We had our celebration here and had a great time. Prime Rib is wonderful. Salads are fresh and crisp. our server Sally is a gem.

Over the years we have visited Taylor's and every time we are impressed. Although it is not in our area, it is well worth the drive. We look forward to returning and trying new things from your delicious menu. Keep up the good work!

I have been eating at Taylor's in La Canada for the last 25 years or so! It's the best steakhouse in the Foothills! Great service, friendly staff, Terrific food, that's about all I want for a good time! Plus the portions are so big, I will have another complete dinner at home! My wife and I just love Taylor's!

We had made reservations a week prior to our dinner date with friends, total of six. We were seated in the patio(disappointment) next to a roaring fire place,almost got roasted! The table was set for ten, why I don't know and extra settings were not removed. The waiter was requested to have separate checks, initially refused, we were ready to walk out, but later he complied. We brought a special bottle of wine, waiter did not pour our glasses, but charged us $10.00 corking fee, ah well. His demeanor was less pleasant then some of the excellent waitresses at Taylor's. One of our friends actually had to go to the bar for his drinks. My wife and I come to Taylor's regularly and ALWAYS had an excellent experience, this time, trying to impress some new friends, the event was not what I normally find at Taylor's. The food how ever was, as good as it gets, excellent! Yes, I will continue to come to Taylor's, but I will be very aware of who will be serving. Rudy Sylmar, Ca 91342

With so many other steak houses around, it seems this one has seen its best days. The food is always served cold. This staunchy yet cozy place is dimly lit, intimate and best suited for adults. In the past it's been made clear that children aren't necessarily welcomed here. This last visit we had lunch and observed they have hired some younger wait staff who were refreshingly eager and polite unlike the dinner staff we've experienced in the past. For a good steak, there are far better places to frequent.

It is a classic steak house with very good steaks. We have been here multiple times and the steak quality is consistently good. This time we had bad service tho. The wait was long to be first approached by a server, I would say over 10 minutes even to come by and ask for a drink order. Then the person who brought the food out (who was not the waitress) had no idea who ordered what. He stood there saying who had the soup? Felt like we were at Denny's. I don't know that I would be in a huge hurry to go back. Because when you are spending over $30 for a steak I expect better service

Normally we love this restaurant for special occasions, this was my wife's birthday. However this time was very poor -- my wife ordered the dinner culotte, which in the past has been excellent. This time the first cut was tough and cooked medium, my wife ordered medium-rare, so we sent it back. The second piece, although cooked medium. was even tougher. We had the manager take the dinner off the bill. My wife shared my Kansas City sirloin, which was OK. I have the feeling the supplier has changed.
