This is a fine place to eat if you're not expecting much, or if you're confined to the hotel where it's located. Not what we were looking for or expecting based on the Open Table profile.
Recently had a breakfast meeting at Tavern 64. The eggs Benedict hit the spot. Service was very attentive but not obtrusive.
Excellent service and food
Second wonderful experience at Tavern64. The food quality is amazing.
Enjoyed an a la carte brunch at noon. Wish the brunch buffet did not end at 11 am.
Tavern64 was a pleasant surprise! Previously, I've heard some not so great reviews, but honestly felt like we went to a completely new restaurant. All the menu items looked terrific, & the wine list had some really nice offerings as well. We will be back!
Bananas Foster french toast was AMAZING!!!! Service was meh. Coffee was strong but good. I'd go back. :)
The Sunday brunch (ordered from the menu rather than buffet) was excellent. Four different entrees, plus pancakes from the kid's menu - all were amazing! Great value, and we all commented that we would like to come back again.
Love the food
Not really sure how or why this place is in business. It's a shame because it really has a nice ambiance and outdoor area. Too bad the chef doesn't know the difference between their own steak sauce and balsamic vinegar.
Great breakfast.
First time dining here. Salad VG. Pork cheek sandwich too oily and needed more ingredients. French fries VG.
Food was absolutely Amazing!!!! Service unfortunately is lacking. The front door wasn't open and wait staff just didn't exist. Drinks were really weak as well.
With construction and event road closures, the hotel was difficult to find. The food was very good and the service was excellent. They accommodated our group of 10 people at 6:30, which many restaurants will not do unless you go very early in the evening. I would go back.
Elsa, the hostess, took very good care of myself and my date. She was so nice and professional and friendly.
Tavern 64 was decently priced and the ambiance was good, however, I wouldn’t consider it an amazing value and I would not come back again.
Nothing special! Everything is normal, but it is not exiting!
For an $80 tab, the waiter tried to get me to sign a credit card receipt for $112. Don't go there. I never will again.
Many drunken patrons left over from happy hour. Food was okay. Service was great considering the clientele who consider themselves privileged.
Food was great, but service was very slow. It was about 40 minutes after ordering before food arrived.
Everyone in our party loved their meals. Two had lamb, two had humongous sandwiches and I had perfectly prepared scallops. The only drawback was our disappearing server. He took our orders then didn’t check for later drink refills. The host or possibly assistant manager helped fill our requests more than once,
Rock fish and rack of lamb were excellent. Will go vack again.
We loved this place and were so happy we tried it! We are going to add it to our list of staple restaurants....
Food wasn’t advertised/described well in menu. Fair food not the best value
Great restaurant right next to the Hyatt at Reston Town Center. Friendly, efficient service. Great food in a bar-type atmosphere with restaurant. IN summer there is outside seating.
I would recommend if the person wanted a quiet low energy dinning experience.
Excellent brunch. Interesting menu and great service.
Grilled ribeye and tavern salad was delicious! Appetizers were just ok. Need more options for sharing.
Terrible food. Wife didnt eat and I left half my food. Very disappointed because the ambiance was great
Great atmosphere, food, and wine! The locally sourced food was delicious and creatively prepared. The service was excellent and the staff very knowledgeable about the menu offerings. The apple dessert was delectable and could be paired with a variety of vine or drink selections. My husband and I will definitely return.
Quietish relaxing location with a farm style menu with finesse. Simple and relaxing which is what I wanted.
Overall, I felt very comfortable and knew it was a place I relax with an associate after work. The service was top notch and the food selection was good.
This was a very nice place to be for dinner on New Year’s Eve. The menu presented delicious options and wide variety of choices. and the service was excellent. Dining here put us in a great mood for the rest of the evening.
The hostess Liv was very accommodating to our changing reservation quantity and late arrivals. Very much appreciated! Food was very good.
All in a great place to eat. Varied and unique menu celebrating the tastes of Virginia. Service was great, and they were happy to accommodate our special requests.
The food was inedible and we sent it back, did not accept another dish. The waiter was helpful and the manager came over to speak with us. The manager was sensible, fair understood, and did not charge for the meal. We tipped the waiter generously as he was aced out of a full meal tip. This is essentially a bar to carry over the clientele of the hotel who do not wish to pay the fares in one of the hotel restaurants. The prices at Tavern 64 are also way out of line. Given the overall experience, the senior management of Tavern 64 and the Hyatt Regency need to do some serious thinking and revamping.
This is about as close as farm to table as you can find in Reston. Most of the menu items are locally sourced, and you can tell. The menu has expanded since our last visit, so we tried some new entrees, including bison short ribs and beef cheeks, which were both excellent. The salads were so fresh and flavorful, and the parsnip puree was outstanding. We really appreciate the selection of gluten free options, including the gluten free bread, and the kitchen's flexibility when it comes to substituting or modifying to accommodate our GF people. It's usually pretty quiet, which I like; but there was a holiday party going on which brought the noise level up a bit this evening. Service is always top notch.
We love Jose!
Such a delicious and healthy menu! I had a health issue that required I avoid certain ingredients and the staff was quite accommodating, which I very much appreciated!
Very nice place but the food choices left some of our guests disappointed. Steak was womderful, kids meals were great, the chicken dish lacked flavor.
