We had delicious food and excellent service. Both the waiter and manager checked in on us several times and got everything right.
It was good food in a nice atmosphere. The service left something to be desired.
Great food and service!
Great food and atmosphere.
Service was really good however the food was horrible.
They would let us buy the dessert from the price fixe menu without ordering the whole dinner....really
We have been here a couple of times now and the food is excellent. Definitely pricey, but you are at Northstar Village. Definitely worth it! Live music has been great both times. We will be back!
Our reservation was for 8:30 and the restaurant closed at 8. They did not notify us.
Very noisy due to a child's birthday party that was totally disruptive to the entire dining room.
Food mediocre at best.
Food was amazing and live music was very enjoyable! Hostess wasn't having a great day, but service was good.
A couple years back we tried to have dinner here and were treated pretty poorly by the hostess. Nonetheless, we always had in mind this would be a really nice experience following skiing Northstar.
We entered on time for our reservation and were seated right away (nice). The wall of horrendous stench that met us as we walked through the door was absolutely shocking. It was the smell that they create when they really need to disinfect something... like ammonia and bleach combined. Regrettably, the smell did not just stop at the door; but continued to waft throughout the entire restaurant. Fortunately, I was less prone to smell it; however, the rest of my family smelled it throughout the entire dinner.
The atmosphere inside is pretty rough. Scattered tables throughout 3 small rooms. We were seated in the front of the bar area which ended up having live music. For us, that's a plus. However, the manager of the restaurant didn't see fit to turn the television off above the performer which, is just plain rude. My wife asked to have the television turned off... it was in like 10m.
Our food was pretty good I must admit. My biggest issue comes down to the bartender. I get it; I'm kind of a drink connoisseur. The manhattan was advertised as using a Luxardo cherry and I got a Shirley Temple quality maraschino. On the way to the bathroom, I saw it... the jar of Luxardos on the bar. Boooo. I switched to a bourbon, neat, for the next drink. How can that go wrong? Well, it came on the rocks; a million rocks. I quickly ran it back and let them know. What I got back blew my mind... cold, chilled, watered down bourbon. They had taken my bourbon rocks and strained it into a glass to pass it off as neat! Neat is no water... this was beyond.
At this point, I just got the check and left.
The saving grace was our bus-person; he was friendly and amazing. I regret to this very minute that I didn't get his name to be able to celebrate him.
Our dinners were of mixed qualities. Two people had the crab pot pie and thought it lacking. One had the calamari which were very good as was the salad.
Great service and staff. Megan was our waitress we had a table of 5 adults and 7 kids and she was terrific
Meh. Our appetizer (beet salad with goat cheese) was good but the chicken chili was bland and uninspiring. I felt like the menu was overpriced for what it was. Our server was very nice and did a good job.
God food. Good location
My son has severe nut allergies and we have always enjoyed eating here because the menu and staff are really accommodating! This year, the restaurant has even added an allergy-specific menu. Service was outstanding as usual and the food was very good -- especially enjoyed the duck confit & white sangria!
I was really disappointed to dine at Tavern 6330! I called 10 days ahead of time and was told it would be order from the menu not buffet for Thanksgiving. But they had a buffet that tasted like canned and frozen food with no salt and pepper or any seasoning at all. I also inquired about vegetarian options for 1 family member when I called and they said they had several options. The buffet had very few options so they pulled some veggies from the freezer and put a cup of butter on them and served them! And there was not anything on the table but a roll of silverware no salt, pepper, a candle or even a centerpiece. For over $50 a head I think we could have eaten hospital food and been better off.
Always a great time when we come for dinner. Service tends to run on the slow side for those that are in a rush. This is definitely a restaurant to come in and sit down and get comfortable for a while. The menu is always changing and the food is excellent. Their drinks are equally yummy.
I made reservations for Thanksgiving so far in advance that I wasn't sure what the menu would be but was hoping for a turkey dinner. We were so pleased with the Thanksgiving buffet. The food was excellent and the service was great. Reasonable corking fee is charged and we were able to enjoy a favorite bottle of wine. So glad we dined here. We'll be back!!
While our waitress was lovely and the ambiance of the restaurant quite nice, we were seated in an area that had a very large dinner party and the noise level was incredibly loud. The food was good but not so much to compensate for the noise level. Decent wine list as well.
