Alex and Mia did a fabulous job at service. Great attention to our wants and very personable. The pizza had a fantastic rust and the carbonara was tremendous. Highly recommend this Italian restaurant with great ambiance!

Not an Italian restaurant, more of an “everything for everybody” restaurant. Had a salad and added chicken. The chicken was very over cooked and dry. Poor value for money (even considering Maui resort pricing). Disappointing. Explains why it was not full despite lack of available tables on Open Table.

Great experience. As much as I devoured the lamb I believe my wife’s lasagna was even better. Mai Tai hit the spot. Alejandro took good care of us. Liked it so well I booked again for our last night. Besides the regular menu they have 2 or 3 specials each night.

Our server was fantastic. The Taverna menu on the open table menu is not updated at all. Food and drinks much incorrect from what the menu at Taverna uses. Listening to a dog barking under a nearby table was not enjoyable. Pizza dough was good but not a whole lot of flavor to the pizza. The carbonara was small, not much sauce at all or other items in it. Fish of day was good. Lasagna was flat- not thick. Corkage fee is the same fee as the very high end restaurants on the island- dont think it should be as much as they charge since Taverna is not a high end restaurant. No big deal though.

Our server was stretched thin, that said he was not friendly and was very short with us. Portions for salad and $55 entree fish of the day were very small. Way too much salt on fries and heavily oiled vegetables/potatoes with entree. We still left a 20% + tip because we could see how busy our server was and didn’t take it personally. But we will try other restaurants in the future.

Waitress was great. Restaurant gorgeous, food delicious. Hostess a little unorganized. We had a reservation and were on time. We were told to go to bar because our table was not ready but then they forgot about us and thought we left. Ended up waiting quite a while. They did make up for it with a good table and birthday dessert on the house.

Julie our servers was Great! She was positive and charming in her efforts to be Real. She truly embraces Lahaina Strong! She is brave and upbeat in these times of Tragedy. The food was good. Been to Taverna several times and it was on Par with rest of visits. Two of us had the Special Spaghetti con Vongole and it was really good! It was a white wine base clam sauce that was Fantastic! My wife had the Carbonara that was like an Alfredo with Bacon. It was OK. Remember this is Maui not Rome. If you have a hankering for Italian this is the place on the Westside.🧇⚙️🔫🌅🌅😆⌨️🍋

The wood-fire pizzas were definitely a highlight of the menu. I expected more local fish options, although we thoroughly enjoyed the gnocchi and pasta specials. I'd recommend starting with the pizza though!

Best food on Maui. After several nights of overpriced and similar tasting food it was good to eat the different tasting and delicious meal at Taverna.we don’t eat Italian as much but found the meal here to be wonderful and tasty.

$25 for a small crappy pizza. $21 for a tiny salad. If it was amazing food ok, not for those prices. Service and ambiance was great. They charge a 22% mandatory gratuity for 6 people! Never seen that before, shouldn’t be more than 20%. I wouldn’t go back.

You can describe Taverna using the KISS method. Nothing fancy but just good food, great service and atmosphere. The pizza is good the tuna entree special was excellent and they are using portion control smaller entrees to keep the costs down, which wither great for us. Finally Wednesday nights are 1/2 of certain bottles of wine so a great day to be at Taverna
