Food was delicious service was great and the drinks were amazing highly recommend!
This was a birthday dinner for me and my guest and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The food was excellent, the waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, and we plan to be back. I'm back here
This was our second time at this restaurant. Both times were for brunch. I’d recommend the crab cakes Benedict.
We sat at an outdoor table, which was quite pleasant. The service was a little slow, but willing and cheerful, so it was no big problem.
Service was lacking which is unusual. Server seemed to have little patience. Other than that, we love the Tavern!!
Good food excellent service
Tried a new dish--Lobster Ravioli. It was smothered with sauce making it pretty impossible to taste the ravioli or its filling. Otherwise, waitress was friendly and courteous.
We had a great meal. Good value on food and drinks.
Local restaurant with great food, moderate prices, and a very friendly wait staff.
Great casual restaurant!
Great brunch, the breakfast tacos are a MUST!
Food was very good and service very attentive. It got pretty loud by the time we got our food and it was a little difficult to have a conversation. Otherwise, we were pleased.
The service was slow as our waiter was new and they had some technical problems, the food was just okay for us and the drinks lacked luster. I may give them another try again someday. We may have just caught them on an off day.
Always a pleasurable experience
Chris was a superb waiter, even though he was very busy. Dave, the Manager, came by several times to help, but nobody hovered. Pork chops were superb. Value was good. Noise level was a bit high, but I was glad to see every seat filled.
The Tavern is a very nice place to have lunch with friends.
This is the 4th time we have been to The Tavern. I love the location. We sat outside. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Bar was a little backed up on drink orders but it was crowded. I had the pork chop and it was fabulous. The heirloom salad was terrific. Chicken spendini was ok.
We will definitely be going back.
Our poor waiter had a tough time taking care of us because the restaurant was so short staffed! The service was atypically poor. I hope they able to recruit waiters so that their business is not negatively impacted.
The noise was horrible. Could not hear my dinner companion. Also Our service was very slow. Had to ask for a waiter to take our order. And a salad took 30 minutes to arrive.
Need to fix both but still love coming here.
Coffee served was barely warm. Risotto with Spedini was also lukewarm. Other dishes excellent!
Best beef stroganoff. Trout also a fav. Like many restaurants, currently struggling to get enough help. Staff was great, just stretched thin.
Always a solid experience. Good food, service was professional yet casual. The pork chop was delicious.
It was terrific
Nice atmosphere and great food. Service was a tad bit slow.
They have a variety of different types of food, but not an overwhelming number of selections, which makes it easy for people of different preferences find something they will enjoy. I had the Salmon Club and it was delicious.
Everything was great. We arrived a little early, and the hostess was awkward about that. We ended up volunteering to wait outside. The service and food were fabulous after the weird encounter upon arrival. The Brunch is amazing!
Excellent atmospheric atmosphere and food. Wait staff is a bit busy/distracted/inattentive.
This was our first time dining at this location, we have been to the Tavern in Misson Farms and liked that restaurant. It was Mother’s Day dinner and they placed was packed! I had the filet and my husband had the salmon and they both were delicious.
Mother’s Day brunch.
Tavern in the Village is always outstanding! The bruschetta appetizer is a must!
Six young women loud at next table to the point of rudeness
We love Tavern and used to go all the time before covid. They are just beginning to get their crowd back. Wine was perfect, service attentive. The tomato soup was delicious. The crab cakes weren’t up to their usual standards for some reason - tough and almost burned on the bottom. But it was great to be out again!
Food and service very good! Sat outside - we were a little cold which had nothing to do with the service! Waiters friendly and helpful.
Consistently good food choices and prep. Great service
What I like most about this restaurant are two things: The menu is wide and varied, and anything you choose will be good! AND the prices are reasonable. Service is excellent.
A great place for dinner any day of the week. If you haven't tried Tavern In The Village you should. You won't regret it!
We like the Tavern in the Village because it is a neighborhood venue. We always see friends and neighbors there. We like the food, but wish Kelly would change up the menu sometimes or add specials as we have seen the same menu since the original opening several years ago. We especially like the casual atmosphere.
