Tavern & Table
Have really enjoyed dinner here but brunch was meh
T&T is a great spot for socializing. The ambiance is amazing with beautiful decor. I was not as impressed by the food, however. Seems like it has gone downhill, but maybe it was what I ordered.
Let me start off saying the food was fantastic. From the shrimp app to the steak and shrimp & grits, was all spot on. Place was a little on loud side, but feel that is from the St. Patty day folks whom had been drinking the whole day. Our server Austin ( female ) seemed fairly disengaged and appeared she was more interested in the party atmosphere.
Great food, service, and atmosphere. We will go back soon.
The food and atmosphere was great. Lovely view of the bay and boats.
Our server was absolutely fantastic. Sweet, respectful and knowledgeable!
We enjoyed our dinner! Great food and a very cool restaurant.
Great service. The three daily specials were all outstanding. The brussel sprouts are amazing.
My personal opinion. I felt that its over price, for the potion of the food you get; on top of that you have no where to park other the the parking garage. But, than you have to pay again to get your vehicle out. There should be a better way for you guys to accommodate your patrons. One last thing you should offer FREE rolls with butter. ( JUST A SUGGESTION) I may visit again
Good meal. Had the fried deviled eggs for an appetizer then went with the bison stroganoff for my main course. Very good. My wife had the double burger which was also good.
Incredible food, service, and views as always!
Beautiful , lots of space.. and you could talk! Also enjoyed the food and selection. Definitely will go back!
Lots of great choices on the menu, with Lowcountry spins on some classics - like mac and cheese with brisket and bbq sauce and fried deviled eggs. Our assigned server disappeared for long period and had difficulty figuring out how to evenly split the check between two people. Neighboring tables with small children added to the noise level as well as construction going on outside. Loved the decor and overall feel of the interior. May try again for dinner to avoid work crews outside and hopefully fewer kids.
Our service was fantastic, food was delicious, and drinks were perfect. The atmosphere was great for a date night. The view tied everything together. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip!
Disappointed with our visit. Server was not very attentive. Food was not hot and was over spiced. Not as invigorating an experience as in the past. Will have to think twice about returning there anytime soon.
Great Brunch as usual !!
Food was absolutely amazing!!! And Annabelle was fantastic, so sweet and helpful!! Ambiance was cozy but still elegant. What a beautiful setting and perfect place to celebrate a birthday!!
Food was excellent, service was impeccable and I’m going back!
For the most everything was great and has been in the past. This time our steak was extremely tough and the pork tenderloin was mostly fat. Everything else was great though.
Nice place to celebrate my birthday
They even brought me a candle with cake
Beautiful dinner on the patio. Perfect sunset view over the water!
Dined here for Saturday lunch. The restaurant is really beautiful. Many thoughtful details make the space appealing and comfortable. Our server was very nice, attentive but not intrusive. I ordered the fig and prosciutto flatbread. It was good, but the crust was very tough. My friend loved her Mac and cheese. Definitely will come again.
Shared a bottle of wine and some recommended small plates that hit the spot! Great attentive service!
Great service. Delicious food. Fantastic waiter
The dynamite shrimp as an appetizer was wonderful! Great suggestion from our server. We ordered flat bread at the bar with our drink (fantastic spicy virgin mary) but did not get the pepperoni we requested. Although they offered to remake it, we chose not to as we needed to move on with our party to dinner. I was a little disappointed since I was very interested in trying their own pepperoni.
I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. It was under-seasoned and there is no salt on the table and while I could have requested it, we were focused on our dinner guests. Next time I will ask for salt. Overall, good food and ambiance.
I definitely would return to try more dishes. The Clam Chowder was amazing and the house salad was refreshing. Our server was friendly and attentive!
This was not my first time dining at T&T and promise you, I'll be back again and soon! Always enjoy the experience from start to finish! Perfect atmosphere on the water, that truly cannot be beat! Food and service always delivers! Keep up the good work T&T!
Met our friends for a late lunch. Great meal!
Had the seared scallops and they were scorched well done in one side and raw on the other. Should have sent them back but was feeling generous. Not our greatest experience. Need to bring back original roasted oysters recipe.
My husband and I were not impressed with the food at all. Service was good and atmosphere was nice.
My wife and I brought a couple with us to Charleston for the weekend, we frequently visit Charleston six or eight times annually we had heard great reviews about the restaurant, we were so disappointed very slim selection of entrées and neither of the party enjoyed their dinner... we were so so disappointed. Drinks were great .. view was awesome server was mediocre, probably would not go back ...
Beautiful view, terrific food, excellent service, made for a wonderful evening. Thank you.
We had reservations and when we got there they were ready on time. We asked to be moved outside and they accommodated every request with smiles. It was a great experience.
Great as usual. Love this restaurant. Usually order 2 or 3 great starters for our meal. Ambiance is wonderful & never had a poor server in 3 years coming here.
Awesome as always!
Went there for 1st time for dinner on Valentine's...
Ordered the steak for two and a $12 hearts of palm salad..
Seriously, the salad did not cover the 6-7 in salad plate and very few hearts of palm..the food runner, who was apparently new, brought the food, no plates, when ask for plates, brought back one salad plate..again, had to ask for dinner plates..
All this for a overpriced Valentine's dinner..tip
Our week day dinner was very enjoyable at T&T, a relatively new restaurant in this location on Shem Creek. The decor is modern and the vibe energetic. The place was busy with a large group event which slowed bar service a bit with the wait for our cocktails longer than expected. The food portions here are really big. The dinner salad of baby spinach, shaved brussel sprouts with a generous chunk of salmon was more than enough for a person with a small appetite. A companion's steak dinner salad was equally satisfying with multiple thin slices of perfectly cooked beef on frisee and arugula. We shared a plate of fried deviled eggs, a novelty featuring panko fried white portion and whipped mustard/yoke filling with maybe a few bacon bits on top. Another diner at our table consumed a whole fish, a daunting task, but only the head and tail remained after he finished. The fish was moist and tender. A plate of Dynamite shrimp was delightfully crunchy and the baked brussel sprouts were very flavorful. The shared marshmallow/peanut/caramel dessert was a bit disappointing, but they certainly get points for creativity. Maybe I was mistaken about the caramel, because I didn't taste any. At any rate, the place has great ambiance and very good food. We will probably return again.
The overall atmosphere was wonderful. Food was very delicious and portions were generous. The best part of the meal outside of the bison burger was the s’mores dessert. Our service was not what I would have hoped from an establishment of this caliber. The waiter was very inattentive and could not give us a clear description of the evenings specials. We still enjoyed our evening but have had better experiences at other places outside of maybe stopping in for coffee and dessert we probably will not return.
We had our daughter visiting from the west coast. There are a lot of choices to go out to eat in the Charleston area for a celebration. We thought that eating on the water at sundown was a plus. We have been here before and wanted to come back. Everything about the evening was delightful. We especially loved the beet salad--suburb! The only thing we might ask is that your dessert menu be more varied. Just wonderful in every way.
First and LAST time there. Pimento cheese was good. Entree was lamb bolognese- TERRIBLE! Waitress was mostly efficient but neglected to even mention chef special s. Made no effort to find out why I wasn’t pleased. Finally spoke to manager. She did remove entree from bill.
Definitely NOT going back.
