame dumplings, chocolate lava cake and coconut flan. Cocktails incredible!
The menu has unique renditions of Asian dishes with an interesting blend of flavors and preparation. The presentation is well done and the servings are plentiful. The service was very good and the contemporary decor pleasant to look at and comfortable. I especially liked the dining room open to the outside adjacent to the patio.
If I have one complaint it's with the acoustics. All too often great restaurants are spoiled by tinny reverberate acoustics. Teak, unfortunately, is among that group. The architect of this restaurant definitely traded off acoustic comfort for decor. The good thing is a vast improvement could be achieved without spoiling the look.
There was a horribly loud band playing on their rooftop the Sunday evening I had dinner with a friend. We were looking forward to relaxing and talking. Music was completely inappropriate
Our server Shannon made up for it. She was great
Great service, atmosphere, music, food and drinks. Highly recommend.
The food was excellent. The service was great. My only issue was we felt rushed being it was Friday night. We had three appetizers and we weren’t even finished with them and the main course came out. We don’t get out much as a couple so it bothered both os us.
Liked the food but it got too loud. Some type of sound absorption should be considered
Favorite for Asian fusion and all around dining experience!
Great food with nice vegetarian options! The edamame dumplings are delicious! Having the option to make a reservation is a big plus! We were there on a VERY hot day so the open air patio was closed up and it was VERY loud inside. Perhaps not an issue when it’s opened up.
Enjoyed this restaurant
It gets better every time we go back. The food and drinks are amazing. My family and I have tried a different dish each time. Definitely recommend.
Food and service always great here. Lovely bar scene. Rooftop seating and music great!
Good food, excellent service.
We had dinner before a show at Two Rivers Theatre. Everything was excellent!
I had the Thai Coconut martini, and it was amazing! The Drunken Noodles were delicious as were the Cantonese Vegetable Dumplings. Great dessert menu with home-made ice creams. At 6 pm on a Friday, the bar was nearly full and there were many diners sitting on the open and covered patio area out front. We sat inside to stay cool. They have a roof deck with music, but we didn't venture up. Highly recommend this great restaurant in the heart of Red Bank's vibrant downtown area.
Everyone was at the beach, so we decided to hit Red Bank and enjoy the speedy parking and fine dining. Teak offers an interesting menu, excellent sushi and plenty of seating, both inside and out. I ordered the Thai Lettuce Wraps. Very tasty and after the apps, was just enough for me without feeling stuffed. All in all, great fun.
It was my husband and sons first time here and they truly enjoyed.
Simply wonderful on all counts! Outstanding service & most delectable food!
Went to Teak before a Shoe at The Count Basie Theater. Great food and atmosphere. Our waitress was wonderful and helped us make some great meal selections. So glad she did... the edemame dumplings truly were made in heaven.
Edemame dumplings were excellent!
Service started out good , as far as seating and taking our order, but then never came back to see how everything was & it wasn't that busy, appetizers were really good , but dinner was not I asked for the steak with mushrooms done med , it was well & chewy & more potatoes & other vegetables rather than the mushrooms. My boyfriend asked for pork belly with his dinner & got chicken. we had to wave our server down to have another drink when our dinner came , mind you the beer was empty sitting on the edge of the table. HINT HINT . So with that being said I think the prices were over priced due to the quality of the food & service. We know of better places with better food & prices We don't paying if you get what you are asking for. So no we would not go back. Overrated
Interesting menu with nice variety of choices. However, service was terrible. Place was not crowded early Sunday dinner so cannot imagine how they handle a full crowd. Server and assistant not able to coordinate which was irritating our server since he was running all over the place. They are going for upscale, and clearly the setting and menu achieve this, but really need to improve service.
Way too loud due to noise from upstairs club...
The food at Teak has SOUL! We enjoy everything on the menu.
Restaurant was outstanding, first time experience there, definitely will go back. Selections on the menu offered many choices; great food.
Lots of activity, real band with good music, weather was great for opening the windows.
Food was very tasty which made up for our waiter not being very knowledgeable or attentive
Usually good but our most recent experience fell very short on service and food.
My favorite restaurant in Red Bank !!!
Food was ok, not great and definitely overpriced. Not bad for dining with kids, main dining area is spacious and pleasant.
Saturday night at this bar/lounge/restaurant was fun if very noisy. Private party upstairs required repeated requests to turn the music down, which they ultimately did. Nice selection of large and small plates. The star was a great Poke salad.
great place to eat before shows at Count Basie Theater. Had the Drunken Noodles followed by Coconut Flan. Both delicious. Like the outdoor vibe, even though we were in the covered part of the restaurant.
Wonderful food and Ramon is a great server.
All round good time
