After all the hype of eating at Tavern on the Green we were unfortunately let down. Our server was very kind. The food was a huge let down. The 28 day dry aged steak was the equivalent of a chain steakhouse strip. Certainly not worth $75. The chicken breast dry and rubbery. We were in shock honestly. The kids burger sliders came with only two slider and the patties were about an inch and a half wide. My son was still hungry after his meal. The food over all wasn’t worth the price tag. My husband did like his Brooklyn drink and my champagne was just fine. We just expected top tier food for a $250 meal.

We love this special restaurant! The steak sandwich was phenomenal this visit. The staff is always over the top at ensuring guest are always taken care of.

We had the burrata and salmon. My daughter loved the salmon. I wasn’t crazy about the burrata because the tomato’s were so warm. The mini rolls tasted like something from a school cafeteria. However, the restaurant is the perfect location and stunning. Great experience, didn’t even care what I ate.

Great food and exceptional service. Our food was truly fresh and extremely tasty and our server was personable and attentive. The holiday decorations were adorable and the staff were so nice.

The decor and atmosphere were perfect for Christmas. They had quite a large number of well trained, professional, and courteous staff which made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. The food was excellent. Love coming here.

Amazing holiday classic! The decor is just amazing- beautifully decorated for the holidays. The food was equally amazing. We had the tomahawk steak special with three included sides. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. The lobster Mac and cheese and vegetables were delicious and the presentation was worthy of photos which didn’t do it justice. The service was friendly but efficient. We will be back.
