Enjoyed the meal and the service was excellent! Had a reservation, walked in before our time and they still seated us right away! Will be back!

Everything was amazing. We ordered simply off the appetizer menu and shared it amongst three people! Great food and excellent service!

The hostess was so rude, we walked out. That written, we’ve dined there many times and loved their food and service. However, being chastised before you even sit down sets a poor tone. We won’t be going back there.

We were outside. It was amazing!!! Perfect weather, lots of dolphin sightings, great food, great service. Our server wore a mask the whole time and we appreciated that.

We were a bit concerned about COVID precautions. It was quite crowded at the bar with no one wearing a mask even one bartender! The service was slaw but the Food was amazing. We were also disappointed that even though we had reservations we could not be seated outside. There would be a 90 minute wait. You could have requested our preference when we made our reservation a good week in advance.

The brunch was excellent!

Had a series of unfortunate circumstances.
Took very long to get service, the very long to get meal (1hour) And My order came out incorrectly and had to go back ... changed order to get something that I could get more quickly. (Scrambled eggs)
In addition, Didn’t have any biscuits. Told us we could have one for the table but they had to ration them (not from Charleston so come there to get the amazing biscuits was a highlight). We were told we had to purchase the biscuits and gravy just to get the biscuit?!?!
Waitress tried really hard. She was sweet.
Atmosphere was nice.

Enjoyed the food. Very good variety and flavor.

Will definitely go back next time im in town.

The only issue we had was that I ordered the special and they were all out (Friday at 6pm seemed a little early to run out of a special).

We enjoy tavern and table, this visit was just not up to par. Our food was not cooked well and when we took two bites of our appetizer and let the server take it away she never asked if there was an issue. Over all the inattention of the staff took away from the night.

Bad table, next to the kitchen door and super freezing cold for some reason... food was middle of the road, nothing special. Our server was fine. Zero healthy options geared toward non meat eating people - someday in Charleston this will start to change. Drinks were fine.

Lovely atmosphere, clean and wonderful service. The meal was good not overwhelming but overall a nice night out.

Great menu and there is something for everyones taste. service was attentive and had no issues with anything. We sat out on the patio and there were heaters. Great atmosphere, great food and great service. What more can anyone ask for?

Dinner was excellent. Our server made recommendations that were on point. She was very helpful and kept us comfortable and happy.

We had brunch and it was wonderful. We had made reservations as we heard it was popular. It was crowded, but no real wait when we arrived. The service and the food was wonderful.

We have always had a great time dining here. Service was excellent, food very good. Mgr stopped by to say hello. Very attentive, not overbearing. Right on Shem Creek, another positive.

Tavern and Table has paired down their menu substantially, but for good reason. During Covid, they chose to concentrate on a few great things and do them well. Smart. Will be back!

Was seated outside on the patio with heaters, view of the water. We ordered from the brunch menu and everything tasted amazing!

We enjoyed the view from the porch and the brunch buffet was generous and reasonably priced. After dining, we took a stroll around the beautiful boardwalk at Shem Creek where we saw dolphins, pelicans, egrets, cormorants, among other low country wildlife. Overall, it was a great way to celebrate our anniversary.

We shared Shrimp and Grits and our waitress was wonderful at explaining how it was Gluten free and was so attentive! Such a yummy lunch!

Due to the virus the restaurant was not overly crowded. We had such a wonderful time and had great service

the hostess and host (the young guy on his phone at the outside bar) need training in customer service. I keep hoping their service will improve but it neve does.
