We went on our last day of vacation and it was the best meal we had while in Florida. My husband and I took our 3 kiddos. We sat outside on the patio. I had the grilled chicken, our oldest had salmon, my husband and middle had the chicken souvlaki. Everyone loved their meals. They serve fresh hummus and bread first. My husband I and both had drinks. I had Aphrodite’s punch and it was amazing. Wonderful restaurant experience.

We ate here twice and loved it the first time — great atmosphere, food amazing and a very attentive server. The second time, the service was not good and the octopus app wAs severely over cooked. Atmosphere and rest of the food, though it took a long time to get to the table, was very good.

I needed to use the men’s toilet and was simply disgusted………. It was a horrific and primitive experience. There is NO excuse for such experience in a restaurant that has been in business for all these years…..Unacceptable and unforgivable.

Absolutely great experience! Some reviewers wrote that it was too loud or chaotic. I disagree. If your looking for a quiet, reserved solemn dining experience perhaps look elsewhere but if your looking for a fantastic, fun, raucous evening with absolutely exceptional Greek food then make a reservation here. You won't regret it.

To begin, I have never reviewed a restaurant before. I made the effort to create an account to tell my experiences. Even though the food took ages to get and order, it was excellent. Service was subpar and the Server we had could not care less about our table. A dinner in a moderately busy restaurant took 2.5 hours. One of our appetizers came 20 minutes after the first one was served. Then it took ANOTHER 30 minutes after our appetizers to order our entrees. After we received our dinner, we did not see our server for the rest of the night. He began waiting on other tables and would not check in our table to the point where our drinks were only refilled ONE time through our meal. After we were finished, we tried multiple times to flag our server to get our bill. In order to get our bill, I had to get out of my seat to request it at the servers station. We were perfectly polite with our server and therefore confused as to why we got this service. I left the restaurant upset about our experience. I worked as a waitress for years and I could not bring myself to not tip him but I really wanted to stiff him.

The manager and hostesses were extremely kind and accommodating. When it started to rain, they quickly moved us inside. It was a lot of food, but delicious! Our waiter was not very attentive. He didn’t check on us much. However they were very busy and he did have multiple tables.

The food here is as close to authentic Greek as it can get. As a foreigner myself, this is the one place I will travel from my home state to just for the food. Customer service is excellent and the water view is unbelievable!

The Sea Bass and the lamb chops were the stars of the dinner. Fantastic !!! Greek salad and tsaziki appetizers were excellent and we enjoyed waterfront dining atmosphere. Service was very attentive and excellent. Reservation through Open Table worked flawlessly. Well done all the way around!!!

One of the Hostess was unfortunately very rude …we asked for a table inside after she asked whether inside or outside and then responded “NOt possible” …however second hostess came back after sitting us outside to accommodate indoor dining If you are looking for a fun time with some decent food …this is the place to be …if looking for something more quiet then ask to sit outside during the belly dancing show …they can accommodate Dishes were late in coming…ir feta fries orde came after we paid?

We came back this year bc the food was so amazing last year when we were here on vacation. This year the food was amazing but the service was terrible. We ate outside. It was a beautiful night. When the food finally arrived my husband did not get the meal he ordered. He ordered a shrimp dish, he got chicken. We told the person who brought the food, she took it away. Our waiter Ed’s never came and apologized just said she would check. I had completely finished my meal and my husbands still hadn’t come out. When it finally did he did say it was delicious. The waitress never apologized, didn’t take any money off the bill and we were there for 1.5 hours with Luke warm water. So disappointing.

Food was good. That was really the only positive part. Service was okay. Atmosphere was not at all good. Very loud. very gimmicky. Not very clean either. The table wasn’t fully cleaned from prior people sitting there- used napkins, food crumbs, etc. cramped crowded space. Couldn’t have conversation at our table because we couldn’t hear each other. Might be fine for some people, but I won’t be back (unless maybe for takeout).

I have been to this restaurant quite a few times. This particular location as well as others. I chose this restaurant in particular for my mothers, sister-in-law and I in particular to have great food, great location and great, fun entertainment. I made sure to book my reservation well in advance to ensure my party and I were able to do just that. Yet what I received in turn was extremely unprofessional decision-making on managements part at this restaurant. Someone thought it would be a good idea to seat a 20 person party that they allowed to grow to over 50 persons WITHOUT A RESERVATION!!! Scheduled paying customers be damned!!! I called at 1920 to advise I would be 7-10 mins late but am still very much utilizing my reservation. Upon calling the hostess found my reservation without complication. Yet upon arriving and waiting to valet We sent our mothers out to check-in and the hostess attempted to them that there was "no reservation under my name. Perhaps this is the wrong location." That quickly changed when I showed them my reservation confirmation as well as my reminder confirmation. We then were told we were next and had an HOUR+ wait. With a reservation!! We were placed outside by the water (which of course is nice) but I had the end/aisle seat of the narrow walkway and had to lean in every time servers and diners passed. And of course, we missed the show which was a large part of why this restaurant was chosen by us. My sister-in-law and I were celebrating our mother-in-law's retirement and having a Moms hang out day getting all 3 of them together. This put a huge damper on a fantastic day!

My husband and I came here twice on our vacation because we loved it so much. The food was amazing! We could eat their Greek salad everyday if we could. It’s a really fun ambiance as well with music and belly dancers in the evening. Check it out if you are wanting delicious Greek food!

Great Greek cuisine! They start you with a bowl of chick peas and olive oil and you mash it to make your own hummus! Served with tasty bread. Wonderful Greek salad with excellent feta cheese. Enjoyed taramasalata with pita bread. The roasted lamb was superb - the best I've ever had. Excellent jumbo shrimps with feta cheese served over rice and asparagus. The galacabotical was a great dessert - although a small piece for sharing. Nice beer, cocktail and wine list.

We have dined here many times. Food is usually excellent. Hummus was dry and without flavor, salmon not fresh and overcooked— I could not eat it. Lamb chops were terrific. Retsina not as good as in past. Spanakopita was different— reheated pie— not freshly baked. Greek salad very good. Hopefully it was just an off night.

We waited 1 hr to be seated for an 8:00 reservation. We were 6. The food came in dribs and drabs. we each ate our food at different times we asked for bread numerous times for our appetizers and only received it when main course arrived an hour later. 3 of us almost finished eating main course when the rest of us received our dishes. it was a fiasco. will NEVER go back

We had a wonderful dinner at Taverna Opa. Really liked the hummus on the table. We had grouper, and lamb chops. The starter of olives and feta was great. So was the eggplant appetizer. My only complaint is that no one picked up our dirty plates on the table.
