Tavern & Table
Shrimp & Grits
marsh hen mill grits, shallot cream sauce, chorizo, cherry tomatoes, aleppo pepper
smoked bacon, sherry vinaigrette, parmesan
caramelized onions, bacon jam, blue cheese, baby arugula
The waitress was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, the menu and food was very average although the brisket Mac and cheese appetizer was great.
I think it’s the best spot along Shems Creek!
Noise was a little high with some over zealous golfers, buts thats ok. Had some special food needs for one individual and they very accomodating.
We had a extremely hard time finding one of their free parking spots. Drove around lot at least 8 times. Paid parking was $15.00 for 4 hours which is a rip-off. Service was okay… waiter could have come by more to refill our water. Food was good … hardly anyone was in our area eating; many open tables.
Very enjoyable experience. Visited during a recent trip to Charleston. Need a car to get to the restaurant- but it’s well worth the 10 minute trip.
Thanks for a great evening
Lovely to sit outside. The food and service was great even being short staffed and out of items. Probably our best food experience while in Charleston.
We were very, very disappointed with this meal. Although we had made a reservation well in advance for an early dinner (6pm), we were quite surprised to find that a number of items on the menu were unavailable, to include very common seafood items such as shrimp and oysters, items that one would expect to find in a restaurant that advertises its waterfront dining. In addition, a specialty drink was also unavailable. As a result, the menu was very limited and basic, making it unlikely that we will return. The saving grace was our server, who had a very difficult job of having to serve mediocre food choices since our first choices were all unavailable.
Good food and very friendly service.
Great food and the service was on point. Our server was training and we wouldn't even know it if she didn't tell us. She was great!
The staff, the food, the atmosphere, and everything else was truly wonderful! It was a beautiful place and it is definitely worth trying out!
We were meeting friends we hadn’t seen in a while on a Saturday night in a busy area. The restaurant was plenty busy, but we were seated immediately. Our server was training someone new. Both women were really personable and capable. Our drinks came out fast. Our food was quick and all together. We had an excellent experience.
Always a favorite spot! Love the fire roasted oysters and the ambiance.
We had the Italian flatbread snd a salad with steak. Both were great. The steak was cooked perfectly and was larger than I expected. 6-8 ounces
We enjoyed the charcuterie board to start and thought they had a good selection of cocktails and beer. My husband loved the peel and eat shrimp and burnt ends mac and cheese. I thought the double double burger was tasty. Desserts weren't the best (chocolate tart and Strawberry ice cream). Great service, we'd recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at tavern and table. Enjoyed sitting outside watching all the boats. Had a delicious lunch and the service was outstanding. We’ve eaten dinner there as well and had the same experience.
Chris, our waiter was outstanding! 👍
Réservations must be guaranteed with a credit card but the choices on their menu that we chose the restaurant for weren’t being offered that day with no notices posted anywhere. I requested a table with a view far in advance and none were available. I wouldn’t return.
Freaking delish and beautiful!
Go eat at T and T
Our server was amazing we had a group of six people some very picky with a lot of questions she was patient and outstanding I was really impressed
The tuna bowl is killer! And they do a great classic shrimp & grits. Love the ambiance, (classy casual), great service, would highly recommend choosing this spot over any other on that strip.
Outside on the patio is a perfect Covid friendly location.
Limited menu options. $57 for a large pork chop is very pricey.
$17.50 for paid parking is outrageous
The brunch food was FANTASTIC. The portions were large. The service was great!! We will definitely be back.
The food was incredible and the service was perfect!
Food was not good. Caesar salad served with no dressing, key lime cheesecake that was inedible. Servers very inexperienced throughout Charleston, and these were especially inattentive
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. 10/10+++
We had a problem with traffic and thought we’d be 20 minutes late. Called the restaurant and let them know our status and they were very nice. Had a great meal with friends but the overall experience for me was ruined wondering if I’d be charged the $100 reservation deposit for being late. Lots of great places to eat around here. Pick one that doesn’t charge just to reserve a table.
I went there with a friend to celebrate our birthdays! Our waiter was great and agreed to take our picture. He then gave us a bday treat!
The food, atmosphere, and staff were amazing! Sam was an excellent server! Definitely a great place to eat when in town!
Great location, Great Food, Great Service. Plenty of parking with new garage.
We’ve been here quite a few times and today was the best meal yet!!! We had the biscuits and gravy, the T & T Burrito and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and all 3 were soooo delicious and the view was just amazing!!! Wonderful meal and wonderful place!!!
From the start I should have walked out
Hostesses were unfriendly and unwelcoming with a total lack of customer care
Server was unmotivated and was obviously struggling to be average
Food was forgettable - not special
For our last meal in the Charleston area - beyond disappointing !
Get it together management. Raise the bar!
Beautiful interior, really good service. Food is ok
We couldn't decide which appetizer to choose since they all looked fabulous! Ended up ordering several and loved them all. The 30 ounce pork chop was Amazing and plenty for 2 people. Very tender and juicy.
Brunch was wonderful! Love the atmosphere and outdoor seating was so nice!
Everything was amazing! Highly recommend the burnt end Mac & cheese small plate!
Eat inside or they have a FANTASTIC outdoor dining area overlooking Shem Creek and all the fun water activities going on as well as beautiful boats. We went at 11 for brunch. Waitress was really good and food was REALLY DELICIOUS! Had the mac-n-chz burnt ends as app and the prime rib sandwich with chz fondue and the Spicy Italian flatbread pizza. Very FRESH and much enjoyed! Highly recommend, but suggest a reservation.
Sat outside and it was perfect weather and good people watching. Service and food are good. We shared appetizers only - pretzel, Mac we did not eat an entree. We sampled the local beers which were good. Happy hour is only at the bar. Reserve a table if possible
Easy to talk, service was excellent and good times were had by all.