Super food and drinks. Great wait staff too
Great food and attentive staff. Very accommodating for families! Will come back!
Amazing burgers, both vegan and meat. Service was stellar!
Working out the kinks is what our waiter said ... that was an understatement! It took an unbelievable amount of time to get our beverages and food. The beet salad was excellent, scallops were ok, but over-priced for just two and the filet mignon came medium not medium rare. They definitely have a lot of kinks to work out!
Good example of casual dining at ski resort.
Casual dress always a plus for my husband. Spinach salad was fabulous. French onion soup could use a makeover - however I ate it all.
We were in Northstar on vacation ate at 6330 twice and will say it was the best meals we had the entire week! Great food and service. Highly recommend that you try it, well worth every bite! Pork chop was phenomenal the pasta, butternut soup and spinach salad was also fantastic!
Pleasantly surprised, excellent food, they were very accommodating to special request. Great service! Interior was black and dark feeling. Warming it up some would make it feel more inviting instead of a cave feeling. But, the food was well worth it!
Website and winelist not up to date.
Place could have more atmosphere. Service was good.
Real value for the money foodwise.
Just an odd place. The staff didn't seem to really know what they were doing. The dining room was brightly lit, the tv was on and they are trying to serve a fine dining menu. The front of the house just did not seem to match what the back of the house was trying to do.
The salads we had were fantastic, fresh and creative. I order d the prime rib and thought it was very salty. The mashed potatoes and veggies were solid. My wife got fish. She thought it was good but thought the broth it was served in was also very salty.
I would not plan to return.
Mediocre, overpriced food (e.g. the pasta dish at $27 was completely bland and lacking any seasoning whatsoever). Awkward dining layout (e.g. we were seated at a table right at the entrance to the back dining area). Did not honor nice table request for special occasion (e.g. seated at awful table despite a booth off to the side being empty). Screaming kids everywhere (I know there's not much the restaurant can do about this but just a warning of what to expect). I really wish we'd gone somewhere else.
We had a party of 10, on split reservations. They rearranged tables to accommodate us. Service was attentive and food was excellent across the board. Scallop appetizer was amazing. I also recommend the adult root beer float.
The food was fresh and delicious; we especially enjoyed the beet salad. We tried the kale salad and they were flexible and willing to mix in other greens as we thought too much kale might overwhelm kids. Pappardelle pasta was tender and delicious, rich but not heavy. Chocolate cake was big enough for our family of four to feel like we got a treat, and it too was wich but not heavy. Service friendly and attentive. Lots of families on vacation, many casually dressed in après ski gear. (We dined early during ski week.)
Overall lovely dinner. Would gladly return when feeling like a splurge!
Food was pedestrian, service poor and ambiance awkward. Hey but at least it was over priced.
Enjoyed a casual dinner in the bar area along with great music by a one man band.
It was a snowy night. The shuttle was late picking us up so we were late for our reservation. While they had given our table away they did a wonderful job as providing an adequate replacement. We had a wonderful server who was warm, friendly, and we shared a few dinning experiences between us. Went through specials for that evening and mentioned what was not available from the menu. The service was timely and always with smiles and happy conversation. Food was served as ordered, seasoned as expected. We both ordered the prime rib rare, there was a slight toughness to the meal. The side of garlic mashed potatoes was delightful, not overly garlic.
Great place to celebrate an occasion. Great food and excellent service. Reasonable price.
Great place to be after getting tired of club lounge food at Ritz Carlton
The restaurant was so cold. yes, it's on a ski resort, but we'd eaten here many times before in other seasons and it was never cold. Guests kept on their hats, scarves and coats. The restaurant wasn't very clean and the food was just okay. This was formerly one of our favorite places to dine for a special night out during a ski weekend. on the next trip we take to the mountain, we will be staying in every night. I'm not sure what has happened with the management (nor their budget for heat!), but it was a big disappointment for the price paid.
My meal of the chicken udon was delicious, however, my husbands pork chop was extremely bland as were the Brussel sprouts and the purée under the chop (can't recall what it was). The entire meal had the same bland taste. The singer was very talented and our waitress was friendly, but we won't be returning.
The food here is created with special care. Amazing quality food in a very inconspicuous setting. Best part about it is we've eaten here off and on for several years and the quality has stayed the same, if not better.
