   We enjoyed a wonderful meal with friends. We were able to talk without excess noise making it too loud to hear each other. Our meals were delicious.

   Food was great, however there wasn’t enough wait staff for Valentine’s Day . We will return again for the food.

   This was the second time we have dined here. I wanted a special restaurant for Valentine's Day and Tavern didn't disappoint. It had a nice special Valentine's Day menu. We both had the King salmon and it was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, it tasted great. For dessert we shared a chocolate layered mousse cake and it was simply delicious. It was a nice sized portion too which made it nice for sharing. Our service was great too. We had Robert and he was very attentive and the speed of service was fantastic throughout the evening until the end. It got a little slow to get check and leave but no real complaints. The décor is nice. It is definitely a neighborhood gem, and a great place to dine especially for a special occasion or date.

   The food was good but when we found a green part of meat the waitress seemed unconcerned. She appeared irritated the rest of the evening. Waitress was just not personable. Very unimpressed.

   every time we go there we are greeted by john is such a super nice man and Robert always gives us such great service we really enjoy coming there!

   Went there on a snowy evening for a special occasion. Getting there (they are located on a hill) in the snow was a little exciting, but the food and service were worth the trip.

   This is a hidden gem on the West Shore near Harrisburg. It’s located in a neighborhood which is deceiving. You think is going to be an average bar/restaurant but you pull in the lot an have perfect view of the capital building & skyline. The decor is a little dated but the food & service make up for that. We have some very tender grilled calamari in olive oil & vinegar. We used the breadbasket to soak us the marinade. Then we had the lobster Mac cheese which had a great crust on top but was creamy & had big chunks of lobster. Then I had a special which was chopped steak made with filet mignon with potatoes. I had planned to eat 1/2 of it but I could not help myself bc it was so good. I ate the whole thing - I never do that. Our server - Andy - was helpful & friendly. I really enjoyed this place.

    We had a 6:30pm reservation but not seated until 7:00pm but the real issue was the extremely poor service. We were seated near the front window and Emily, our waitress, forgot about us the entire evening. She was late with our drinks, late to take our order, forgot to ask us about dessert and forgot my daughter's tea at the end of the meal. Plus she was not very outgoing and never really made us feel welcome. On a bright note the food was outstanding with everything prepared to our liking.
