Our server, Grant was phenomenal! Very attentive but not obnoxious. The food was amazing, too!
Great food, wonderful service! Lovely for a girls lunch!
Always great food and service. The soups are really good and the sandwiches are excellent
Everything was great....
Food and service were great. The high ceilings and concrete floors made for difficult conversations.
Service was impeccable! Everyone was friendly and prompt. Booths were spacious and private. Food portions were decent. My only complaint was the amount of salt on everything. It’s easy to for someone to put more salt on their food but it’s impossible to take it away.
Excellent valentines day dinner.
I surprised my husband with dinner for Valentine’s Day and wanted a nice romantic restaurant. We met friends there for drinks, which were delicious, then proceeded to our dinner. We were waited on by Amanda, who was outstanding! We ordered fried Mac & cheese for an appetizer and the filet & lobster special with an added wedge. The food was spectacular and my husband had an outstanding time. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was lovely. We would love to return.
They never fail to please. Our server - Sarah - was perfect for us. Totally another great experience. Can't wait to come back.
Overall a very good experience! I have been to some higher scal restaurants, so those would be my first choice. But this was delicious food, with a great selection, at a very good price, and the service was really good too. I would go here again.
Great service and food!
The white wine was not cold which just starts the dining experience off on a bad note. There were fruit flies at our table. The chicken on my salad was very tough and chewy. Our waiter was very nice.
Christopher was our waiter and one thing you have trained your waiters to do is not rush us. We had our booth from 5:30 until 8:15 and Christopher checked on us, but in no way indicated we needed to leave. I would think his worst customers are 3 talking ladies. We tipped him well and it was deserved since we held the booth for the entire dinner hour. Our food was just what we wanted - splitting appetizers. It was a perfect evening. The Tavern is our "go to" place for our girls night out!
Their brunch menu was fine with options for both breakfast and lunch
First time at this location. We had a great table for four that felt almost private. Best cosmo I've had in years! Shared apps of crab cakes and calamari both good... just enough to sample but not too much. The salmon was excellent and everyone enjoyed their choices. Our waiter was great... friendly and helpful and added much to the overall experience. We finished with sharing an order of the cinnamon donuts... got two each and it was just enough. A perfect dinner out.
Dinner was very good. It was an early Valentine’s Day date. Our service and meal were timely, and the food was excellent. Thanks much!
Our waiter was fantastic and food terrific. Really enjoyed our time there.
Lovely meal overall, but I’m quite sure the mushrooms served with the tarragon chicken were canned, which was disappointing and seemed not to fit the vibe of this establishment. The beer selection could be a bit better, as there are quite a number of great local breweries to feature, and several that are better than their current features. Service was generally spot on, timely, polite. Atmosphere is really lovely.
Good food and great service. Enjoyed by all. Thanks
Great. Food always good
It was our first time to The Tavern. Devon our server actually made our night. The food was ...ok...flavorful just not ....OMG. Devon however was attentive, helpful, seem d very genuine in his wanting us to have a great experience. Ultimately we will go back but.... we won’t hurry back.
We always enjoy Tavern at Mission Farms with our friends. Very good place for conversation. There's a variety of foods. We don't eat meats, and in some restaurants have problems finding the variety we want. But that's never a problem with Tavern. We've had the same server the last two times. She remembers us, makes good suggestions, is very personable while not being intrusion, and has a great sense of humor. Helps make dining a pleasant experience.
Good variety of food. I try to always pick a new item. Thank you.
Patty melt bread was soggy - need to fix that
Love this place and the food.
Had the salmon from the Restaurant Week menu - it was really good.
One of my favorite restaurants!
It was great, except one minor hiccup. My wife brought her house Chardonnay from the bar to our table. There was a little left and she ordered another. They bring the wine in a mini-carafe and as opposed to pouring it in a new wine glass they poured it in the glass with about 1” of Chardonnay left. The problem, the wine they brought was not Chardonnay but Sauvignon Blanc. Not good when mixed in the same glass. Of course my wife didn’t tell any one until we got home. So, at no fault of the restaurant they could not make it right.
This was one of the best experiences we've had at a restaurant.
We had been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally made it in. It is a large restaurant and has very nice decor. Lots of bar seating and good cocktail selection. The food was very good and service was good. My only complaint was no beer on tap.
Restaurant week, first time and excellent!!! Will go back, was made excellent because of our server- Devon. He is very personable and gave excellent recommendations!
Long hair wrapped around napkin when I sat down I asked the waitress for a new one and she was very rude and dismissive.
My reservation for 2 in a booth made some time ago was not honored as I requested booth and we had to sit in the back me facing a wall. Apparently others also made reservations and they got what they asked for. I walked by the booths and they were set for four people vs my paltry 2. Terribly disappointing as was our waiter and the food.
Done with this restaurant there are many other wonderful places to dine. If you keep sending texts asking for you to confirm your reservation one would assume when you arrive your requests would be honored. Tavern should be taken off Open Door for not honoring a reservation after receiving multiple confirmations from the hopeful diner. This was a special occasion that Tavern squashed. Shame on you.
We had a great server who was very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The food was very good and good value. This was my first time getting lunch here and the options were just as good and varied as dinner. I will be back.
Why why why do you provide syrup in a plastic to go container LIKE MCDONALD’s??!! Even First Watch has the decency to use a syrup decanter. I will honestly not go back to brunch if you continue this practice. Tarven, I thought you were above that.
The Baked Brie was amazing. I had the Pollock and it was delicious. Very enjoyable and relaxing lunch.
Out party of six had a great time. The server was accommodating. I ordered French toast with bacon, and requested crisp bacon. It was perfect.
Always excellent food. Service was slow but it was really busy.
Great food. Debbie is a good server.
We were there for New Years Eve. The service was great through ordering of our meal. Then, it STOPPED. We seemed to have lost our server. Zero follow up for drinks, checking in, asking about dessert. When we did finally catch him about dessert, he said the kitchen was closed because of the party at the bar! So, the regular tables are abandoned? Why weren't we notified? This was before 10:30. He relented and said he would check, and we did get dessert. However, I think the server was reassigned to the bar area and literally could not cover us also. IT WAS NOT VERY BUSY. Very disappointing for a holiday.
