caramelized onions, bacon jam, blue cheese, baby arugula
smoked bacon, sherry vinaigrette, parmesan
Great venue with excellent service, delicious food, and a real holiday atmosphere!
First visit. The fig and prosciutto flatbread was outstanding! The bison burger was very good, but beware that the blue cheese made it very salty. Perhaps remove a bit.
Awesome spicy bloody marys. The bar area looks very inviting. We ate in the dining room which was very nice. We will definitely return!
It was awesome
My wife and I celebrated our wedding at Tavern and Tables. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and food. We intend to bring our entire family with us the next time. I guess I should focus a bit more on the food. First let me say, our food was delicious. We both ordered flatbread entrees. We also ordered hot pretzels which was very good. We'll order it again. We also ordered their Cornbread which I was not so keen with. Don't get me wrong, it was okay but nothing to write home about. We also ordered a mix green salad and that was awesome. Their Ranch dressing was delicious. Overall, I would recommend Tavern and Table if you are looking for great food done right. My only complaint is the selection of the menu. There was 10 or 11 items to choose from. 3 were flatbread, 2 were burger and a few seafood, 1 beef, 1 pork, and 1 or 2 chicken entrees to choose from. That's it! With that said, what we ordered was awesome except the cornbread which was good! Sevice was excellent. Our server was knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. Things move at a slower pace. This is not fast food so enjoy the atmosphere, your dining company and the entire experience. Reservations are highly recommended.
The duck stuffed pumpkin was incredible! The donuts on the brunch menu are a big favorite as well. Service is terrific, ambiance perfect for a girl’s brunch or a date day.
We went for Sunday brunch and arrived just as they opened so were able to get a fantastic table outside on the water. Our host made sure we sat exactly where we preferred and was very kind about it.
Our server was on point. Not overbearing or absent. Just right.
The food was the best meal we had on our weekend away. The shrimp and grits w chicken fried cheese curds was so incredible, I couldn’t stop taking about it.
All in all a perfect meal.
It was casually pleasant. A bit more quiet than usual. Not so frantic.
The shrimp cocktail was overcooked, it was still good , but not as good as it should be.
Good place for a group. Food is good, service is friendly, prices are moderate.
Usually a better experience overall.
Food was over cooked and very average
Really good brunch! Shrimp server was very attentive & kind
The food was good not fantastic. They brought the salad with food so it got cooled down. Not perfect but we would go back.
Food and service was excellent! Flatbreads are great!
Was a good place and will look to go back in the future. Would have been nice if they would have comped a dessert for our anniversary, or even acknowledged it. Not all restaurants do that I know, so not holding that against them, just would have been nice. The quality of the food was very good and that's priority!
We happened to b seated at a table next to a very large noisy party. They left after a while and then another large noisier party was seated at same table. By then it was too late for asked to b moved.
It was very difficult to have a conversation with my friend. We were shouting at each other.
The server never said anything either so I suppose the blame lies with us.
If I ever come back, u can b sure I will not let my current experience with ur establishment happen again.
Server was not very friendly, hardly smiled.food was ok
Menu is very limited. Food was good, but for a waterfront restaurant you’d expect to see seafood options. Flounder and grits just don’t make the cut.
Our server Jonathan was wonderful, but the food was a bit cold and slightly undercooked.
Menu was very limited.
However, the quality of entrees was good.
Our server Chris was outstanding and the food was excellent.
First time visiting this restaurant. Great atmosphere right on the water. Our waitress was friendly and efficient.
Food ( French fries) were all Over the floor at our table from previous diners. The shrimp was mushy. Flounder had no taste. Our waitress was unfriendly and not very observant. I had something red frozen in my ice. Very disappointed
The place was great. It was clean and the food was awesome. The service was great as well. We had a baby with us and the noise level was low enough to not upset him.
The waitress was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, the menu and food was very average although the brisket Mac and cheese appetizer was great.
I think it’s the best spot along Shems Creek!
Noise was a little high with some over zealous golfers, buts thats ok. Had some special food needs for one individual and they very accomodating.
We had a extremely hard time finding one of their free parking spots. Drove around lot at least 8 times. Paid parking was $15.00 for 4 hours which is a rip-off. Service was okay… waiter could have come by more to refill our water. Food was good … hardly anyone was in our area eating; many open tables.
Very enjoyable experience. Visited during a recent trip to Charleston. Need a car to get to the restaurant- but it’s well worth the 10 minute trip.
Thanks for a great evening
Lovely to sit outside. The food and service was great even being short staffed and out of items. Probably our best food experience while in Charleston.
We were very, very disappointed with this meal. Although we had made a reservation well in advance for an early dinner (6pm), we were quite surprised to find that a number of items on the menu were unavailable, to include very common seafood items such as shrimp and oysters, items that one would expect to find in a restaurant that advertises its waterfront dining. In addition, a specialty drink was also unavailable. As a result, the menu was very limited and basic, making it unlikely that we will return. The saving grace was our server, who had a very difficult job of having to serve mediocre food choices since our first choices were all unavailable.
Good food and very friendly service.
Great food and the service was on point. Our server was training and we wouldn't even know it if she didn't tell us. She was great!
The staff, the food, the atmosphere, and everything else was truly wonderful! It was a beautiful place and it is definitely worth trying out!
We were meeting friends we hadn’t seen in a while on a Saturday night in a busy area. The restaurant was plenty busy, but we were seated immediately. Our server was training someone new. Both women were really personable and capable. Our drinks came out fast. Our food was quick and all together. We had an excellent experience.
Always a favorite spot! Love the fire roasted oysters and the ambiance.
We had the Italian flatbread snd a salad with steak. Both were great. The steak was cooked perfectly and was larger than I expected. 6-8 ounces
We enjoyed the charcuterie board to start and thought they had a good selection of cocktails and beer. My husband loved the peel and eat shrimp and burnt ends mac and cheese. I thought the double double burger was tasty. Desserts weren't the best (chocolate tart and Strawberry ice cream). Great service, we'd recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at tavern and table. Enjoyed sitting outside watching all the boats. Had a delicious lunch and the service was outstanding. We’ve eaten dinner there as well and had the same experience.
Chris, our waiter was outstanding! 👍
Réservations must be guaranteed with a credit card but the choices on their menu that we chose the restaurant for weren’t being offered that day with no notices posted anywhere. I requested a table with a view far in advance and none were available. I wouldn’t return.
