   A gorgeous setting in the middle of Central Park on a beautiful Spring afternoon with my husband of 29 years! The food did not disappoint either! We had our minds set and then they shared the specials for the day and we both changed our minds. I chose the filet mignon flatbread and the hubby went with the grilled Caesar salad with bacon tomato and chicken! Both were absolutely delicious!

   We had a lovely meal, the weather was perfect and service excellent. The only problem was the two very loud Italian men sitting right next to us. The entire patio was filled with quiet respectful diners, except those two!! Not the Tavern’s fault, just very annoying.

   We enjoyed playing tourist today!🤣. We gathered, as a family to celebrate mothers day, and we had an excellent experience. The food and service were magnificent 👌.

   Very good they moved to outside because it was too hot inside Everyone was very friendly, a little pricey, but you are in New York City

   The sea food tower was the worst collection of sea food I have ever seen. The lobster was marginal shrimp was good but the over populated collection of clams was horrible.

   Herbert was an outstanding server and Ali was very attentive. This is a magical place. The bronzino was the best we’ve ever had. One persons grilled sirloin was cooked as asked. Received a complimentary dessert for a birthday. TOG never disappoints. A must when in NYC

   It is interesting that the survey asked about noise level, with the top rating being "energetic". The npise level was too high and is the only reason I gave a lower rating. Tavern on the Green is a very nice restaurant and the noise level was distracting.

    The service, food, and atmosphere all made for the perfect night! I highly recommend going if you want a nice dinner at reasonable prices.
